"Yes, Lisa, I'm Suzy, the one you left in Paradise."
I can't believe I'll be seeing her again. I made the biggest mistake of my life two years ago in L.A., I got drunk and had a one-night stand with a lady named Suzy.
That night, we took each other's virginity, and the next morning, I left her without even saying goodbye. I never told anyone about what happened, not even to Bambam, who keeps asking me where I slept at the time.
Why is she here? Suzy said she's looking for me everywhere. What if she wants me to take responsibility for what happened? Damn. What should I do? What does she want from me? I'm nervous and sweating cold when she suddenly holds my forearm and caresses them.
"Relax. Why are you so tense, Lisa? It's as if you've seen a ghost. It's just me." Suzy said confidently. "I'm glad you never forget my name," She said and winked.
"W-why are you here?" I asked nervously. She was about to respond when someone yanked me away from her. I gulped when I saw Jennie. She clings to my arm and smiles at Suzy, then at me.
"I had no idea you knew our new models from the United States. How did you know them?" Jennie asked, smiling, but I'm nervous now. I've seen this smile before. She would give me this look when she caught me smoking or drinking with my friends, Oh no, I'm in big trouble.
"W-we met two years ago in Paradise, a nightclub in L.A." I replied.
"Just met Lisa?" Suzy asked, widening my eyes and quickening my heartbeat. "I believe you stole something important to me that night." She smirked. Jennie grips my arm even tighter, and I notice her raising one of her brows. I'm screwed.
"What did you take from her, Honey?" Jennie asks, smiling. I gulped because I was at a loss for words.
"Honey?" Nancy's voice astounded us all. I almost forgot she was here.
I look at Nancy, who appears surprised, and then at Suzy, who appears even more surprised.
The endearment, why did Jennie suddenly call me that?
"Are you and Miss Ruby Jane together?" Nancy asked.
I don't know what to say in response. Jennie is my wife, but we are not intimately involved. I turn to Nancy, then to Suzy, who is now staring at me intently, and finally to Jisoo unnie, who is smirking at me. Why the hell this chicken is smirking at me. If she only knew what I'm going through right now.
"She's my wife." Jennie said firmly. I'm taken aback. I can't believe she's going to tell them.
"You're married Lisa? I thought you were in love with that Nini." Suzy says, looking disappointed. Damn, she remembered that, too.
"I am Nini." Jennie said, showing Suzy her ring finger.
Suzy fixes her gaze on Jennie.
"I envy you, Miss Ruby Jane. Lisa is one-of-a-kind. She's sweet, gorgeous, and hot, but I felt sorry for you because you didn't get the experience to pop her cherry." She smirked. Why did she have to say that? Jennie's grip on my arms became much tighter, and it now hurts me.
"We need to go now. Thank you for making us part of your company Miss Ruby Jane and Miss Jisoo." Suzy said, then she looked at me.
"It's nice to see you again Lisa." She said as she moved closer to the opposite side where Jennie wasn't clinging to me. "I know this isn't the last time we'll see each other Lisa. I still need to punish you for leaving me like that." I gulped at her words. She winked at me then called out to her friend.
"Thank you again, Miss Ruby Jane and Miss Jisoo, and nice to see you again, Lisa." Nancy said as she followed Suzy out of the building.
Jennie's grip is really hurting me right now. "Ouch!" I exclaimed as she abruptly let go of my hand.
"I'm sorry." She said without looking at me.
"J-Jen.-" I'm talking to her when we hear Rosé's voice.
"Hello girls!" Rosé exclaimed, going straight to Jisoo and kiss her. "I miss you so much, babe." She said, smiling at Jisoo unnie. "Are those your new models? They look hot, especially the taller one." She asked, drawing a frown from Jisoo.
"Are you checking them out, baby?" Jisoo asked.
Rosé suddenly shook her head.
"Of course not! What's with the long faces, babe? What happened here?" Rosé asked of Jisoo unnie.
"Well, we didn't realize our Lalisa was so friendly-" Unnie replied, but I abruptly cut her off, I can't take it any longer if they tease me.
"Are we leaving now?" I suddenly asked.
"I'm just going to get my stuff in my office." Jennie explained.
"You're coming with us?" I asked, perplexed.
"Is there a problem, Lisa?" Jennie said with her face expressionless. Damn, why can't I just zip this mouth of mine?
"N-no, fine, we'll wait for you here." I stutter. She just rolled her eyes at me before she left,
"Damn you two, I thought I'd only be a third wheel to your date." I grumbled. "I'm not ready to eat dinner with the three of you." I explained.
"The three of us or to Jennie only, I know you miss her as well Lalisa. Stop fighting yourself." Jisoo unnie said.
"Stop avoiding her, Lisa." Rosé said. Do they know I haven't talked to Jennie since that night? Did Jennie tell them about it? I'm about to ask them, but they're both lost in their own worlds.
"Baby, I'm just going to get my things in my office as well. Would you like to come with me?" Jisoo asked Rosé, who simply shook her head
"I'll just stay here with this monkey." Rosé explained. Jisoo unnie kissed Rosé on the lips once more before leaving the two of us.
"You chipmunk, you set me up!" I scowl at her, but she just sticks her tongue out at me. I'm about to smack her when my phone rings, so I answer it right away.
I ended the call after a few minutes, and the two just arrived. "Who called you?" Rosé asked. I took a deep breath as I looked at the three of them.
