YEJIN'S POV
"Baby, I'm going to my agency to settle some work" I said as Bin and I were eating breakfast in our kitchen.
"Don't over exert yourself okay?"
I grinned at nodded at him.
That day, I wore a simple figure hugging black dress with an oversized dark green coat and paired it with some black heels. It was a simple yet elegant outfit.
Bin didn't need to leave to go to work early today as he didn't have any meetings and had a relatively easy day ahead of him.
"My manager is here, I got to go!" I said as I gave him a peck on the lips.
Within 15 minutes, I arrived at MSTEAM agency and was greeted by all the staff. I had to attend a meeting that day to discuss my plans about the jobs that I have been offered.
My team and I had agreed to push all work commitments and offers until I feel ready to go back to work after having the baby. My plan was to wait until the baby was a year old before going slowly accepting jobs again. I wanted to spend as much time as I can with my princess and I knew I wouldn't have the heart to leave my baby for work. Thankfully, my agency and team was very supportive of my decision.
I've never felt this way before. Before this, I wanted to work as much as I can. I wanted to accept all the job offers and CFs but now I feel the complete opposite. I want to pause my celebrity life and focus on being a mom and a wife. I've spent 20 years of my youth working my ass off, accepting all of the roles I was offered. Now it was time for me to focus on my family. I have decided that I was now going prioritise my little growing family.
HYUN BIN'S POV
Meanwhile in Vast Entertainment, I had finished approving and signing all the documents and plans for the company. I looked at the company's Income Statement and compared it with the previous years. Vast entertainment was doing very well and the profit for this year so far was far better than we all anticipated.
Even while working, Yejin was always on my mind.
"I should text her" I thought to myself.
Bin's Phone
HB: What are you doing love, I miss you already
YJ: I'm still in a meeting. I miss you more 😘
HB: Remember to drink more water and eat regularly!
YJ: Yes I will baby
HB: I'll come pick you up, what time is good for u?"
YJ: Uhh around 5pm is good! See you later❤️
HB: Okay sounds good, see you😘😘
It was only 3pm but I couldn't wait to go pick her up already so I decided to buy some snacks for the the staff to thank them for looking after my Yejin and deliver it to them.
I searched the web for good desserts near her agency and decided to go the the bakery nearby to buy some coffees and cakes.
YEJIN'S POV
It was around 4pm and we are already wrapping up the meeting. As we were wrapping up, Hae In walked into the room.
"Omo, Hae in. What are you doing here!" Yejin said excitedly as Hae In went in for a hug.
"Ahh, I was just here to greet Ms Kim as I was nearby."
"Noona, you look very good" Hae In exclaimed
"Aniyo, I feel like a whale these days" Yejin laughed
They reminisced on the good times they had together while filming Something In The Rain. Laughing at all the funny and good memories. Yejin laughed so hard that the baby was moving so much.
As if on cue, Bin walked into the meeting room. He saw his Yejin and Hae In having such a good time catching up. Bin immediately went up to them.
"Annyeonghasaeyo Hyun Bin sunbaenin" Hae In greeted politely
"Omo Bin! You're here early!" Yejin exclaimed
Bin politely smiled back at Hae In
He then placed his hand on Yejin's waist,
"Should we go home now?"
"Ahh ok. Hae In it was really nice to catch up, see you soon!"
"Yes, catch up soon!" Hae In replied giving a slight bow
LATER IN THE CAR
On the way home, Bin didn't say a word and kept silent the whole time.
"Love? Yah.. why are you ignoring me"
They eventually got home and Bin went straight into his office. Yejin changed out of her clothes into her at home lounge wear. She went into Bin's office and just looked at him from the door. He was reviewing some documents looking very serious.
Yejin knew exactly why Bin was upset. Hae In has once tried to ask Yejin out aware that she at that time was already dating Bin. That made Bin really upset and since then he's always on his toes when it comes it Hae In.
Yejin decided to approach him. She went up to him, still no reaction. She tapped his arm, still no reaction.
"Ok that's it" Yejin thought to herself.
She took the documents from his hand and placed it on his desk. She kicked the chair away from the table and sat on his lap directly facing his face. She gave him the tightest hug, so tight that her bump was lightly pressing against Bin's abs.
She didn't let go until he hugged her back.
After 2 minutes of silence and Yejin tightly hugging Bin. She finally felt his arms hug her back. They stayed this way for another few minutes.
Yejin then broke the hug. She looked directly into Bin's eyes and cupped his face giving him countless kisses.
"I'm sorry" Bin said
"No, i'm sorry" Yejin responded
"I just get insecure when Hae In is around you alone because he has already tried to ask you out before"
Yejin laughed, "Did you think he was still going to flirt with me when I'm this pregnant and obviously married"
"I don't know, you look so good pregnant. Any guy will still be attracted to you"
Bin kissed her then rubbed her belly.
"How is my princess today, I missed you too" Bin said whilst rubbing my belly.
"I think she missed you a lot, she kept kicking and moving around as if she was throwing a tantrum. It was so hard to focus on the meeting with your princess moving around so much"
Bin chucked, "I missed you so much too!"
"Oh yes, I forgot I had to tell you something" Yejin said
"What is it?"
"I discussed this with my team earlier and I've decided that I was going to extend my hiatus. Also after my hiatus, I'm going to accept very selective offers"
"Why? Are you worried about leaving the baby? I know how much you love acting."
"I love acting and i've already dedicated all of my youth to it. From now on, I'm going to put our family first"
Bin hugged me.
"You don't have to feel bad for me, this is what I want. Didn't we agree on 3 kids? I might be even busier than I was when I was working full time"
"Thank you, our princess and our future ones are so lucky to have an eomma like you"
