Connor Jade Terranove ran through the forests of D'Qar, with his green-bladed lightsaber in hand. He could not see, as he had a blindfolded helmet on his head that covered his eyes, so the only way to see is to rely on the Force to be aware of his surroundings. Connor took off his helmet and threw it on the ground before took a few deep breaths, before running towards his left and through trees and bushes. Connor then saw another figure handling a cyan-bladed lightsaber. This figure took off their helmet, revealing a feminine face. It was Jayden Visa, his girlfriend and master. They were ready to fight.
"You weren't supposed to take that helmet off." Jayden said.
"Yeah, I don't care!" Connor yelled as he launched forward at Jayden. He did a thrusting stab, Jayden blocked. Jayden slashed at Connor, but he blocked back. The two Jedi clashed sabers a few more times before Connor grabbed Jayden's arm and kicked her to the ground. Connor then pointed his green blade at Jayden's neck.
"You're getting better at this." Jayden said as she deacivated her lightsaber.
"I hope I am." Connor said as he deacivated his lightsaber and grabbed Jayden's hand to help her up from the ground. Just after that, they both heard rustling noises in the bushes and trees. It got louder and louder until Connor activated his green lightsaber once again to see what this figure was. It was Aaron Obyonek, a good friend of both Connor and Jayden, as well as a member of the Shield Squadron.
"Whoawhoawhoa! It's just me!" Aaron gasped.
"Aaron? What in blazes are you doing here?" Connor asked.
"I thought you were on Crait with Oberon, Shira, and Draco?" Jayden muttered.
"I was. That is until Oberon told me to go back to D'Qar to check on you guys." Aaron told them. "So, how's your training going?"
"It's going great! I feel as if I'm getting better." Connor said with excitement visible in his voice
"Good for you." Aaron responded.
Jayden then began to walk away. "Let's get started again. Follow me." Connor followed Jayden, and so did Aaron. The trio walked deeper into the woods, until Connor saw the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his life.
The trio saw a beautiful view of the planet atop a mountain. They could see lakes, animals, and all types of different planets. Jayden then walked back down the mountain, with both Connor and Aaron following her. It took them a while to get to their destination. But when Jayden stopped at a large and gaping canyon, it was clear that this was their final destination.
"What do I do here?" Connor asked Jayden.
Jayden looked back at him. "You got to jump over that canyon."
"What if I fall?" Connor nervously asked.
"You won't. And if you do, I'll catch you with the Force." Jayden responded. At first, Connor felt a bit skeptical. He took a few steps back and looked at both Aaron and Jayden, before running towards the canyon and taking a long and impressive jump over the canyon. Connor screamed in both fear and joy as he glided over this large canyon.
"Careful!" Aaron yelled, concerned. Luckily, Connor made it safely over to the edge.
"You were right. He is getting better!" Aaron told Jayden. Connor then did the exact same thing as he did before jumping over the canyon, taking a few steps back, and then taking a run and jumping over the canyon once more. Again, Connor made it safely back to the other side.
The trio then looked up as they heard thunder in the distance. Worried, Jayden told Connor and Aaron, "We need to get back to base." before walking back the way they all came. Agreeing, Connor and Aaron followed her as it began to rain.
As soon as the trio got back to the Resistance base, Connor asked Jayden, "I wonder how the rest of our crew is doing..."
