Athy lean her head closer to Anastacius's chest.
It took sometime till she can hear his heartbeat clearly.
The heartbeat is very slow.
But it made Athy cried in relief, all she ever wanted is for Anastacius to live and stay close beside her.
"Come on, Athy, it's getting late, we should have dinner by now.."
Lucas holds Athy's shoulder.
"I'm not comming, i'll eat here"
Athy said.
"W-what?! Why? You'll be sick again later on!"
Lucas scolded Athy.
"I won't, i'll wait here till dad wakes up.."
Athy said, sitting on the edge of the bed.
Lucas sighed, he knew athy would do this, just like the last time she faint that night.
But something is bugging his mind.
He is really pissed when Jenette blocks him from trying to save athy, and he also couldn't find out why her mana went wild.
"Suit yourself.. i'll ask lily to bring your food here"
Lucas said.
"Oh and we're offered to stay at ruby palace by the emperor, at least till he wake up"
Athy nods.
And the door shut.
Silence flow like a wave, quick.
Athy glanced to Anastacius.
'Even his hair is pale..'
Athy sighed and touched his hair.
"What are you dreaming?.. daddy"
Athy smiled, trying to think happily.
Even tho tears kept flowing.
"Is daddy dreaming about my mum?"
"..."
"I hope you have a good dream.. once you wake u-up.."
Athy cried and kept gasping for air,
"I'll tell you everything.."
Just like she always said to him everytime it's her last day in the mansion, before she went to school.

In repeat. Athy still waits for him.
At least she still wanted to eat and bath.
But she rarely sleep comfortably.
"Daddy.. wake up.. please.."
Athy whispered, and hold his hands.
"Lady athy, it's late. Please go to sleep.."
Lily said, getting concerned.
"Please.. he will wake up one day, and you have to be ready for that.."
"Yes lily"
Athy smiled.
Lily sighed and glanced at her once again before she go.
"Goodnight, m'lady"
And the door shuts.
Athy rest her head in her arms.
She kept starring at Anastacius.
Waiting..
"Please athy, just rest.."
Lucas sighed.
"I'll tell you when he finally wakes up"
"No, i want to be the first one who see him waking up"
Athy said.
"Whatever.."
Lucas sighed and covers athy's body with a thick blanket.
"Goodnight.."
He pats athy's head and left.
Athy slowly pokes Anastacius's head,
Remembering when she was a kid, she used to do that to joke around him when he's napping on work time.
"..."
"Dad.."
Athy sighed and holds his hand tighter.
Her eyes shines under the moonlight,
"Daddy.. please wake up.."
