=beijing, Xiao Xin industries, Cheng's office room=
Zhuo cheng got up from his seat and slowly made his way towards the huge long windows which covered one whole giant wall of the room,ceiling to floor. He stared at the view of the city from on high. His mind was full of worry for his brother. Not only because of the fact that his brother is sick but also for the fact that zhan asked him not to tell anything to their parents. Cheng knew that his mother might not be able to find out...but his father. His father was smart and he too, just like cheng , will be suspicious about zhan. Zhan called his father almost everyday. But the calling abruptly stopped after zhan got sick and was determined not to call his parents so as to not let them know that he is sick. His father wont call zhan like Cheng did but send snitches to shanghai to secretly check on his son. Cheng cant let that happen. His father may be angry with zhan for being so foolish but the worry will overpower the anger and all three of his sons hate to see their father who his a warm gentle yet really strong man, break down. Cheng rubbbed his temples.
"Pls, make zhan get well quickly before dad finds out. I hope wang yibo is able to take care of him." Cheng said while praying to the heavens. At the mention of wang yibo he remembered that he had asked his assistant to gather information on that boy. Cheng somehow felt like he heard that name before. But can't remember where he heard the name. His assistant should be here any moment with the information. He went back to his seat and resumed his working. After 20mins he heard a soft knock on the door.
"Come in." Cheng said and closed the file he was looking at. The door opened and cheng's assistant, Li bowen entered.
"Sir, i have gathered information on Mr. Wang yibo as u asked." Bowen said. Cheng smiled, satisfied.
"Good. Go on. Tell what you have found out" Cheng said and leaned back on his chair. Bowen cleared his throat and spoke.
"Wang yibo is from beijing but is currently in shanghai for his studies. He is the son of Wang qiren and his wife Carman lee. They own the really big company Wang groups---" Bowen was cut off by Cheng.
"Wang Qiren?! Dad's best friend!?!?" Cheng asked shocked. He knew who was Wang Qiren. Dad told him about him. Dad and Mr. Wang were really good friends from a young age.
"Yes sir. Wang Qiren and your father Mr. Lu jian min are close friends. U might also remember that six months back Xiao xin industries and Wang groups signed partnership?" Bowen asked.
"Yes. I was there during the meeting. Wang qiren's eldest son, i believe is called Liu haikuan, right? He was present when dad and Mr. Wang signed the deal. He was also my classmate...." Cheng said as he started to remember his old friend Hai kuan. But he never saw much of wang yibo. Though he heard hai kuan mention his brother's name a few times.
"Yes sir. Mr. Liu haikuan is wang yibo's elder brother who is two years older than yibo. He is currently the ceo of wang groups while wang qiren is the chairman. Same like u. U r the ceo of our industries while ur father is the chairman." Bowen said
"OK....continue with the information." Cheng said
"Wang yibo is 19 years old. He looks very cold and arrogant but really handsome but no matter how many girls propose for his attention he shoos them away. He has a best friend called Yu bin. He stays alone in a house in a shanghai. But currently he is staying with Mr. Xiao Zhan as he is sick. From the information i gathered, i figured out that yibo is normally really cold but whenever he is with ur brother his aura seem to be more warmer and cheerful." Bowen said. A slight smirk appeared on cheng's lips.
"Wang yibo is also said to be a professional motorbike racer and has won many races. He has a weird hobby of collecting different kinds of bike helmets. He also finds interest in skateboarding. He is also good at basketball." Bowen finshed and closed his file.
"Nice work....." Cheng said and leaned back.
" thanks sir."
"Btw Bowen....make sure my father doesn't find out about zhan's health condition." Cheng added sternly.
"Don't worry sir. And yeah u have a meeting at 2pm. I'll take my leave now." Bowen said and left the office. Cheng processed everything he heard and sighed. But soon a smile appeared on his lips.
"Seems like my lil bro will soon have fixer-upper conditions....but nothing matters as long as he is happy and content and that yibo takes good care of him and protects him." Cheng said and smiled widely. He then took out his phone and called someone to have a long heart-to-heart talk with an old lost best friend.
