LISA
They planned on going to a restaurant and there after Alex, Lisa and Leigh were going to the club while Lisa was getting dressed for the night her phone buzzed. She got the e-mail that Nikki had promised with her schedule on, she decided not to read it as it would cause her to stress unnecessary.
ALEX
Alex had made the reservation at a restaurant his best friend owned, he claimed they made the best steak and that it goes down well with beer, so they all decided to take his word on it and try the place out. He arrived early so that his friend and he could catch up and that type of thing. They spoke for about 20 minutes before Mr and Mrs Hale arrived. It was the first time that he was meeting Leigh’s parents, he felt as if he was Leigh’s boyfriend but he soon figured that they were really chilled people. Mr Hale was telling him about Adam and what he had all said that day, but there were a table of women who kept signalling to him that they had a seat open but wasn’t he glad to see Lisa and Leigh.
“You look nice” Alex said to Lisa as she got to her seat.
He got up placed his hand on Leigh’s lower back and kissed her cheek, in the same motion he told her to play along. He pulled out her chair and helped her push it back in again. He nodded his head in the direction of the women at the other table and sat down.
“What on earth came over you, are you dying or something?” Leigh asked Alex laughing slightly. “Don’t look now but there’s a table of about 6 women behind you that were giving me signals for me to join them and I got scared so I used you to let them stop” he answered blushing. “Wait so Alexander Brown just turned down a table of women, are you sure you not dying?” Leigh asked a bit more serious than before. “They look old enough to be my grandmother are you crazy?” Alex answered Leigh while taking her hand in his and rubbed his fingers over her knuckles.
The group of women walked past their table one winked at him, another dropped a page on the table and the last on stopped and said: “If there was no one in this place I’d bang you so hard you would have though you a canon”. Alex was never one to get shy he was always bold and out there, but at that moment if the earth could swallow him he would have gladly jumped into its mouth. Laugher filled the table as soon as the last lady left the restaurant and Alex did not find it funny not one bit. After a couple of drinks and the meal they left the restaurant really impressed, Mr and Mrs Hale agreed with Alex that the steak was the best they had ever eaten and it was good with beer. They said there good byes and soon they were off to the club.
LISA
“Let’s get this party started, it’s so bad that the last time I was in a club was about 7 months ago that arse kept me away from this great place” she said making dancing eye brows making Leigh laugh.
They stood in the line at the club in silence, this was a big moment for all of them, Lisa hasn’t been to the club in 7 months and both Leigh and Lisa have never been to the club with Alex before. They all used Leigh’s car because she doesn’t drink and she had a mission and that was to make Lisa drunk. When they arrived at the door of the club the bouncer was one of Lisa’s school friends and allowed them in for free.
“If this is how the night starts, I’m going to have a blast” Lisa giggled.
The music was pumping and the dance floor was full but they found a spot not far from the bar and that’s where they decided to stay. The night was going great Lisa was starting to feel the alcohol in her toes as she would say but of cause it was going just a bit too good.
“What does a houseless idiot like you want in a fancy place like this?” said a voice Lisa did not want to hear on a night like this…Adam “I could ask the same thing to an abusive prick like you hey” she said with much more confidence than she intended “Oh, is that how it is now. And who are you with anyway or are you all alone like a pathetic defenceless and like I said houseless idiot?” he answered loudly since he has one to many drinks. “You know Adam not everyone is as pathetic as you, so stop looking for friends and leave my sister alone, please do me that one favour” Leigh answered from behind him so he has no idea what all she had heard. “Leigh, funny seeing you here” Adam said with a sarcastic tone. “Is everything ok?” Alex asked when he saw a small crowd around Leigh and Lisa. “Yes we were just getting our stuff to leave” Lisa answered him. “No actually not, you don’t have to stop your fun just because this loser is here” Leigh told Lisa “It’s okay Leigh, I don’t want trouble really I don’t” Lisa pleaded. “There isn’t any trouble I hope” Alex said looking at Adam. “So we can stay a bit longer” Alex winked at Lisa and this pissed Adam off completely. “Well you guys have fun then” Adam said and walked away.
ADAM
Whose he and were is Kyle if Leigh is here, he asked himself as he walked away. He knew that she would get jealous if she saw him showing affection to another women so that was his plan for the rest of the night. He looked for the easiest girl in the club and there you had it, he held her hand while talk, danced really close to her, kissing her randomly on the lips or nipping her neck.
LISA
Lisa thanked Leigh and Alex for standing up for her, she needed a confidence booster and she knew just the thing… tequila shots and loads of it.
“Looks like someone is calling in sick tomorrow” laughed Alex “I deserve a break don’t you think. I got good news today, I made the biggest decision of my life that left me stranded and homeless and there’s an important e-mail waiting for me at home” she answered him confidently. “Lisa can we leave please? You’re soon to be ex-husband wants me to kill him or maybe he has cancer and has nothing to live for” Leigh said annoyed “You are you upsetting yourself, he just proved to me that I’m the highest standard he’ll ever get. And do you see those men there, that’s his associates but he doesn’t know they here.” Lisa winked and walked to the dance floor.
She hadn’t realised how much she missed dancing out of work, even though the saying goes: “Choose a Job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Working as a choreograph is really fun but the stress that comes with it is over bearing at times, so dancing in the club that night was fun for Lisa since she let loose. She took no notice of anything while she was on the dance floor, not even Adam. It made Leigh emotional to see Lisa so happy after all that she’s been through but, it annoyed her that deep down she is hurting because of that little prick. They left the club at 03:30 am, Lisa and Alex was wasted so she decided to go straight to her place so they could both crash by her. In their drunken states, they were becoming touchy so she had to drive fast to split the two of them. Lisa was heartbroken and Alex was desperate nothing good could come from that emotional hook up. It took Leigh at least a half an hour to get them out the car, up the stairs and into separate beds. Lisa slept next to Leigh like the night before and Alex occupied the guest bedroom.
