It was December 31st... which means that everyone was busy buying fireworks or other kinds of ingridients and foods.
Today, the S.O.S. (Special Operations Squad) were all in the HQ, which was almost empty since either the others are with their families of just hanging out with each other at others places.
"So yeah, We're gonna have Grahams (A/N: Oh man, My Favorite *^▁^*), Fruit Salads, Hams, Ice Creams, Some hot teas and chocos, Corden Blue, Mojos, French fries, Chickens and everything else you want..."
"Cool!"
"Now let's get to work, chop chop!!"
All of them had gotten to work, they were planning on making a fabulous (A/N: Fabulous!!! XD) feast, making sure that they have more than enough appetizers, main course and desserts for all of them to go around for...
Although, a certain cadet and corporal were not present in helping
"Hey... Have any of you guys seen (Y/N)?" Jean asked
"Also the corporal?" Eren asked too
All of them looked at each other and shrugged
"I don't really know... it's weird knowing that the 2 of them are always the earliest one to wake up among all of us..." Mikasa said as she chopped some carrots
"Shhhh..." Hanji silenced them and then she quickly turned off the stove
"What the hel--" Hanji covered jean's mouth as she signalled everybody to listen...
They could here some faint voices... which seems like someone... or someones... were fighting..?
"I told you, that's not it!"
"Then what?! Is it because of Kirschtein?! Or maybe Jaeger?! Who is it, tell me! And I'll see what you saw in them what you can't see in me!"
They heard cries before a female voice shouted
"I JUST CAN'T TAKE YOU ANYMORE!!! I... LET'S JUST GET THIS OVER WITH AND JUST FUCKIN BREAK UP!"
They heard a slam of a door before they hurriedly turned on the stove again and went back to cooking, acting like nothing happened...
The door in the kitchen (where they're all in) opened softly as they heard muffled sobbings and cries. From outside the door came in (Y/N). Her eyes were red and puffy.
"(Y/N)!! What happened?!" Hanji asked as she gave everyone a look saying 'just-play-with-it' which they all agreed to...
"H-heichou... W-we... broke up!!" You said between sobs
"What?! Is he-- oh God... That idiot..!" They all screeched in unison, but mumbled the last part
You didn't know what to do now, Levi was now gone from your life, you couldn't leave without him! But...
You looked up and saw everyone wearing a sad worried faces.
You had to be strong for their sake, after all, they all decided that they would spend new year together as a team...
You promped yourself up and wiped you tears and fixed yourself before you smiled brightly at them...
"I-it's ok, I'm fine... I can do things without levi. It's not like he's my life or something.." You plastered a pretty bright smile on your tearstained cheeks
You gestured for them to go back to work as you helped them...
~Time Skip~
It was 11:00 in the evening, everyone was inside waiting for the clock to strike at 11:55 before they will go out and wait outside to light the fireworks at exactly 12:00 midnight.
You, on the other hand, went outside to get some fresh cool air. You sat at a nearby tree and hugged your knees...
"Levi..."
You said as you began to cry, pouring all of your sad emotion with every tear that feel from your eyes.
You felt somebody else's prescencefrom behind you. You quickly stood up but suddenlysomeone hugged you from behind. You immidietly knew who it was...
"Get away from me"
"No"
You took deep breath and forcefully broke jean's grip on you, you quickly turn around and was about to slap him when suddenly... Jean was kicked to the side and was sent stumbling atleast a meter or 2 away from you
"Kirschtein! Explain what you were doing with Cadet (L/N) or else tommorow, you'll be cleaning the entire HQ 5 TIMES!!!"
Jean's eyes widened as he rapidly shakes his arms infront of him as if indicating that it was a misunderstanding...
"Explain!"
"Ha-hai!! It wasactually all Squad leader hanji's fault or plan! S-she told me to do that s-so that you guys'll be together again!! I'm sorry!!!" He said between stutters as levi was shooting daggers at him
"Jean" You said calmly as you helped him up, which he gladly took. You felt levi's stare or glare intensify as jean weakly smiled at you. You suddenly kicked him right on the balls (A/N: Damn! Y/N's a badass!!!)
Jean layed across on the grassy plain, clutching at his 'dear life'
You heard levi chuckle before a pair of arms draped around your waist before bringing you closer to levi...
"Gomen" (A/N: It means 'sorry') He whispered in your ear, sending shivers down your spine
You sniled abd snuggled in his embrace, a warm smile was plastered on your face...
"Will you be mine...again?" Levi asked
"..." You didn't answer, you heard levi sigh as he gently let go of you and walked away... before he can have a meter of distance away from you, you quickly took his hands and spun him around before you kissed him
"I was joking"
"Oh? You might have forgotten, I'am still you corporal, right?"
You flinched "Uh-oh..."
"Very well then, stay with me until the fireworks ends and I'll give you your punishment"
You sighed and smiled sweetly at him, some things just never change, but that's what makes that thing special...
You both went inside and waited until the firework show started, and when it did, well, it was a sight worth seeing...
~Time Skip~
You both layed under the covers, snuggled closely to each other
"Happy New Year (Y/N)"
"Happy New Year to you too... Levi"
...
"Does your punishment for me ALWAYS have to be like... ummm.. this?"
"Well, It's only for you cause I can't let you do chores because that'll lessen the time you have with me more than it already is... and it makes me relaxed... you know, with you by my side" Levi said as a tint of red was visible on his face.
You giggled befire you kissed him once again.
"I love you levi"
"I love you more (Y/N)"
"I can see that" You giggled once more but this time quietly
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Oh~ who knows?"
"Tch, brat"
You both snuggled to each other closer before drifting into sleep...