"Hello hai kuan? Its cheng. Long time no see, buddy"

*Wang yibo pov*
Yibo fluttered his eyes open and squinted them as the room was bathed in morning sunlight. His eyes adjusted to the light and he looked down at the man he had his arms wrapped around as if his life depended on it. He was dazzled by zhan's innocent sleeping face. His expression looked peaceful yet contented. His lips were positioned in a slight pout. Now that zhan's face was so near to his, yibo took a whole damn minute to look at his face, taking note of every single detail. His fair skin, beautiful lush black hair which covered half the side of his forehead, sharp jawlines and brilliantly shaped and perfect pink lips and for a finishing touch, a small mole at the bottom of his lips. Yibo's eyes scanned every inch of zhan's face, as if trying to memorize everything single small details. It took a while for yibo to realize that zhan's hand was also wrapped tightly around his torso. He smiled. His heart was fluttering madly. He wondered to himself while staring intensely at the angelic face, why does his whole body, heart and brain seems to be taking control of his emotions? Why does he always seem to be in such carefree mood while being with this man before him? Why can't he maintain his usual cold and stoic self while he is with zhan? Why does his real inner self breaks through the unreal and made up cold mask he made to wear at all times whenever he looks at zhan? He has a normal, caring, carefree and cheerful self hidden deep inside his heart, masked by the arrogant expression he decided to wear so that no one would approach him...only to break his heart yet again. It wasn't that difficult to wear a stone face expression at all times ....until he saw Xiao zhan. When he saw this boy for the first time infront of the campus, he felt frustrated at himself, because the moment he saw him, his inner emotions and self were fighting inside him to break through. That night he went home, unable to sleep, his mind having a battle with his heart. He felt irritated and still battled for a whole week until he realized that he had already lost the battle. His heart took dominance over his chaotic mind. He decided that he will go according to his heart's content. And sure enough...the moment he decided to let go of all his defense...the word XIAO ZHAN was the only thing he could think of. He decided to let it go as it wills and soon found out that his guts were submissive to his heart and a foreign desire to protect and care for the angelic man rose inside him and also found out that his real inner self only broke through when he was around zhan....and let it be as it was as he was curious about this strange feeling he did not felt since the first love of his life was wiped away from this world. He decided to surrender to his heart to see where this would lead him and see how much confused he becomes.
"What the hell are u doing to me, Xiao Zhan....." Yibo softly whispered and then sighed. He gently removed zhans hand around him and got up. He checked zhan's temperature.
"99°c......god...why does the fever rise and falls..?" Yibo said and kept the thermometer back on the bedside table. He tucked zhan securely inside the duvet and got up. He took his clothes from his bag and went inside the bathroom to freshen up and have a quick shower.
After showering he looked at the still sleeping zhan and smiled. He went downstairs too make breakfast for zhan and himself.
*Xiao zhan POV*
Zhan fluttered his eyes open and was blinded by the sunlight coming through his curtains. He didn't feel any headache but was still dizzy and feverish. He raised his palm over to his forehead and sighed. It was still hot. He noticed the thermometer beside his bed and realized that yibo had checked his temperature. At the thought of yibo he sprang up as last nights memory flashed back. He felt colour rise to his face and face palmed.
He slowly got up and heard sizzling sound from downstairs as yibo made breakfast. He smiled and went inside the bathroom. He freshened up and had a shower. He got dressed and proceeded to make his way down the stairs. He very slowly and carefully descended, tightly holding the banister. He felt dizzy but controlled himself so as to not fall from the stairs and cause another trouble. He finally succeeded and sighed in relief as he gently walked to the kitchen. He smiled as he saw yibo cooking with his back turned to him. The scene reminded him of his mother. He smiled more widely. He decided not to call yibo and waited till he noticed him. But after some time, a light cough escaped from him before he could control himself. Yibo turned back with wide eyes.
"YOU CLIMBED DOWN THE STAIRS BY URSELF!?!? I TOLD U NOT TO!" Yibo said angrily and made zhan sit on the chair in the dining table.
"Jeez yibo im fine...seriously." Zhan said and scratched his nape awkwardly. Yibo huffed.
"Still. U still have a fever and by the look on ur face i can understand that u r still feeling dizzy. And even though the cold has subsided a bit, its still there and a little carelessness can make u ill again. What if u fell down the stairs?! What would i do then? I can't see u in pain then u already are! Ur brother is going to hunt me down and send me to the fiery pits of hades." Yibo said but soon sighed as he saw zhan's awkward face.
"Sorry...." Zhan said and yibo's heart clenched.
"Dont do it again. Next time call me from up there if u need to. Wait----why are u smiling..?" Yibo said and tilted his head as he saw a small smile curve on the zhan's face
"Ur exactly like my father......" Zhan said and grinned with his bunny smile. Yibos heart fluttered and he too smiled.
"Mabye i am....." Yibo said and both of them laughed hard.
"Come on let me feed u. U need to eat to eat ur medicines as well.'' Yibo said and sat beside zhan with his food and started to feed him. After few minutes zhan spoke.
"Yibo...its boring at home....i want to go somewhere out...."zhan said. Yibo sighed. Surely staying at home was surely boring. Zhan needed to go out too. Fresh air will be good for him and will help healing him fast.
"OK....where do u want to go. I will take u." Yibo said
''To the seaside" zhan said. " its not to crowded and is beautiful enough to make me feel better. I love the sea side."
Yibo sighed. He knew zhan loved the beach.
"OK. We will go there around 4pm." Yibo said
"Yayyyy!!!!!" Zhan shouted and threw his arms around yibo and hugged him tight while muttering thank you. Yibo was taken back by the sudden reflex but soon smiled and hugged back the oversized bunny. He felt delighted seeing zhan so happy.
