Karkat Vantas
The music almost didn't seem real. It was so perfect in every way. I'm still trying to figure out whether I should go on tour with them. The private bus thingy they were riding in should be fixed by now. Which means they'll be leaving tomorrow. Dave looked as if he needed to tell me something but never did. He didn't talk at all after the concert. Is he okay? Did I say something wrong? I did didn't I.
"Karkat. You okay?" He finally speaks. He places a hand on my shoulder and turns me around. We were about to leave.
"Y-YEAH, I'M FINE..." I shake his hand off. I turn around again but he grabs my wrist.
"Karkat there's something bothering you. What's up?" He sits me down on the steps.
"N-NOTHING. LEAVE ME ALONE." I turn away from Dave. He sighs. He'd usually keep pushing the subject. I really did do something.
"Okay... just tell me this one thing." Dave places his hand on my own. My face heats up.
"ARE YOU GONNA COME WITH US ON THE TOUR...? IS THAT WHAT YOU WERE GONNA ASK...?" I say. I should go. I can make up with Dave. Hopefully I can get him back to his old self. Dave nods.
"YEAH... I'LL COME. YOUR HOUSE AT WHAT TIME?" I ask. This was the first time I've ever seen Dave smile.
"Heh. 10am. Can you make it?"
"YEAH!" I nod multiple times.
