Evelyn's mum was hosting a party that Carole and Pippa Middleton helped plan for Eve and William. Because they didn't want to give anything away, of course the staff had to sign an NDA and instead of wearing white Evelyn wore a floral lace pale pink dress from Valentino. Her hair was down in curls and her face makeup gave off an ethereal glow whereas her eyeshadow was on the mauve colour side. She wore her favourite nude pumps and a bracelet that William had recently gifted her. It was a champagne diamond and rose gold colour diamond mini bar bracelet by Monica Vinader. It was simple, yet charming and went with everything.
She still couldn't believe that this was real.
That she was engaged to the most amazing guy she knew and that she was meeting with the Queen tomorrow to discuss some things regarding the wedding and some classes she had to take before she married William.
The engagement party was being held at a small Italian place in London and the couple was thankful that no paparazzi had been tipped off or spotted them yet. It was a beautiful Saturday with the sun being out bright and early this morning.
Pretty much everyone who hadn't been to make the Kenya trip were able to make this.
Evelyn had a lot to think about with regards to her job. She knew she needed to have a meeting with everyone with what the future of her brand is. But it would have to be sometime this week. Right now she just wanted to enjoy their engagement party.
Invited were just a few close friends that went with them to Kenya and their family members.
William was holding hands with Eve as she looked up at him, the room was filled with love. He was chatting with his brother as they were discussing the latest on cricket. There was a match that was supposed to happen tomorrow against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. They was chatting about getting together and watching it.
Evelyn loved most sports but she had to admit that cricket wasn't her favourite.
"Jake and Mia just got here. I'm going to go greet them and say hi to the kiddies," she told her fiancé to which he nodded his head and looked at the entrance way and decided to go with Evelyn to greet them as well.
It had been a few weeks since the couple had seen them since Penelope was sick.
"Hey, thanks for coming guys," Evelyn greeted her brother and sister-in-law and her nephews and niece.
"We wouldn't miss this," Jake grinned after he hugged his sister and William. "Welcome to the family."
"Thanks mate," William grinned at his soon to be brother-in-law.
William had always wanted a big family and now he was gaining five siblings. It made his heart so full at everything that was happening for them as a couple and that he was gaining another mum. He would always remember his mum and the fun memories that they shared but he knew that she would be happy for him. Mia was chatting with Evelyn on how William proposed to her and Mia thought it was so romantic as they had the sunrise as their background when he got down down on one knee.
There was a table at the entrance which was adorned with fairy lights and a few pictures of the couple. One of them being the most recent and it was the day that he proposed to Evelyn in Kenya. He had a proud look in his eyes as she looked like she could burst from happiness. Their arms were wrapped around each other subtly showing off her engagement ring.
It wasn't too hot outside which was nice since it could be held outside. The restaurant had a marquee outside which had wisteria that were dusty pink and bright blue colours as well as vines looped around it creating a beautiful and magical atmosphere.
"Thank you all for coming on this joyous occasion to celebrate the marriage of our daughter Evelyn and William," Natasha started out the toast. "William we are so thankful that you came into our daughter's life when you did. Seeing the way you treat our daughter with so much love makes us feel like we are leaving her in really good hands."
"We also wanted to thank Charles and Camilla," Peter spoke now. "Thank you for sharing William with our family. Charles thank you for raising an amazing young man for our daughter. I know his mum would be proud and that she's watching over you," Peter spoke as he had went from looking at Charles and Camilla, then to pointing up at the sky and finally to William.
William nodded his head at Peter and then turned to his fiancé and kissed her gathering cheers from their friends and family as the couple smile into the kiss.

"I still can't believe you're engaged," Tom told his good friend. "Like it's just insane," he said whilst using his hands as added expressions.
"Right?" She laughed, shaking her head. "I wake up and see the ring on my nightstand and just think it's so unreal."
"Shannon and I are invited to the wedding, right?"
"'Course you are! Can you do me a favour?"
"Depends on what it is," he said cautiously.
"Any chance I can meet your costars from the Avengers?" She asked lit up like a little kid and he let out a sigh of relief.
"I think that can be rearranged. I'll have to chat with them though. Would I be able to steal you away to come to New York with me?"
They had just began filming for the movie in April in Ohio for the Avengers movie that would be released in 2012. He had known how much of a crush his blonde friend had on his costar Chris Evans. In September they would be traveling to New York to finish filming.
"I think that can be arranged," she grinned.
"You want to invite him to the wedding, don't you?" He asked as it all clicked.
"Maybeee."
"You'll want to meet him first then. But he's a great guy so I'm sure you'll get on."
"Ohhh can I actually meet the whole cast? They're all so good," she said making him laugh and throw his head back.
"I'll see what I can do."
"Thanks Tom," she threw her arms around him in a hug and he hugged her back.
"Your welcome," he told her and hugged her back.
Evelyn never took advantage of her friendship with Tom or asked him for anything. So this was rare and he was more than willing to make this happen. He always valued his friendship with her and the fact that she so easily accepted Shannon when she had met her.

