Emma's pov
I apologized to Don and Gilda last night, and I'm glad that they'll still be part of the escape.
Me and Norman are hanging some clothing on the clothes line, it's pretty windy today so the clothes got all flowy and pushed up by the wind.
"I really do feel better, now that we've come clean" I said
"Agreed" Said Norman
I want to escape with everyone somehow
There are babies that can't walk
Maybe some of us can carry one or two of them
Some can't run as fast, but the tag-training is going well
1 week left to escape
Our siblings won't slow us down right?
Everyone will escape! We'll all survive! We'll live to see the cities, more humans and for me, a giraffe!
But how will we get them all out
Not everyone is amazing physically
And the younger ones might be a little slower
Some can't climb really well
How will we escape when there are a lot of road blocks on the plan?
"Hey Norman! Got time to hear me out a bit?"
"Yeah?" Said Norman
"So I've been thinking on my own for a bit, on how we'll manage to get everyone out."
As I said that Norman started to think deeply
"Is it risky?"
"yeah"
"Still... I think it's definitely possible to catch mama off guard this way. Also, I think this is the only plausible way for us to escape all at once!"
"Yeah" said Norman
Norman's pov
With this plan, we might be able to carry out our plans without Ray noticing a single thing.
However, there is something else that is bothering me about Ray
He said he became a spy to work out a way to keep us two alive
Keeping Me and Emma alive?
Me and Emma...
If I'm not crazy Ray might be actually planning to...
. . . . . ___ . . ___ . ___ . . . ___ . . .
And if that's the case... I need to stop that from happening
I checked Don and Gilda if they were able to switch the Laundry Powder and Herbicide. They were able to, I told them that it would be useful when we are going to carry on the investigation. And with that, I went outside together with Don and Gilda.
"When you say 'investigation' you mean climbing over the gates and check out what's outside right? What about our trackers?" Asked Gilda
"About that..."
"We just need to divert the adults' attention" Said Emma
"Exactly" I agreed and began to explain to them.
"All we have to do is to distract mama and Sister Krone so they don't check our location. We're going to create a situation where those two definitely won't be looking at their watches. And quickly execute our investigation while those two are looking elsewhere" And I stopped explaining because Don has a question.
"But how?" Don asked
"Ray's already got mama under control, he's currently feeding her some false intel." I said continuing my explanation and answering his question
Time skip
Emma's pov
Sister Krone knows
She made a deal with us
None of us can destroy each other because of Ray
It's Ray tells mama about Sister Krone, or Sister Krone tells the whole truth to mama.
Sister Krone knows that we know about the transmitters
She told us about these chips near the hearts of adults
If adults step outside the farm, they die because of the electric shock coming from the chip
If adults die, the chip send some kind of alarm back ay HQ
We really can't kill them
But
Who is the person that Sister Krone wants us to know about?
It must be a boy, because she asked us if we know about "him"
Who is he?
We can only find out when we come to her room again at the next night.
Me and Norman just came back to our rooms, I'm not exactly sleeping, I'm reading this "Attack on Titan" book by...
Hajime Isayama?
I guess that's the author of the book, anyways, I'm not a bookworm unlike Ray, but the story did spark my interest, the people would fly using these 3dmg things and kills the huge titans that would terrorize humanity! There were times that I wished I could fly and feel the wind like them. The book has tons of pictures and different volumes which is ok for me because the story is very long and I wouldn't want to read a very thick book.
Anyways I was reading the book for a few minutes, I think... Time is irrelevant when I'm occupied in my imagination. When I turned to the next page, something fell out of the book and on my bed. I grabbed it and began to observe it's features.
It was some kind of badge that had this green background, a grey shield and in front were a pair of wings the right wing was white and the left wing was a shade of blue.
What's this doing here?
Was that always there?
If it was always there wouldn't it have a mark on the book?
Why didn't I notice sooner?
Is this part of the book important?
When I looked at the page, there was a picture of a guy that killed two titans in front of the main character. The man had this cold look in his eyes, he has black hair and, he looks like the type that wouldn't hesitate to beat you up in minute.
Reading the two pages, I found out that this guy killed the titans so fast while doing some dual sword motions. There was a lot of things going on because he's super fast, and the drawing has a lot of lines, shapes referring to the slashing motions, and the character himself.
So cool!
They call him 'Humanities Strongest'
No wonder he quickly killed the titans
This badge thing must be the logo of the scouts, the guy's cloak has the same logo, maybe he's part of the scouts too!
Well, obviously because from the knowledge that I gained from this story, even though it's just a fictional book, the scouts wear these green cloaks, and the wings are called, "The Wings of Freedom".
For some reason, the look in his eyes would remind me of Ray when he's looking at me with a serious gaze.
What time is it?
I think it's very late at night
I should go to sleep.
And with that I closed the book and kept it in one of the drawers of my night table. Meanwhile I hid the badge under the pillow so no one wouldn't need to question about it if they found it in my drawer along with the book. I laid my head on the pillow, tucked myself in and drifted off to sleep.

Eren's pov
We did it.
We captured Annie.
But at what cost?
She trapped her self inside a crystal made out of hardened titan skin.
So many lives died because of it.
