Gooooooooooooooood morning/afternoon/evening/night fellow hermittpadders! Hi it's Llama here with the intro and it's currently 3:56 am but let's move on from that and start with this week's recap, as we got some good and bad news to share with you all.
Starting off with the bad news, _Ash-Potato_ left the team this week. She was the roleplay recapper, and also worked on this recap and also the other random books we have on this account. I can not describe the work she put into the recap- like oh my *goodness*- the roleplay is something that the whole team fears, and she handled it amazingly every time. They were always so good at working with the team- and oh my goodness just- scream the amount of love and respect she should get is insane. Azael is one of the most hardworking, kind, hilarious people I know, and it was an absolute joy to steal her braincells- i mean work with her.
Azael/Advil/Dad/Dadvil is just- so dang amazing. They always know how to bring a smile to my face, to lighten a situation, to get something done, to help out with everyone- oh my goodness they just- ajlkdjLDF AAAA JUST AMAZING HUGE YES FROM ME. These two are some of the most amazing people I know, and I am extremely proud to call them my friends. I want y'all to go to her account and s p a m her with love. Not spam spam, but just drop by and shower them with love and hugs and praise. She deserves it all. Thank you for the memories, and if you ever want to come back, we will welcome you with open arms. <3 (Lmao I wrote way to much didn't I -Smutler)
Continuing on with the good news, let's give a warm welcome to our newest member of the recap team: FandomsUnite05! Welcome to the team Fandome, we are so excited for you to rapidly lose braincells over Smutler's bullshit. :D
Also, there will not be a Roleplay Recap this week due to Azael and Athena leaving the team and they handled all of the roleplay stuff. So, this means that we will need some help. If you are a large part of the roleplay and you want to do this, you can join the discord server below. Basically, you can recap events to us all, so we can get it organized. I'm gonna be trying to take on recapping the roleplay, but I'm gonna need some help before I'll be able to go through large comment chains and figure out this all. (This is Smutler talking btw.) If we don't do this, we will either have to figure out a different method, or maybe abandon the roleplay recap, or wait until I somehow get the hang of it.

Dang, everyone's hitting so many well-deserved milestones this week. C'mon, save some talent for the rest of us! Anyhoo, guess it's time to summarize a few of the epic books that were updated (pixl voice) this week onnnnn Hermittpad! :D
(I just realized we've used :D in almost every paragraph but that's ok- we aren't gonna stop anyways! :D You'll have to accept it or suffer! :D)
First off, radiant-kitty wrote about Demise from Stress' perspective after she dies, and HOLY ADRICORN, it's an emotional rollercoaster of fluff and emotions :DD! My heart just melted while reading this, the s o f t n e s s and the adorable platonic Stresskall at the end just got me- And it's super well written too, jdafnjgbfjh sorry i just needed to get the keysmash outta my system at how amazing it is-
_mochii112_ FiNaLLY started an art book! It's about time, cause her drawings are one of the best things on this planet- seriously, jUST LoOK at them. Skyla's art watered my depression, cleared my crops, Trivago-ed my skin, and cured my hotels. Please go check it out and give her some love! :D
OhHeyItsLoki uploaded the most heartwarming Bdoc proposal fic ever! :D It's too fluffy to handle and I'm still squealing a day after reading it, my multishipper heart is going brrr, please send help-
AHyperFerret/AHyperCornret started a Hermitcraft Ghost AU! It's got an awesome concept and an awesome plotline, and can I just say I'm OBSESSED with the AU so far-? :D
BarnowlNiza and Casuallyy have been doing a tentative thirty-one day prompt challenge for the month of August, yielding a new short piece from a one-word prompt each day. Lots of cool drabbles so far! :D
Also, ScarianCult has published a new story- the Hermittale AU is an AU where hermittpadders are put into the roles from Undertale! So far, just the first chapter has been posted, but it's looking great so far! AAAAAA like holy crap, how was that flowey scene so well done?? Seriously, I got C H I L L S. Make sure to check it out, especially if you're a fan of the game! :D
FandomsUnite05 wrote some new fluffy Kerdubs! If my poor soft heart wasn't functioning before, then it sure as hECc isn't functioning now- like holy fluff- do go check it out if you're craving some fluff! :D
SomethingWithA13 published some new angsty Xisuma and EX drabbles in their Hermitcraft book! :D they're short, but they can really tug at your heart-
Based on a certain out of context Hermitcraft quote from a recent Mumbo video, "Xisuma starved to death", Ariyaquila wrote an angsty oneshot in which Xisuma well... starves. :D
In other news, aNOTHER war has started within our cul-community. So if you've seen some CORN announcements floating around, this is why! A few days ago the Scarian Cult started worshipping the vegetable. Then SoMeBoDy on our team- (we know it was you smutler- no hard feelings, but corn is better sdhfbjhs) decided to #KillTheCorn, and let potatoes rule over hermittpad instead! Just when things couldn't get any weirder (jkjkjk they totally could, like this is hermittpad, cmon)- A third team rose up, the Corntatos. Soo yeah, we're basically having a civil war with vegetables now. SKJDFJHGJ this community is so weird and I love it- :D
