Ash's POV around 5:00 PM
"Serena you can take your Braxzin now but don't let her use fire type moves for a few days", Nurse day said as Mystic walks over to us from Nurse Joy.
"Ok Nurse Joy thanks a lot", Serena replied as she hugged Mystic.
"Yea thank you Nurse Joy", Riptide said.
Nurse Joy then walked away.
"Hey Ash did you know their is a Gym here", Serena said.
"Their is", I asked excitedly.
"Yea and if we hurry we can get their before it closes in 30 minutes", Serena said.
'Can we go go the gym Master Ash', Lucario said.
"Yea lets go Ash", Riptide said.
"Ok let hurry so we get their on time", I said as I ran off.
"Ash wai-", Serena said, but I bumped into something.
"I'm so sorry sir I should watch where I'm going", said a short Girl no older than 10 with blonde hair.
"No it my fault I started running toward the Santalune Gym", I say.
"You are can I follow you their I'm need to meet my big brother there but I took a wrong turn and got lost", the Girl said.
"Sure just follow us but can we get your name", Serena said.
"Ops forgot to tell you my name is Bonnie whats your names", The girl now known as Bonnie said.
"My name is Serena", Serena answered.
"And my name is A-Red and this is Riptide and Lucario", I say.
"Hi", Riptide said while waveing.
'Hello Miss Bonnie, Master Red do both Riptide and I get to battle in the gym battle', Lucario asked.
"Wow did your Lucario just talk", Bonnie asked.
'Yes I did Miss Bonnie', Lucario awnsered.
"WOW THATS SOO COOL", Bonnie said.
"Not sure Lucario but I hope so", I said.
"Don't you need to be meeting your brother", Serena asked.
"Oh yea Lets go", Bonnie said.
"Nice going distracting the girl Lucario", Riptide said laugh.
"Shut up Riptide", Lucario shot back.
Mystic started to giggle at the two of them bickering like brothers.
"So Red are you entering the Kalos league if so how many badges do you have", Bonnie asked.
"I currently am going to win my first gym badge", I said with enthusiasm.
"I wish I could go ahead and be a trainer already I'm only 10 I have to wait till I am 16 in kalos but I want to go to Hoenn first so I have to wait till I'm 17", Bonnie stated.
"That cool I had to wait and I couldn't wait to become 16 to become a trainer I wish it came faster", I said.
"Hey Bonnie why were you not with your brother anyways", Serena asked.
"He is doing some repairs to the Santalune score board after a challenger hit it with a Discharge", Bonnie said.
'Poor aim', Lucario said
"Yea tell me about it", Bonnie said.
"Is your brother a mechanic or something", Serena said.
"No he is an inventor he designed the scoreboard", Bonnie Awnsered.
"That pretty cool", I say.
"Yea it is but lest hurry to make it to the gym before it closes", Serena said.
"Lest go", Riptide says.
We then starts to head to the Gym at a quicker pace and they make it to the door 5 minutes before closing.
"We made it in time let's head inside", I say.
We open the doors and head inside where a bunch of framed photos of pokemon. Some looked wild so were with trainers. One picture stood out though. In a small frame on a table was a picture of Mom and dad after mom won the Championship of Sinnoh. Its just the two of them and they look so happy.
Can I help you all a man wareing a gym employ outfit said a he came out the back room.
"I am here to have a gym battle please", I said.
"You made it just in time we were just about to close is this your first gym battle", the worker asked.
"Yes it is but I would like to face the Gym leaders strongest team please", I say.
"Are you sure its a team of 4 pokemon all trained extremely well", the worker asked
"Yes I am", I say.
"Ok you need to fill out some paper work first so can you come with me", the worker said.
I go with the worker and fill out the paper work it ask for my who list of pokemon so put down Riptide and Lucario. After I finish the paper work I give it to the worker. He looks at my name and goes to start talking.
"Can you call me Red until I have to battle I don't want the media following me everywhere because of my Mom", I asked.
"Ok i guys I could do that but go tell your friends to head the the stands and then head to the battle field", The worker says.
"Ok", I replied.
I go tell Serena and Bonnie they could head to the stands now they wish me good luck and leave to head to the stands.
I walk toward the battle field but get stopped by a woman with blonde hair green eyes with a white shirt and bluish green pants with a camera around her neck.
"Hello you must be my last Challenger today I am Viola the Santalune Gym Leader", Viola said.
"I'm go by Red in public but I know for official battles I need to use my real name so my name is Ash Ketcham", I say.
"I understand why you do that but Gym leaders and their staff have to allow privacy to the opponents information but you want to battle my strongest team but you only have two pokemon so I shall use 2 of my team and you use your two pokemon sound good", Viola asked.
"Yea let's get this battle started", I say Enthusiastically.
We both make our way to our sides of the battlefeild.
The referee looks at us and then starts to say the rules.
