Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca have all arrived in Florida last night to be able to attend Grandma Janice's viewing and funeral service today.
Right now, RJ is helping Luca, Theodore and Benji get dressed, while Will is doing Harlow, Averie and Coralei's hair!
*Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca's outfits*
"Papi! Are we gonna see Gwrandma today?" Theodore asks RJ happily.
"We are going to see Grandma. Just her body though." RJ says softly to Theodore, even though Theodore doesn't fully understand because he is only three years old.
"Will she look sick, Papi?" Benji asks RJ, understanding more about funerals since he is the oldest of the kids.
"She will look like she is sleeping in bed. She will have a pretty dress on and her hair that she has will be all done and pretty. She won't have her glasses on though. Her body will feel cold but that is normal. And don't worry, she isn't going to jump out and scare you. Her spirit isn't in her body anymore." RJ says to Benji.
"Yeah, her spirit is in heaven now." Benji says with a grin and RJ nods back at him.
Just then, Harlow runs into the room holding her black dress up in the air, not understanding that's not "lady like".
"Harlow Bear, put your dress down!" RJ says as she giggles with her paci in her mouth.
Coralei and Averie both walk into the room behind Harlow happily and they are holding each other's hands.
"You three girls look sooo pretty in your matching dresses!" RJ says happily to Coralei, Averie and Harlow.
"Thank you, Papi!" Coralei and Averie both say in unison to RJ with big smiles.
"Fank you!" Harlow says as she hugs RJ tightly.
"You're welcome!" RJ says to Coralei, Averie and Harlow.
Will walks out of the bedroom and looks in the mirror and fixes his bow tie. Will then puts his black jacket on.
"You might not need the jacket, babe. It is hot as balls outside." RJ says as he picks up Luca from his swing and holds him while Will shrugs his shoulders.
"This is my first funeral that I can remember. I'll take it off though." Will says to RJ softly.
"Well, keep it with you because it is going to be cold in there." RJ says as Luca coos loudly, making Will and RJ both smile.
Luca makes grabby hands and babbles up to Will and RJ.
Will picks up Luca and kisses Luca's cheeks, making Luca smile.
"Hi, baby boy. You look so cute." Will says as he fixes Luca's crazy baby hair.
"Daddy, we see gwrandma! We see gwrandma!" Theodore says happily to Will as he hugs his leg.
Benji, Coralei and Averie all understand what death means but they have never been to a funeral but Theodore and Harlow have no understanding in it and Luca is just a baby and doesn't understand anything either.
Will then checks his iPhone to see what time it is.
"We need to leave soon." Will says softly to RJ and RJ nods.
"Kids, let's all load up in the car!" RJ says as Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all walk outside to the car.
"The kids have a lot of questions. Bubba, Cora and Avy get what death means but Teddy and Harlow just don't get it. I don't want them to be scared." RJ says to Will in a whisper and Will nods.
"We can talk to them about it during the drive to the funeral home." Will says as RJ nods in agreement.
"I love you." RJ says softly to Will.
"I love you too." Will says as he hugs RJ and they kiss each other a few times before going outside with the kids.
RJ and Will both get in the car and help the kids buckle in before RJ begins to drive to Adams Funeral Home.
Will then turns to the kids, who are all in the back seat.
"Hey guys, do any of you have questions before we get to the funeral home, so Papi and I can help you understand a little better? I don't want any you to be scared." Will says to Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow.
"I wanna hug Gwrandma!" Theodore says happily.
"You won't be able to hug her." RJ says to Theodore.
"Why?" Theodore asks Will and RJ
"Because she is in heaven now!" Averie says with a big smile at Theodore.
"Yeah! Grandma is an angel in heaven!" Coralei says to Theodore and Theodore frowns sadly
"Oh.." Theodore says with sadness.
"Teddy, Grandma is not in her body anymore. She is in heaven now. Her body stays here on Earth while her spirit goes to heaven. We are just seeing her body and saying goodbye. It will look like she is sleeping but she isn't." Will says trying to explain to the three year old.
"Who is going to be here today?" Coralei asks Will and RJ.
"Let's see! Nana, Pop, Uncle Logan, Auntie Erin, Uncle Jacob, Auntie Sharon, Uncle Larry, Jeff, Brannon, Cayson, Corbin, Connor, baby Crew, Mallory, Derek, Josie, Davis, Myles, Pipo, Mima, Auntie Brandi and Uncle Ryan. Oh and Grandma's sister Vonice." Will says to Coralei.
