"Little Homeschool" & "Blue Bird" but written differently.
3rd Person P.O.V.
Steven was going through the forest. He heard some loud thuds and it was causing a disturbance. He saw a cave and some boulders next to it. There's only one gem who is capable of doing that.
(Steven) Jasper.
He saw the brute on top of her cave.
(Jasper) Ugh! What do you want?
(Steven) I came here to ask you to stop with the noise.
She jumps down.
(Jasper) Why? Is it bothering you?
(Steven) No. It's bothering everyone else. What are the rocks for?
(Jasper) Training.
(Steven) Figures. It suits an oaf like you.
She rolled her eyes.
(Steven) Why are you training? There's no one left to fight.
(Jasper) There's always someone to fight. There's just no one left worth fighting.
(Steven) Wow, you fight for pride. Surprising.
He said with sarcasm.
(Jasper) You're not even worth fighting anymore.
(Steven) Is it because you know you can't win or because you can't find any excuses for last time?
Her eyes widened and she got angry.
(Jasper) Listen, runt--
(Steven) Jasper, you shouldn't talk to yourself like that.
(Jasper) Shut up! You may have defeated the Diamonds and persuaded them to be on your side, but I refuse to be on the same side as you!
(Steven) Jasper, you think I would let you on my side?
(Jasper) Isn't that what you do to gems you fight? Force them to be on your side?
(Steven) I give them the option to be on my side. Unlike you, I actually respect the gems I fight unless they're like you. Those gems deserved a second chance.
(Jasper) And I deserve something more than freedom.
(Steven) You deserve to be locked up for your crimes.
(Jasper) What crimes?
(Steven) During Era-2, you've committed felonies. Unwarranted fusion, imprisoning defective gems, ignoring your orders from your Diamond, and assault. You're lucky Era-3 pardons you. And for the record, I had the option to lock you away forever.
(Jasper) Why didn't you?
(Steven) I was giving you a second chance.
(Jasper) Should've known you were weak.
(Steven) It's not weakness, doofus. It's called compassion, something you clearly never heard of.
He went to walk away but he heard her chuckling.
(Steven) What's funny?
(Jasper) We're the same.
(Steven) Yeah, and Pink Diamond is a saint.
(Jasper) We are the same. You just don't know it yet.
(Steven) I do know that we're not the same. But I didn't know you were delusional.
(Jasper) Really? Why don't you name a few things that makes us different.
(Steven) One: I don't fight for sport. Two: I save others. Three: I don't shatter. Four: I believe in redemption. And Five: I'm smarter than you.
...
(Steven) I can keep going.
(Jasper) Just leave! I've heard enough.
He was leaving. As he was leaving, he spoke,
(Steven) Whatever you're doing, drop it. It won't be worth it.
Two days later
Steven was coming home. He saw that a party was starting. A new gem must arrived. He walked inside.
(Amethyst) Yo, dude, come introduce yourself.
(Steven) Welcome to Earth. My name's--
(???) Well, well, well, if it ain't the old gem savior himself, Steven Universe!
This gem said with a cockney accent. It's a fusion of an aquamarine and a ruby. He knows who they are.
(???) Bluebird Azurite, at your service! All right, give us a hug then!
She hugged him, he was getting uncomfortable.
(Bluebird) Oh, you like food, yeah?
(Steven) ...Sure...
(Bluebird) Well, sit tight, then. I'll be right back.
She flew off.
(Pearl) She just got here and is already exploring Earth cuisine.
She came back.
(Steven) What is this?
(Bluebird) Just some old Earth things. Clams, peanut butter, and a side of fresh cut grass. Please enjoy it. I'm begging you, please.
(Steven) Not hungry. No thanks.
(Bluebird) C'mon, please!
(Amethyst) I'll eat it.
She devoured everything on that plate, including the plate itself.
(Steven) Would you excuse me?
(Bluebird) Where ya going?
(Steven) I need some time alone for a moment.
(Bluebird) Oh, okay, then. You will be back, right?
(Steven) In a moment.
He went upstairs to his room. He was grabbing a device, something that'll be useful for him later, maybe. He came back downstairs after concealing the item he grabbed.
(Bluebird) Steven Univere. I got something for you.
She gave him a can of soda. Before he opened it, he felt something odd in the can. He knew what it was. He went off the sink and opened the can away from his face and exploded.