"This will be a two on two battle against challenger Ash Ketcham and The Santalune Gym leader Viola", the referee said.
I look toward Bonnie and serena and see bonnie freaking out with serena talking to her. Thanks Serena I thought as she nodded at me.
"Both trainers can substitute pokemon, the battle will be over when both pokemon are unable to continue are both trainers ready", he referee finished.
"Yes" both me a Viola said.
"Viola send out your pokemon", the ref said.
"My Lens is Focused on Victory go Heracross", Viola said as she throwed her pokeball. A blue beetle meterlized with a horn on its head
The referee looks at me I nod.
"A Heracross in that case Luacrio you want to go first", I asked.
"It will be my Honor to go first", Luacrio said as he jumped onto the battle field.
"All right the challenger has the first move battle begain", the referee shouts as he lowers his hand.

"Lucario Quick Attack", I command. (I know it seems like a weak move for a Lucario but keep in mind its only been a few days since he evolved).

Heracross.
"Protect", Viola said.
Right befor luacrio hit Heracross a green dome serounded Heracross and took the hit. Lucario bounds off the dome.
"Now use Megahorn", Viola commanded.
Heracross's horn began to glow green and get slightly larger and goes to hit Lucario
"Quick use copycat and use the Megahorn to block", I commanded and Luacrio does it perfectly.
"Nice play Ash but how are you going to fight this Heracross Superpower" Viola said.
Heracross then hit lucario in the gut with a Superpower. Lucario got lunched in the air but landed on his feet holding his gut
"That hurts like hell", Lucario said.
"Good", Heracross said.
"Lucario zone him out and use Aura Sphere", I said.
Lucario jumed and ise Aura Sphere. The Sphere moved so fast that Heracross couldn't react to the move and go hit.
"Good Job Lucario", I praise.
'Thank you Master',Lucario said.
Viola face looked shocked for a second but it went away when she commanded for another Megahorn.
"Lucario look out" I shout as Heracross charges him with the Megahorn.
Lucario puts both hands together and then pulls them away in a straight line in front of him and a blue bone staff appears in his hand and he moves it to block the Megahorn. After the block the bone staff disappeared

'Master was that Bone Rush', Lucario asked as he jumped back in front of me.
"Yes it was let's use Bone Rush again", I say.
Lucario made the Bone staff again and stared swinging it at Heracross and Heracross could not block or dodge any of them. After Lucario stopped Heracross fell to his knees
"Heracross No", Viola shouted with worry.
"Now finish with Force Palm", I say.
"Quick use Protect", Viola said.
Heracross stood up and the dome appeared but right before Lucario got to the dome Heracross fell to his knees again and dropped the dome and took the hit.
[Force Palm but Imagine a Heracross and not a Pikachu]
Heracross flew into the wall of the battlefield with swirls in his eyes.
"Heracross is unable to battle Lucario wins", the Referee said.
"Yes Lucario we to down our first Gym Leader pokemon", I shout happily.
"Go Job Lucario that was a good battle", Riptide said while giving a thumbs up.
'Thank you', Lucario said with a smile.
"Do you want to keep going", I ask.
'Yes I would but is Riptide ok with it', Lucario asked.
"Yea I am okay with it but please loss so I can have a crack at them", Riptide said.
"Will the challenger substitute", the Referee asked.
"No were good", I say.
"Ok in that case Gym Leader Viola please send out your final pokemon", the Referee said.
"Allright then I did want to us this but you leave me no choice go Beedrill", Viola said as she thowed another pokeball.
A yellow bee with black stripes. Has needle arms with red eyes meterlised on the battlefield.
I Look at the Beedrill and see a necklace around its neck with a white stone with a yellow swirl inside the necklace.
"Is that a", I started.
"Yup its a Mega stone and I am going to use it. Strike your pose and with my clear lens we shall get the perfict shot BEEDRILL MEGA EVOLVE", Viola shouted as she touched a key stone on her Camera.
A bright light shown from Beedrill as 4 rays split from the stones and connected. As the rays conected the light shined brighter and then the light vanished and a Mega Beedrill hovered on the battlefield.
"Now that the picture is set the battle may truly begin", Viola said.
"Battle resume", the referee yelled.
"Beedrill swords dance", Viola commanded.
Beedrill rubbed his needles against on another and several blue glowing swords appeared and span around Beedrill. Then they disappeared and a Red aura Surrounded Beedrill for a berif second.
"Lucario Copycat", I say.
Lucario then does the samething Beedrill does.
"Now Lucario use Bone Rush", I commanded.
Lucario forms a Bone again but its double the size showing the power and jumped at Beedrill.
"Twin Needle to block then strike", Viola commanded.
Beedrill's Arms glowed green and got bigger and Beedrill block the bone rush but then hit Lucario in the chest which sent him flying to the ground and a dust cloud forms .