"Oh cool!" Coralei says happily.
"We are seeing everyone! That's nice!" Benji says with a big smile.
"It is nice that we all get to be together to celebrate Grandma Janice's life!" RJ says as Will nods in agreement and holds his hand.
RJ, Will, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all talk through out the twenty five minute drive to Adams Funeral Home.

RJ, Will, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca have made it to the funeral home!
"Daddy, can I hold your hand?" Coralei asks Will.
"Of course you can hold my hand, Cora. Bubba, can you hold Averie's hand please?" Will says and Benji happily holds Averie's hand.
RJ holds Harlow and Theodore's hands while Will holds Luca with one hand and holding Coralei's hand with the other as they all walk to the funeral home.
"We all have to be quiet in the funeral home okay?" RJ says to all of the kids softly.
The kids all nod and the funeral director walks up to them.
"Are you the family of Janice?" The funeral director asks Will and RJ.
"Yes, we are." RJ says softly to the funeral director.
"Right this way please!" The funeral director says as she walks Will, RJ and the kids over to the viewing room.
The funeral director opens the door and they all steps in and Will tears up at the sight of the casket with his Grandma inside.
The kids see a lot of their family members there and they all wave at the kids, Will and RJ.
"Do you wanna walk up there first, baby?" RJ asks Will softly and Will nods.
"Will you come with me? I need you.." Will says softly to RJ.
"Of course I can! Hey guys, why don't you say hi to Nana and Pop! They haven't seen you guys in almost two months." RJ says as Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all walk over to Karen and Hank.
RJ hands Luca to Karen to hold and then he and Will walk over to the casket together.
Tears fall down Will's cheeks as he slowly grabs his Grandma's cold hand.
RJ rubs Will's shoulders and kisses him.
"She is wearing the dress she wore when we got married." RJ says, reminiscing with Will and Will nods.
"S-she looks beautiful." Will says in a whisper.
"She sure does." RJ says softly to Will.
Will hugs RJ tightly and RJ hugs Will back.
"Should the kids see her too?" Will asks RJ softly.
"Yeah, let's bring them over. Looks like your mom and stepdad are explaining things to them." RJ says to Will with a grin.
Will and RJ both walk over to the kids.
"Hey kiddos, do you want go see Grandma now?" Will asks Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow.
Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all nod up at Will and RJ.
"I'll hold Luca for you guys." Karen says softly as she happily rocks him making Will and RJ smile.
Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all walk over to the casket and stare at Grandma Janice.
"Grandma dress is really pretty." Coralei says softly to Will and RJ.
"It is pretty, isn't it? She wore that dress when Daddy and I got married." RJ says to Coralei.
"Oooo!" Coralei, Averie and Harlow all say in unison to RJ happily.
Benji begins to tear up and cry and Will hugs him tightly.
"It's okay, bubba. It's okay." Will says softly to Benji as Benni cries.
Benji hugs Will tightly and continues to cry once the concept of death sets in, realizing his great grandmother isn't coming back.
"Can I touch her?" Theodore asks Will and RJ softly.
"Yes, you can touch her hand. It's okay." RJ says as Theodore softly rubs Grandma's Janice's arms and frowns.
"She is cold!" Theodore says to Will and RJ.
"She is cold. Her body isn't working anymore so that's why it is cold and stiff like that." RJ explains to Theodore.
"Oh!" Theodore says to RJ.
"Grandma doesn't have her glasses!" Averie says to Will and RJ as Will nods at Averie.
"She doesn't have her glasses, baby. I know it is different." Will says to Averie.
"Daddy? Papi? Is Grandma in heaven?" Coralei asks a Will and RJ and Will nods.
"She is, sweet pea." Will says with a small grin.
"That's good!" Corslei says and Averie nods in agreement.
"She is an angel in heaven and she is looking down at all of us." RJ says with a big grin at all of the kids.
Just then, Karen walks over with Luca in her arms and he is fast asleep.
Karen rubs Benji's back and then Will's back.
"Nana! Grandma is an angel in heaven now!" Averie says happily to Karen.
"Yeah! A pretty angel!" Coralei says to Karen with a smile.
"She sure is, girls." Karen says with a grin at Coralei and Averie.
Will holds his grandma's hand and whispers soft words to her even though she can't hear them.
"Hey guys, let's give Daddy and Nana some time. Look! Mima and Pipo are here!" RJ says as he, Luca, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all walk over to his parents, Ricardo and Martha.
Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all happily talk with Mima, Pipo, Uncle Ryan and Auntie Brandi while Will and Karen have time at the casket.
"I am the glad the kids are doing okay about this." Karen says as she hugs Will tightly.
"Yeah, they are doing better then I thought they would. Benji is taking it really hard though." Will says softly.
"That's understandable. He spent a lot of time with Grandma then the other five did. Cayson and Corbin are taking it hard too." Karen says to Will.
"How are you and Aunt Sharon doing?" Will asks Karen softly.
"I think Aunt Sharon is taking it harder then me." Karen says to Will and Will nods.
"Aw, RJ's family came." Will says softly with a small grin.
"That is so sweet that they are here. They sent gorgeous flowers too." Karen says to Will and Will smiles
"I am so glad Grandma isn't in pain anymore." Will says to Karen and Karen nods.
"Me too. Me too." Karen says as she rubs Will's back.
Will wipes more tears away from his face.
"I wish I got to spend more time with her. It isn't fair. She was my best friend, she was there for me when no one else was for me when growing up. She taught me everything I know since before I even started going to school. We did everything together. It isn't fair she is gone. I know she is not in pain but it hurts to think about memories. They say time is supposed to heal but I don't think I'll ever be okay." Will says to Karen.
"Me either, son. Me either. We will heal from this but we will always miss her." Karen says as she hugs Will tightly.
Will and Karen walk away from the casket and they both begin to greet family members with the kids.
Just then, Janice's sister Vonice walks over to RJ, Luca, Will and Karen.
"Hello, Aunt Vonice! It is so nice to see you!" Karen says as she hugs Vonice.
"Hello! It is nice to see you, hon! And is this, Will? Oh my goodness! I haven't seen you in ages!" Vonice says to Karen and Will.
"Yes, this is Will! And this is his husband RJ! They have six children." Karen says proudly.
"Oh a big family! That is perfect!" Vonice says to Karen.
"Hello, Aunt Vonice. It is so good to see you." Will says as he hugs Vonice.
"Hello!" RJ says to Vonice.
"Hello, boys! It is so good to see you all again! Last time I saw you guys, you were youngins in college!" Vonice says, making Will and RJ both laugh.
"This is our youngest son, Luca!" RJ says as Vonice admires the small baby and rubs his cheek.
"Oh, so precious! He looks like Will!" Vonice says to Will and RJ making Will giggle.
"Kiddos! Come here! We want you to meet Grandma Janice's sister!" RJ says happily.
"This is Averie. This is Benjamin. This is Coralei. This is Harlow. And this is Theodore!" Will says to his Aunt Vonice.
The kids smile and one by one meet Vonice.
"All of them are so precious!" Vonice says as RJ and Will both happily nods in agreement.
After the viewing is over, the ceremony begins for the funeral service.
The funeral director comes over to the casket.
"It is not time for the service. I have to close the casket now." The funeral director says softly.
Everybody watches the funeral director close the casket slowly.
Will bursts into complete sobs and holds onto RJ tightly and RJ hugs him tightly. Benji begins to cry and Karen comforts him.
The funeral service begins and it lasts an hour.
After the funeral service, everybody loads up on their cars and follows the hearse to the cemetery.
After a ten minute ride to the cemetery, everyone gets out of their cars and walks to the grave spot where Grandma Janice will be.
"Daddy, dats a hole!" Theodore says loudly as Will nods.
"It is, bud. It won't be very much longer." Will says softly.
Will and RJ sit down next to each other in the family seats. Luca is sitting on Will's lap while Harlow is sitting on RJ's lap.
"Theodore, do you wanna sit on my lap?" RJ asks Theodore.
"Uh huh!" Theodore says with a big grin.
"Cora, Avy and Bubba, stand by Pop and Pipo." Will says to the three older kids.
The pallbearers place the casket on the machine that lowers it and removes the flower bouquet. The priest then says a prayer and then the pallbearers begin lowering the casket.
"Here are some flowers for the kids!" Mallory says as she hands six flowers to Will and RJ.
All of the kids watch the casket go down into the ground
Will wipes tears off his cheeks and frowns at RJ. RJ smiles and softly kisses Will.
Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all throw their flowers on the casket making Will's heart melt.
Will smiles through tears and takes two flowers and hands one to RJ. They both move closer and drop them on the casket together.
After the funeral service is over, Will, RJ and the kids all join the rest of the family for a family luncheon 👼🏼