Some of it got on hin.
(Bluebird) How'd that 'appen?
(Steven) That is a good question. But we may never know.
He rolled his eyes and left to go upstairs and into his room.
The next day.
Steven's paranoia restricts him from believing this fusion is a good gem. They seemed genuine and was being nice to the gems and his father. Last night, she was watching a movie with him.
When he woke up and got ready for the day he heard screaming. He bursts out the front door and spots the fusion dangling Greg on top of the roof.
(Steven) I knew it...
(Bluebird) An era ago, there were two gems, celebrated for bringing in an informant of Homeworld's greatest traitor, but then they were cast out, forgotten, when the informant duped all of Homeworld into fearing him instead! Now they've come to Earth for their revenge! And forever shall he tue the names...
She unfused.
(Aquamarine) Aquamarine!
(Eyeball) And Ruby! It's always been us and you never knew!
(Steven) Yes, I did.
(Eyeball) Then, why didn't you attack us then, huh?
(Steven) Because I didn't have a reason to. And you should keep it that way for your own good...
(Aquamarine) Enough talking!
She grabbed Greg by his hair and Eyeball had her dagger close to his throat.
(Steven) Let him go! If you hurt him, I'll make you sorry that you stepped foot on this planet.
(Aquamarine) We know how much you value him, if you want him to be unharmed, you must meet our demands. Bubble your friends, destroy your house, and burn Little Homeworld to the ground!
(Eyeball) Do it!
(Steven) Never!
(Aquamarine) Then, he gets it!
(Greg) That's enough!
He snatched her dagger and roughly cut his hair to release him from Aquamarine's grip. He fell but Steven caught him before he hit the ground. Aquamarine was disgusted by his dead hair.
(Aquamarine) Ugh, disgusting!
She threw it to the ground and his Dad crawled to it and was sobbing. Steven looked up back at the two troublemakers and gave them an angry glare.
(Aquamarine) Uh oh!
(Eyeball) Run!
(Aquamarine) No! We have to fuse in order to beat him.
They fused and grabbed a sword from their gem(s).
(Bluebird) Come at me!
Steven climbed his way up to the roof and was avoiding the blade of her sword. It is difficult to someone who is wielding a sword without armor. Although, he does has that item he grabbed yesterday when he met Bluebird but he plans on using it when he has no other choice.
She zoomed towards him but he ducked, grabs her ankle and threw her forward. She hits the ground but he quickly picks her up to punch her back to the ground again. He kicks her off the roof and she lands roughly on the sand.
He jumps off and went for the offense but she flies backwards to avoid his brutal punches. She grabs another sword and was wielding one sword in each hand. She wildly swings her swords at him and he backs up to not get cut.
He kicks her away from and wasted no time grabbing her head to slam it into his knee, avoiding their gems, and sent them flying back.
(Bluebird) Oh. Bullocks! Gotta retreat!
She attempts to fly away. Steven grabs the item from his pocket. It was a copy of the finished device that Yellow Diamond worked on.
She adjusted the size of the weapon so he can conceal it from everyone else. He retrieved it the day he and Jasper argued. He fires a destabilization blast at Bluebird and poofs her.
Their gemstones fell but he caught them and pocketed them. Now, he has ten minutes to deal with them or else they'll reform and cause havoc again. He went to his father.
(Steven) I'm sorry, Dad.
(Greg) It's... (sniffs) It's alright, son. Did you get them?
He shows him the gemstones.
(Greg) What are you going to do to them?
(Steven) I'm going to lock them up.
(Greg) For cutting my hair? That's a bit extreme.
(Steven) Not exactly what my intentions were for. They'll be charged with assault and attempted murder. I can add the hair loss for damaging personal item.
(Greg) Heh, you do that.
(Steven) You going to be okay?
(Greg) Yeah, it's just... I wasn't planning on losing my hair so soon.
(Steven) I'm sorry. I should've stopped them when I first saw them.
(Greg) It's okay, Steven. You tried giving them a chance. I'm proud of you for trying to bury the hatchet. Even though they still turned out bad, at least you gave 'em an opportunity.
(Steven) Now, they'll be locked away for a long time, so they won't hurt anyone else.
Later
Steven locked the two gems in separate cells on Homeworld. These cells were specifically made to make it impossible for a gem to escape unless someone lets them out. Hopefully, they stay put and serve their sentence.
