Anya's POV
My eyes are burning with the hell lot of crying.
Bloody tears.
I made my way to board the flight as I heard its announcement.
Yes, I'm at airport.. If you guys are wondering where am I.
I can't handle this bloody love shit. I need some time.
And this conference at New York is the best way to be away from everything.
Yesterday Mia reminded me about it and I asked her to book my flight.
I ignored Abhi throughout the engagement.
I can remember his frustrated face.
My best friends are finally engaged. The engagement was amazing and the best surprise Vijay uncle and Vivek uncle gave them.
They called Aru and Ri's friend... Who are my friends too.
Even I was surprised to see them after such a long time.
We all friends had a lot of fun.
And right now here I am sitting in the flight.
I don't know how everyone is gonna react when they won't find me there.
I had left a note sticked on refrigerator... Informing them about my departure for few days.
While thinking about yesterday when I felt sleep, I didn't realised.
I was woken up by the air hostess as the flight was gonna land.
Finally New York.
I went out of the airport to see car already waiting for me.
I must say Mia is best at her work.
Soon I reached the hotel and checked-in.
After ordering my food, I went to the lovely bed which was calling me and slept.
I woke up with sunrays disturbing my sleep.
Who opened the curtains? It was me only. I was so tired that I directly went to bed.
A new day ready to start.
Today's the conference and I need to be there on time.
I showered and changed into brown shirt and black pencil skirt.
I left my hair opened and wore my black heels.
Now I need to satisfy my tummy with something yummy.
My driver is already waiting.
"Good morning ma'am. I'm Evan. Shall we leave" he greeted.
"Morning Evan and yes. First make a stop at Starbucks " I said and made my way towards the car.
Soon enough we reached Starbucks and I went inside to grab something.
"Good morning. What can I get for a beautiful lady?" The boy upfront of me asked for my order with a flirty smile.
"Hot chocolate, one chocolate pastry and pancakes" I ordered.
"Will be right there"
After taking my order, I sat on the table near to the window.
Yumm... It's tasty.
I devoured the food while thinking what might be happening at the mansion.
How am I gonna handle Aru and Ri?
I'll think about it later. First let's go and get over with this conference.
Soon Evan dropped me at the venue.
There were lot of people who came for this conference.
Though it kept me busy but the thoughts of Abhi didn't let me concentrate in Conference.
I trusted him... I gave my heart to him... But what did I get in return?
I thought that finally I'm gonna find my happiness in him but no how can it happen.
