Deans pov
My blood ran as cold as ice as I heard her scream. I ran as fast as I could back down to her door,
"Cecily!"
I was breathing heavily and opened the door forcefully and ran in. I came to a complete stop as I looked around. Cecily turned and saw me, she had tears running down her face.
"Dean!" She cried and ran to me, gripping me tightly around the waist.
I felt her shaking as I wrapped an arm protectively around her looking at her apartment. It was completely destroyed. Everything was broken and thrown everywhere. My breathing picked up with anger and worry. My eyes searched the room for any sign of anyone still here. Less than a minute later, we heard someone come in the door behind us. She jumped and I looked over my shoulder and saw cena and aj standing in the doorway with their eyes widened at the room. Aj slowly walked in and nodded for me to give her Cecily. I nodded and moved so she could take my place. I turned to cena who was still at the door,
"We heard the scream. She alright?"
"She's fine" I gritted clenching my fists at my side.
I have never been so angry in my life. I knew exactly who's handiwork this belonged to. A certain two toned haired troll is going to pay. I turned back to aj,
"Take her back to the car and call roman. Cena and I are gonna look around, make sure no one is still here"
She nodded and guided Cecily out of the room. I watched them leave trying to calm my breathing down, but my heart was pounding harder than it ever had before. I didn't understand it.
"Hey you alright?" John asked.
I was breathing heavily but I just grunted and we started searching the apartment. We had to climb over some furniture to get around. I made my way towards her room as john looked in the kitchen. My eyes scanned everywhere like a madman. I needed to punch something or I was gonna lose it and seeing the apartment was already destroyed, I punched hard into her wall. So hard it actually made a hole. John ran into the room immediately,
"Hey! You ok! You find someone?"
"No unfortunately" I grunted holding onto my now swollen hand.
Johns eyes went from my hand and to the hole in the wall and sighed. Guess he put two in two together.
"Ambrose" he sighed.
"Don't Ambrose me! He could've hurt her! He's gone too far this time!" I yelled.
"I don't think It was him this time" he said looking over my shoulder.
I about went off on him until I followed his eyes to her wall where in big black letters were the words
Cecily, we're here.
Suddenly the anger I had before grew even more as I gritted,"Wyatt's"
"What do they have to do with this?" John asked.
I turned to him and glared crazily,"Seth needed someone just as crazy as me to get what he wanted"
I didn't even give him time to answer as I stormed past him.
Cecily's pov
I sat on the apartment steps hugging my knees as aj paced back and forth on the phone with roman. I couldn't believe what has happened. I'm scared,no scratch that....I'm terrified. I should've never punched Seth. This is all my fault and now he knows where I live! Maybe I should just give him what he wants, let him knock me out cold. I deserve it. I'm bringing too many people into this. If they get hurt, that is on me. I jumped out of my thoughts when aj sat down beside me,
"Roman says he'll keep a lookout at work for him"
I nodded, but didn't make eye contact with her while hugging my knees closer to my body. She nudged me with her shoulder and smiled,
"Hey. You're gonna be ok. Dean won't let anything happen to you."
I looked over at her and said,"that's what I'm afraid of. He could get hurt because of me. Maybe I should just let Seth knock me out so this will all be over"
"No. You do not do that. Seth is just power crazy and he's trying to scare you to get what he wants." She said.
"And what does he want?" I asked.
"To ruin dean" she said.
"Why would knocking me out ruin dean?" I asked curiously.
"Deans had a rough life with not much support and not many friends. Now that he's found someone he cares about, Seth is going to use that to his advantage" she said.
My head snapped up to her smiling face. There was no way dean cared about me. He was only doing this because he felt responsible,
"Dean doesn't care about me aj. He just feels responsible, plus I've only known the man for a week and I'm a nobody."
"Trust me when I tell you he does. Everyone sees how he looks at you Cecily. I've known dean for about a year now and I've never seen him like this with anyone which is driving him crazy. You are far from a nobody to him."she smiled.
I searched her eyes seeing no sign of uncertainty or lies. My heart fluttered and I smiled at the woman who had been one of my greatest influences. I was about to reply when a black car with tinted windows pulled up on the other side of dean's car shining it's brights on me and aj. We immediately blocked our eyes from the light and aj stood up.
"Who is that?" I asked.
"I don't know" she replied.
Both of us peered through our hands trying to see who the driver was. Aj took a step towards the car as it crept towards us a little. Aj suddenly froze and said,
"Cecily get in the car"
I looked at her confused and then starred back at the car as it roared it's engine.
"Cecily now!" Aj yelled.
I didn't think twice and bolted into deans car with aj right behind me. We closed the doors and locked all of them. Aj gripped onto my shoulders protectively as we both starred down the car. I felt myself stArt shaking again. Where was dean and john? We heard the engine from the other car roar again and right before it started moving dean and cena ran out of the building causing the car to zoom out of here. Dean and cena watched the car leave and ran to the car, but the doors were locked.
"Cecily!" Dean yelled.
Aj immediately unlocked the doors and the men both jumped in the car. Dean looked in the back seat worriedly and had a look of what looked like relief in his eyes as he saw me,
"You alright?"
I nodded and cena asked,"who was that guy?"
"don't know, but I got the license plate" aj said.
"Good job" cena complimented.
"Yea and from now on Cecily you are not staying here. It's not safe" dean said.
My eyes widened," where am I supposed to stay?"
"You got any family?" He asked.
I shuttered and adverted my eyes to ground, shaking my head. I heard him sigh frustratedly.
"She can stay with me" aj smiled.
My head snapped up as I starred at aj shocked. She smiled back at me as john asked,
"You sure phil won't mind?"
My heart sank, Phil, as in cm punk Phil, as in one of my all time favorites. I felt like I was gonna be sick.
"Not at all, we'd be happy to have her" she smiled squeezing me.
"Good and it'll be better having two trained fighters with her 24/7" dean said.
"Until we get this all sorted out" cena added.
"Wait what about Mariah! She's supposed to be coming home in a few days" I asked.
Dean sighed," she isn't our problem"
My eyes widened and anger flew over me," what are you talking about? She could get hurt because of this!"
"She's right" cena said to dean.
Dean rubbed his hands over his face and sighed,"you're gonna have to call her, make her stay there."
I reluctantly nodded as dean started up the car and we drove off.