Citizens, families, soldiers...
Dead.
Buildings for people to live on?
Destroyed.
Stohess district became a battle field.
All while I'm fighting Annie, the female titan.
If we aren't able to take any information out of her...
Then what were all the death's for?
What will the hard work the soldiers put in mean if they didn't get any information out of her.
Dammit Annie!
Does this mean...
Our efforts were in vain?
All this...
for nothing?
What are we going to do now....
After the fight with Annie, she was brought underground where no one but the Scouts could access. We didn't get any information, which sucks, because everything we did, was for nothing. Annie trapped herself in a crystal, what else are we going to do with her if she doesn't even want to get out the crystal?
Right now we are about to head out to titan territory. It's night time, based on what Armin said, titans would move in the day because of sunlight, but are unable to do so at night. Hanji told us on the way here that the physical structure of The Female Titan's hardened skin is the same as a fragment of rock that came from the wall. It's amazing that the hardened skin hasn't even disappeared even though Annie is caged in her crystal.
Man, Hanji's studies are useful but her obsession for titans is a little creepy. But at least her knowledge can give us a little advantage.
"Here on out is titan territory" said Squad Leader Hanji.
"Eren do you think you can ride a horse?" Asked Moblit.
"Yeah my strength is coming back" I replied
"There's a horse ready for you at the west lift, hurry" He said. Moblit is a reliable person, I'm glad he's part of the survey corps, at the same time, scared that he might die soon.
"Squad Leader Hanji, we have to go."
"Hold a second Moblit" Said the Squad Leader as she faced Captain Levi and Pastor Nick.
"Have you....changed your mind?" asked Squad Leader Hanji, but Pastor Nick didn't say anything.
Even if he's in the face of death, this guy won't tell us anything about the walls.
Geez...he won't tell us anything wouldn't he, whatever we do he just won't.
How annoying.
"THERE'S NO TIME LEFT!!! HAVEN'T YOU REALIZED YET!!! Are you going to talk, or going to stay silent? TELL ME PLEASE!!!! Said the Squad Leader, clearly annoyed.
After that, he finally spoke.
"I cannot speak, the other followers feel the same. They will not change their minds." He said, ticking Hanji off more.
"Well thanks a lot!!! You telling me that sure is a big help!!!"
"It....It would simply be too big a decision for one man to make, the burden we carry is too heavy. As the ages passed, we created for ourselves a firm covenant, entrusting the secret of the walls to a single bloodline, we can't speak, however I can tell you the one who can." Said Pastor Nick
"So you'll shove the responsibility to someone else, just to protect your church and yourselves?" Asked Squad Leader Hanji.
"Yes...."
"The child was caught up in a conflict in the blood line three years ago...And is in hiding, with a false name. She still has no idea but...she knows the secrets of the walls and has the right to choose to speak it in public. I heard that she entered the survey corps this year..." He said, that caught my full attention
Again? From the 104th?
"Her name is..."
Krista?
She goes by the name Krista, but that's her fake name.
As said by Pastor Nick
She's the girl always with Ymir.
She knows about the secret of the walls?
Problems with her bloodline?
I wonder what happened...
"What..?" Said Armin.
"H...Her...?" I said.
Hanji was confused, she didn't know who she was.
"Bring her here, she should be able to learn even truths that we could never acquire. Though whether to speak those truths would be up to her. This is the most I can concede. I leave the rest in your hands." Said Pastor Nick.
"That girl...she's in the 104th...which would mean she's on the front lines right now." Said the Squad Leader
"Let's go! We got to go to battlefield now!" I said.
"Wait! I still don't know all the names of the 104th..."
"She's the smallest girl in our year!" I informed.
"She has long blonde hair, and, um, she's also cute!" Said Armin
"It's the girl who is always near Ymir!" Added Mikasa
"What...?" Questioned Hanji.
I started to get ready to head off, I put on my gear and made sure that it wasn't broken, while I was doing so, I saw a mask laying on a crate. I don't know what it is representing or why it is lying there. It has a horn on the top, and some dark hair along the sides.
It has a note on the side that says:
"Whoever finds this, it's yours, please keep it, take care of it, I don't want it anymore.
-Riya"
(A/N I made up the name)
Huh?
Why would anyone leave a mask out here?
If they didn't want it, why not hand it down.
It's not mine.
But why do I have a feeling of responsibility or some shit.
Fine.
The mask looks like it would be used for a disguise.
It looks like a monster.
I wonder what it resembles.
I took the mask and the letter and went to the others, I attached the mask to my belt, good thing it wasn't made out of a material that can't be bent, it's made out of leather I think, and has a string tied to its sides, so I was able to attach it to my belt so I wouldn't need to carry it using my hands. It didn't restrict my movement that much and I was able to move normally even before I put the mask on my waist.
"Eren! Let's go!"
"Coming!"
The mask might resemble a demon in Armin's Grandpa's stories.
But he didn't tell me anything on what it looked like.
So that can't be true.
I'm just being paranoid.
Demon's aren't real Jaeger....
At least in our world it isn't.
Stop thinking about it Eren.
It's just a made up story used to scare children.
There's no need to be paranoid about it.
There's no need to believe it.
It's just a story...