"LUCARIO", I yell hopeing he is ok.
As the dust cloud settles I see Lucario stand up.
"Are you Ok", I asked.
'Yes *cough* master' ,Lucario said.
"How do you like my Beedrills speed Ash", Viola asked
"Its fast allright, but I need to slow it down", I say out load.
"Master what if we make another dust cloud I can still see using aura so beedrill would be blind", Lucario said quietly.
"Yea good thinking", I replied quietly.
"Force palm now to the ground facing beedrill", I say.
I see the looks on everyones faces being confused. Lucario does the attack and a big dust cloud appeared.
"What was the purpose no of use can see", Viola said.
"You sure, Bone Rush let's go", I commanded.
I hear Lucario make the Bone staff but cant see due to the dust But On see Beedill fly out the dust and hit the ground but gets back up.
"Wow how was Lucario able to see innghe Dust", Viola asked.
"He can see with his Aura he can see Beedrill's Aura ,but Finish with Aura Sphere Lucario", I say.
I see Lucario jump out the dust cloud with Aura Sphere in hand.
"Beedrill Twin Needle right trough it", Viola said.
Beedrills Arms glowed green and he charged trough the Aura Sphere and it shattered.
"LUCARIO GET OUT OF THERE", I shout as Beedrill approached him.
Lucario tryed to move but since he was in the air he took the hit directly with out blocking. Lucario landed on the ground with a thud and did not get up.
"Lucario is unable to continue Beedrill is the winner", the Referee said as he raised the flag on Viola's side.
"LUCARIO", I shout as I run over to him.
"Lucario you ok", I say as I see him starting to regain consciousness.
'I'm sorry Master Ash I lost please forgive me', Lucario said.
"You don't have to be sorry you did your best just leave everything to Riptide, but would like to watch the rest of the battle or rest in your pokeball", I asked.
'I would like to watch if that is ok Master Ash', Lucario said.
"Ok let me help you", I say as I help Lucario t to the the stands with Serena and Bonnie.
Could you watch him for me", I say to Serena.
"Yea I will just win this battle but you and Lucario were amazing ", Serena said.
"Thanks but wish me Luck", I say as I return to the battlefield.
"Challenger sent out your final pokemon", the referee said.
"Riptide you ready", I asked.
"Yea lets win" Riptide answered as he jumped and we high fived each other. He then went to the battlefield.
"Battle Resume", the Referee said.
"I will use my speed and finish this photo shoot now Beedrill Poison Jab", Viola said.
Beedrills arms glowed purple and he charged towrd Riptide.
"Double Team quick", I command.
Riptide started to run towrd Beedrill and dozens of copies appeared.
Beedrill hit one and it disappeared. Beedrill then stared attacking as many as he could.
"Water Pulse lets go", I say.
Riptide formed a ball of water between his hands and throwed it the remaining copies did the same.
"Agillty then Twin Neddle", Viola said.
Beedrill started to move faster as he started attacking a copy. He looked angry and tired. What if I get is arms stuck in the ground.
I was going to tell Riptide stop and wait to dodge till I tell you but he all ready stoped and nodded at me saying he understood. I didn't say anything though oh well we will figure that out after this battle.
Beedrill started to charge Riptide.
"Now", I say.
Riptide jumps out the way and Beedrills arms are stuck in the ground.
"Beedrill get out of there", Viola said.
"Not happening Riptide Airale Ace", Riptides fist glowed Blue and he hit Beedrill in the face a dust could appeared again due to the power behind the blast. After the cloud cleared it was already over. Beedrill was back in his base form.
"Beedrill is unable to battle so Umm Riptide wins and the battle goes to Ash the challenger", The Referee said.
"Yes we won our first Gym battle", I shout joyfully as Riptide jumps towrd me and high fives me but he then goes to Mystic and startes to chat.
"That was a good battle Ash", Viola said.
"Yes It was I thank you for battling me", I say.
"Now as proff of your victory here I will give you this a Bug Badge", Viola said as she held out her hand with a brown metal bug looking thing in her hand.
All right our first Gym badge", I say.
"Congratulations Ash", Serena said.
"Thanks", I replied with a smile. I she her face get a little red as she tries to hide it with her hair.I see Bonnie walk to Viola
"Miss Viola have you seen Clemont", Bonnie asked
[All right everybody that Chapter 10 (X) done I hope you all enjoy it but sorry for any errors. I want you to know that I changed my username in case you haven't noticed from b0ssman420 to DarkenedLight01 the reason is that the b0ssman420 was a temporary name until I found on that I like so as you can see I found one. I'm also having school strating up soon so I will try to update every 7 to 10 days but it maybe difficult. I am hoping to change my updating Schedule to every 5 days or so but we shall sre if I am able to. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter its one of the longest ones yet but anyways I shall see you all in the next Chapter so bye]
