"(Y/N) It's here! It's here!" You hear your boyfriend Michael scream down the hall.
You run down the hallway excited to see if you got picked to preform on New Years Eve in New York.
As you run in you see Michael holding the envelope that had the list who will be preforming inside.
You run right over to Michael and take the envelope right out of his hands and ripe it open.
You scroll down the list looking for your name yet you only see 5 Seconds Of Summer.
"So...." Michael says with suspense.
"I...I...I...didn't make it." you say handing him the list and sit down on the sofa.
"I can't believe I made it and you didn't." Michael says sitting next to you on the sofa rubbing your back.
"It's ok that I didn't make it because I am happy that you did." You say looking at Michael.
"Oh my god Michael you are preforming in Times Square!!!!" You jump up pulling Michael up off the Sofa and jumping into his arms.
"You know what this means!? We are going on vacation to New York City together!" He says hugging you tight.
He puts you down and you run into your room and start packing.
The next day
You hadn't seen Michael all day and he havent answered your texts or your calls.
"Hey Michael I know I have been calling a lot but I wanted to know where you are because we have a double lunch date with Luke and Hannah. So when you get this call me back I guess, love you bye."
You hang up the phone and text Luke to come over so you guys can just talk.
A hour later you hear your doorbell ring. You walk over to the door opening it and you see Luke standing there in grey sweatpants and a band shirt.
"Hi!" you say hugging Luke.
"Hey so what's up you never ask me to come over." He starts to walk in and you see him looking around for Michael.
"Yeah he isn't here that is why I texted you because I don't know where he is."
"I have no idea where he is I haven't seen him or talked to him all day." Luke says turning on the tv and switching the channel to TMZ.
You guys started to watch it and after 20 minutes you see Michael on the tv.
"So today band member from 5 Seconds Of Summer, Michael Clifford, was seen with a short blonde beauty. The real question is where is (Y/N) his girlfriend." They show a picture of the two of them walking in and out of the restaurant that you and him where suppose to go to lunch.
You had the look of pure horror on your face knowing that there was a possibility that he was cheating on you.
Luke noticed that you had your suitcase packed in the corner of the room.
"Where are you going?"
"Well me and Michael were suppose to go to New York together because you guys got to go preform there on New Years Eve." You say picking up your suitcase putting it in your room and then you sat down on your bed.
You hear a tiny knock on the bedroom door and when you looked up you saw Luke standing there leaning against the open door.
"It's going to be ok trust me, if you aren't going to NYC with Michael you can go with me and Hannah I mean you guys are best friends so it will work out perfect!" Luke says walking over to the bed sitting down and hugging you.
"Your right I will go with you guys! I mean I know we are on the same flight with him but I am not going to socialize with him." you say getting up and wipe tears off your face.
"So your breaking up with him?" Luke says as starts to get up.
"Yeah, because he isn't answering my calls or texts and he is seen with some girl that is gorgeous." You say taking your phone out of your back pocket and start dialing Michaels number.
The call rings for a little bit and then goes to voice mail.
"Hello Michael, this is enough I can't be with you anymore you are cheating on me with that dumb bitch and your are not answering my calls and texts. So have a nice life goodbye."
You hang up the phone and put it back in your pocket.
"Wow I can't believe you guys are through you have been together for 2 years."
"Well believe it because it is now true." You say walking out into the living room.
1 Week Later
"(Y/N) are you ready to go?" Luke asks coming into your room.
"Yeah let's go!" You reply rolling your suitcase to the car.
"Are you sure you don't want to take a different flight because of the whole Michael thing?" Luke says walking next to you with his bag.
"Yeah I'm sure, I can't just run away from my problems."
"Well with the money you have you really can." Luke says picking up your suitcase putting it in the trunk.
"Real funny, but I don't run from my problems that just shows I am not confident." You say opening the car door and getting in sitting next to Hannah.

As you are arriving you see Michael already there taking pictures with fans.
Great you say to yourself as the car comes to a stop.
You get out of the car and get your bag out of the trunk and walk straight to where your plane was taking off.
As you are sitting on the plane Michael taps on your shoulder.
"Hey I just wanted to say sorry for the miscommunication it's just have been busy all week."
You ignore him and put in your earbuds in your ears and turned on music.
You were really tired so you start dozing off and finally you just fall asleep for the whole entire flight.
"Get up(y/n) we are here." Hannah said with her hand on your shoulder.
You get up and you were so happy because it was New Years Eve and it was going to be a new year in 8 hours.
You walk out of the airport with everyone and get into the first black Mustang you see waiting for you guys.
Before you fell asleep on the plane Hannah told you that she would ride with you in the car since only 2 people could go on one car.
When you hear the door of the car open you assume that it is Hannah so you didn't bother looking up from your phone.
"Listen (y/n) I know that your not excepting me here but I really need to talk to you"
The second you heard his voice your head popped up and you actually let him talk and you had to listen.
"Ok so first off I'm sorry about everything that happened and just to let you know I never cheated on you. That "bitch" was the manager of the New Years special in Times Square."
You look at him and in your mind all you could think about is him kissing you. You knew he made a huge mistake but everyone makes mistakes right? You thought looking at Michael.
"I love you and I really want to be with you. You have been the best thing in my life since we have had Ketchup (😉)."
"Michael I still love you but you have neglected me and you didn't try to fix it until now."
The car was at a stop at your hotel and you got out.
You walked straight the elevators without saying anything to anyone and went straight to your room.
10:30pm
You spent the time you had in your room getting ready to go see 5sos preform at 11:00.
As you are walking down to the lobby you run into Michael.
"Hey! Can you put this on I have a surprise for you!" He said holding a blind fold in his hand.
"Um I kinda really have to go to meet Hannah."
"Come on you won't regret it trust me."
"Ugh fine give me the stupid blind fold." You say as he gives you the blind fold.
You put it on feeling his hand grabbing yours pulling you outside.
As you get outside you feel the cold rush and you smell the alcohol in the air.
He walks you up a stair case of 3 stairs and walks you forward and then turns you.
"Are you ready for your surprise?!" Michael asks as he is holding the end of the blindfold in his hand.
"Yeah" you say getting really antsy.
He takes them off and all you see is millions of people cheering or you.
He gives you a mic and starts to talk.
"So lately I have been a bad boyfriend because I haven't been talking to you but this is because I was setting this up. It was hard but your performing tonight!"
He says giving you a hug and you hug him right back as you are in the hug you whisper to him.
"I love you, and I will take you take."
He smiles at you and you start to preform your hit single.
The night went on and 5sos were the last performance before the ball drops, So they got to stay on stage to watch the ball drop.
Right when it ball was about to drop Michael pulls you on stage and right when he did the ball dropped and kissed you and whispered to you.
"This is going to be a great year baby"