"Uhm, Seulgi called me a while ago and said Jimin returned from London. She asked me to hang out with them in the club. I know the three of you don't like going there, so if you don't mind, can I go with you some other time besides Jennie will go with the two of you?" I told them. The three of them are expressionless when they look at me. Oh no, I'm doomed.
"We're going with you." Jennie suddenly said.
"But you don't like drinking, and -" I'm not done speaking when she cuts me off.
"I know what I want now, Lisa." Jennie said, her gaze fixed on mine. I don't understand what she's saying.
"That's a great idea, Jendeukie. We haven't all been in a club in a long time, and I'd like to see Jimin as well." Jisoo unnie said.
"Me, too. I think I need a drink. This week has been quite exhausting." Rosé said. These two are ridiculous.
"But we are still in our business attire?" I asked.
"Yah Lalisa! Is your brain already damaged? We can change our clothes, duh!" Rosé grumbled.
"Let's meet at the club in an hour." Jisoo unnie suggested, and I sighed deeply.
First, we went home to change.
An hour later.
I waited for Jennie because we were driving to the club in my car. My eyes widened as I noticed what she was wearing. She's stunning and incredibly hot. Damn, I need to stop staring at her. She might mistake me for a pervert.
"Let's go." Jennie said, but I'm still not moving. "What's the matter, Lisa?" She asked.
"Are you sure you're wearing that?" I inquired.
"What's wrong? Am I ugly in this dress?" She asked. I immediately shook my head and frowned at her.
"Of course not, the thing is that, the dress is quite short and-" I was still talking to her when she suddenly left me and got inside the car. What is the matter with her? I don't know what's going on in her head anymore. I'm glad that I'm wearing a leather jacket. I'm going to let her wear it later when we get to the club.
The ride is quiet. I can't see her expression right now because she's looking out the car window. When we arrive at the club, she gets out of the car first and goes inside. Damn. Her dress. A lot of guys will definitely hit on her tonight. I'm hoping I can keep my cool until we get home.
People start staring at us as I follow her inside. I want to smack these guys who look at her like a piece of meat. We made our way to the VIP section of the club, where our friends awaited us.
Jisoo unnie and Rosé called awhile ago and said they were already here.
When our friends noticed us, Jimin, our friend from London, ran towards us and hugged the both of us.
"Yah Limario! My favorite friend, I miss you and you, Ruby Jane, I can't believe you're coming here." Jimin exclaimed as he let go of the two of us. "By the way, I also want to congratulate the two of you I know the two of you will end up together. I'm so proud of you Limario." Jimin said, tapping my shoulders.
"I-" I don't know how to respond to that. My friends most likely did not tell him the full story of why we got married.
"Thank you, Jimin. It's nice to see you again. Let's enjoy the night." Jennie said before leaving us to mingle with the girls.
Jimin smirked at me before dragging me over to our other friends.
"Your wife has given you permission to party. It's all on me tonight. Let's party all night!" Jimin exclaims. I nodded, but I promised myself not to get drunk because I was going to drive later.
After several rounds. Our friends started teasing, and the single started flirting with strangers. Jisoo suddenly asked me a question while I was drinking a non-alcoholic cocktail.
"I'm curious, Lalisa, what does 'pop the cherry' mean?" She asked, as if it were a normal thing to do. I want to cover her mouth to make her stop talking, but she's sitting too far away. I'm screwed. Seulgi and the others smirked when they heard her.
"Why are you suddenly asking that, Jisoo?" Seulgi asked and smirked at her.
"Well, our new model from the United States, Suzy, told Jendeukie that she felt sorry for her because she didn't get the experience to pop Lisa's cherry. What does that mean?" Our friends' eyes widen, then they all look at me with malice.
"Perhaps they were eating cherries at the time, and Suzy ate Lisa's cherry." Rosé said innocently. Our friends laughed when they heard that. I can't wait to get out of here. Seulgi rises from her seat and approaches the two.
"I didn't realize you two were so innocent even though you're both doing it." Seulgi said as she sat in the middle of Jisoo unnie and Rosé. "Well, that model wants to tell our Jendeukie that she's sorry for her because she didn't experience taking our Lisa's purity. Perhaps that model took Lisa's virginity." She says, moving away from the two. The two blushed, but then grimaced and began to walk towards me, fuming.
"How dare you, Lalisa!" Jisoo exclaimed.
"Why did you keep that from us?" Rosé asked.
"Yah Lisayah your doom!" Seulgi mocks me. "You're always scolding me for sleeping with strangers before, but you're just like me." She laughs.
"I'm going to kill you later, Seulgi!" I yelled. "Let me explain first. I didn't intend for that to happen. I was so drunk at the time that I didn't really know what happened to the two of us that night. I'm so ashamed of what I've done that's why I decided to never tell it to anyone, but that Suzy suddenly showed up." I said sincerely to them.
The two abruptly stopped smacking me.
"I'm going to choke that Suzy the next time I see her. She took advantage of you that night. I'm telling Jendeukie to terminate her contract right away." Jisoo unnie said anxiously.
"You're right, babe. We should tell Jennie. By the way, where is she?" Rosé asked.
Jennie is drinking with Joy and Wendy earlier, but she's no longer with them. I looked around, but she was nowhere to be found. I'm starting to get nervous right now. Where the hell did she go? What if that psycho guy shows up tonight and kidnaps her while we are partying.
Damn Jennie, where are you?!
