Synopsis
The story follows the grandson of Gai Kurenai (クレナイ・ガイ Kurenai Gai) and a young man who was wandering around the world from his young age with his family named Kairi Kurenai (クレナイ・カイリ Kurenai Kairi). After their wandering has comes to an end and settle down, his parents enlist his son as a student of Nijigasaki High School (虹ヶ咲学園 Nijigasaki Gakuen).
Kairi eventually becomes the president and song composer of Nijigasaki High School Idol Club (虹ヶ咲学園スクールアイドル同好会 Nijigasaki Gakuen Sukūru Aidoru Dōkōkai) after he reformed the club with his childhood friend, Ayumu Uehara (上原 歩夢 Uehara Ayumu) and other eight girls to enter the ultimate high school idol competition called Love Live School Idol Festival (ラブライブスクールアイドルフェスティバル Rabu Raibu Sukūru Aidoru Fesutibaru) to prevent the club from being closing down and abolished it.
However, in order to protect her and those dears to him from harm, he transforms into Ultraman Orb (ウルトラマンオーブ Urutoraman Ōbu) with Orb Ring (オーブリング Ōbu Ringu) and Ultra Fusion Cards (ウルトフュージョンラカード Urutora Fuyūjon Kādo), which was entrusted by his grandfather and fighting against the Kaiju (怪獣 Kaijū, lit. Strange Beast) and Seijin (星人, lit. People of Planet), whose threaten to cause destruction and mayhem on the Earth.