Evelyn had asked for chicken fettuccini and when the plate was put in front of her she could feel her mouth watering. She was so hungry as she hadn't eaten much for breakfast this morning for this reason. Eve spun her fork as she gathered the noodles onto it and began to eat as William's right hand was rested on her knee.
Conversations were being said through out dinner as everyone was excited about the upcoming marriage.
"Have you both thought of when you might get married by any chance?" Vivienne asked.
"Well, we know that it will be soon within this year but we are meeting with the Queen tomorrow to talk about it all. So we'll see," she smiled at her sister. "These past few weeks we have just been trying to enjoy this special time."
"Well, I know what I'm most excited about is to go dress shopping with you," Vivienne grinned.
"I know, me too," Eve grinned back at her sister. "I'll let you and mum and the rest of the girls know when that will happen after our meeting tomorrow."
"Looking forward to it," she told her older sister. "I'll ask to take off work whenever that is."

It was after lunch that Eve pulled her mum and dad to the side as well as Carole and Pippa.
"Thank you all so much for doing this for William and I. From the bottom of our hearts we truly appreciate each and every one of you. As a way to show our appreciation we have these gift bags for you all and we hope you enjoy them," Evelyn told the group as William helped her hand out the gifts to everyone.
It was something different for each of them. William had bought Peter's gift whereas Evelyn had bought the women's gift.
"I just wanted to thank you all as well especially Peter and Natasha. Having your support and love for not just me but our relationship really helps us in so many ways and I truly feel like I have another set of parents and a mum," he told them as he hugged them all and spent a little longer hugging Natasha.
Evelyn put a hand over her heart, touched by the whole interaction.
"And thank you Carole and Pippa," Evelyn told the two Middleton's. "I am honestly very touched that you helped my mum put this engagement party together and I can't thank you both enough."
"It was our pleasure," Carole told the blonde and William with a smile on her face. "We've known Will for so long and we couldn't help but love you as well when we first met you. We also are just so thankful that you and Kate get on so well."
They each opened their own gifts and were all surprised by what they saw. Kate had to help Evelyn with her mum and sister's gift as even though she had been getting to know them she didn't know them as well as Kate did. She got her mum Natasha her favourite Chanel perfume and bought Carole and Pippa a perfume from Burberry and Yves Saint Laurent. William had bought her dad a new watch along with a cologne. They thanked the couple and gave them hugs.

Even though it was Harry Potter's birthday a few days ago, they had been so busy and hadn't been able to finish the movies. They had only gotten to Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix so tonight they decided to make time and watch the Half-Blood Prince. Every year when it came time to Harry's birthday on July 31st they always made time to watch all the movies. Even if it took them a few days. Changing into their most comfortable clothes, they met each other back in the living room.
William had gotten the snacks ready and of course the popcorn as well as their butterbeer that they made. One year Evelyn had found a recipe on how to make it online and has made it ever since. She also made it for all the Halloween parties they had or went to.
She had taken off her makeup and already had done her skincare routine and sat next down to her fiancé as he had his glasses on. Evelyn wore her Gryffindor crewneck jumper that kept her warm whenever she was cold. Sitting down on the sofa next to Wills, he wrapped an arm around her and pressed play.
The opening credits to the movie along with the theme song came on immediately getting her excited. She cuddled into William as they watched the movie, drank their butterbeer's and ate their snacks.
They had the best time today but Evelyn's favourite thing to do was this.

Not a super long chapter but literally could not think of anything else and wanted to leave it here :).

How cute are Evelyn and William? 🥺 Also not sure when I will post a new update again. I am going on a week long vacation to celebrate me passing Statistics. Hope you all are doing well! What did you guys do for Harry Potter's birthday yesterday? I watched the movies since they were on :)
