Grian tossed and turned in his bed. It was hard to sleep tonight, The reason? Mumbo jumbo.
What's wrong with me? It's just some stupid crush after all. Why is it eating me alive?
Grian thought.
Earlier, Mumbo may or may not have kissed Grian. As a dare of course. Grian wished beyond anything that it was real That he did it for the sake of loving him. He gave up trying to sleep and instead flew up to the top of his base. Staring out across the water to Mumbo's base, He fantasized about how it would feel to be Mumbo's Boyfriend. He fell asleep soon enough, His knees tucked into his chest.

Grian woke up, his eyes struggling to open. Waking up on the roof startled him a little bit. But he got used to it fast. Grian went about his normal routine, Breakfast, Change into his red jumper. He equipped his elytra and flew to Sahara. They had a meeting at 10 am today. Grian landed in the meeting room through the hole in the glass. He was early by about 5 minutes and decided to check the stock room. He opened the door and saw something he could have gone a lifetime without seeing.
There Mumbo was. With Iskall. Arms wrapped around Mumbo's neck. Grian felt like crying.
Dammit. Why iskall?
Grian cursed the swede in his mind.
He turned around and launched into the air, not daring to look back. He started to tear up a bit, but he wasn't sure if it was from the wind in his eyes or from the genuine pain he was feeling. Both in his mind and physically.
Grian flew back to his base, Landing in the infinity room. He sat in his quartz chair staring into the abyss. Lost in his own mind. Mumbo Jumbo, His crush for 6 years, With Iskall, His fellow architech and friend. Grian wanted to be strong, He wanted to pretend it didn't phase him. But he couldn't. Instead, He cried until he couldn't breath. As soon as he finished he left the infinity room. Eyes still stinging. To his surprise there he was, The devil. Mumbo Jumbo. And Grian almost didn't notice that iskall was standing there too. He wondered if they heard him cry.
"...Gria-" Mumbo started
"Don't" Grian interrupted. "I don't want to hear it. If being together makes you two happy then so be it"
They look at him in shock. Mumbo pulls Grian in for a hug.
"No, Stupid. Iskall was helping me practice what to do when I see you again..ya know, After uhm, the kiss" Mumbo started. "I'm not the best at flirting ya see, and he seemed to be pretty smooth since it landed iskall with stress"
Grian sniffed. He looked Mumbo dead in the eyes and knew, He wasn't lying. Iskall laughed and decided it would be best to leave.
He flew out of Grian's base. Leaving the two alone. They Flew to the atrium where the moon was dead in the middle of the sky, Shining perfectly through the hole in the roof of Grians base. Mumbo turned to Grian. He took Grian's chin into his hand. Turning Grian's head toward him he planted a kiss on the red sweatered boy's lips. A real kiss. A perfect one. Under the Moonlight.
