" Gigs what the fuck! Plano mo na bang magpakamatay!" Yes fuck! Para din naman akong namatay. Why is Kiefer even here at this hour. Why are they fucking here!
" How was the investigation?" I asked Captain who just came.
" The DNA results were positive, Gigs. I was sure the DNA result wasn't a fraud. I'm sorry" Putangina!
" Go out Miguel. Get the fuck out of my room"
" Gigs it has been a year of investigation. Paulit ulit nalang tayo. And I always give you the same result. Move on Hans. Accept it. We lost her" The fuck will I?! Hindi siya ang nawalan! And my Melissa is not dead! My child is not dead!
" Putangina naman Miguel! Sa tingin mo ba madali para sa akin na basta nalang kalimutan siya! I can't! I fucking can't and I fucking won't forget her! My years of living wouldn't be enough to forget her! So better fucking leave!" I shouted at him. Fuck! They can't even give me a good result.
" You are a mess and you are deep shit drunk again Hans. It's 6:30 in the morning and yet you are wasted! Come on Gigs accept it. Wala na si Iza! She died in that ship! Walang mangyayari sa 'yo kung patuloy kang magiging ganito" It was that motherfucker Shannon who spoke.
" Your wives, has any of them have contact with Iza? Si Grasha, I'm sure Iza is contacting Grasha" My eyes averted to Kiefer with hope.
" Gigs, wala. Walang sinasabi sa akin si Grasha. Pati siya ay nangungulila sa pagkawala ni Iza" Bullshit! Those women are all liars!
" How 'bout Kim? I'm sure Iza called Kim" I looked at Shannon with too much hope.
" Not a single call Gigs. None" Putangina naman!
" Then may be Iza called Sabina. Kung hindi sina Kim at Grasha. She surely called Sabina" Yeah, my Melissa could have called Sabina.
" She never did, Gigs" Kumuyom ang mga kamao ko.
" Then get the fuck out of my sight Jaguars!" I shouted once more before drinking this fucking liquor.
Kiefer
May balak atang magpakamatay amputa.
Ginawang tubug ang alak amputa. Masmalala pa pala si Gigs kaysa sa amin.
Si Grasha kahit paulit ulit kong tinatanong pare pareho ang sagot. Ganon din daw si Sabina at Kim. Tangina kahit ipasunod namin ang nga asawa namin wala parin kaming makuhang impormasyon kay Iza.
Problemado kami na Captain habang nag-uusap sa veranda ng bahay ni Gigs.
" I never imagine him like this, Kiefer. Alive but dead inside. Hindi na nga iyan pumapasok sa kumpaniya nila. Nababahala na ang kaniyang mga magulang" Captain told me.
" Isang taon na ang nakakalipas, Miguel. Pinahanap mo si Iza, at ganon din ang ginawa namin pero wala. Kung buhay man si Iza, wala siya sa Pilipinas" That's the truth. Nagtulong tulungan na kaming hanapin si Iza pero wala kaming nahanap sa loob ng isang taon.
" Baka alak pa ang ikamatay mo Gigs. Tama na. Kahit ubusin mo pa ang alak sa mundo hindi niyan maibabalik si Iza" Shit Shannon! Ba't ganun ang sinabi niya. Lasing na tumayo si Gigs at sinuntok si Shannon. Na alarma kami ni Captain kaya mabilis kaming pumasok muli sa loob ng kuwarto ni Gigs at pinaghiwalay iyung dalawa.
" Tangina naman Villarte! Kung wala kang maayos na sasabihin umalis ka sa pamamahay ko!" Sigaw sa kaniya ni Gigs.
Ibang iba ang Gigs na nakikita namin sa Gigs na nakilala namin ng halos anim na taon.
He didn't shave. Mahaba na ang buhok niya. His parents are worried about him but they cannot do anything anymore. Wala ng pakialam si Gigs sa paligid niya.
Isang taon na pero kung makaasta si Gigs parang kahapon lang nawala sa kaniya si Iza.
" Itigil niyo iyan!" Hindi na napigilang sigaw ni Captain sa dalawa. Galit kaming binalingan ni Gigs.
" She was pregnant. She's pregnant and I lost them" Gigs started to cry infront of us.
" Putangina ngayon niyo sabihin sa akin na kalimutan ang mag-ina ko!" He shouted at all of us.
Lahat kami ay gulat na napatingin sa kaniya. This is the very first time that he opened up to us after the incident.
" She was three weeks pregnant with our child when I lost them both. Bullshit! You how hard that is? Every fucking day I try to wake up from this nightmare but every fucking time I do it, I fucking fail! So don't tell me infront of my face to forget them because I'll fucking kill whoever does that!" We all saw pain and anger in his face.
Miguel
What the fuck Gigs!
Nasa bar na naman si Gigs! Anong oras na. It's fucking twelve in the evening when Kiefer called me because Gigs is again fucking making the headlines for his popularity in front of the tabloids and media.
" Gather him up Monteverde." I told Kiefer.
" Tangina Captain ayaw paawat ni Gigs. Kakatapos lang makipagsuntukan dito" I face palmed.
Fuck Gigs! Ganito nalang ba talaga palagi ang magiging buhay mo araw araw?
" Samahan mo muna. Darating ako. Magpapaalam lang ako kay Sabina" I said before ending the call
" Sab aalis lang ako saglit. Napaaway na naman si Gigs sa bar" I saw how my wife sighed.
" Did Iza ever contact you?" I encouraged my wife to tell me honestly. She shook her head.
" I'm sorry." That was all she said. Alam kong may iba sa palaging sagot ng asawa ko dahil iyun palagi ang nagiging sagot niya sa akin.
" Kamusta na si Gigs?" She asked
" He's a wreck, Sab. No one knows when will he recover. In case Iza contacts you, please inform me right away. For the sake of Gigs." I told my wife. Napayuko si Sabina.
" Yes I will, Miguel" She answered me.
" Okay then. I'll be leaving. I'll be right back in a few minutes" I kissed her on the lips before leaving the house.
Gigs
" Bullshit! Get the fuck away from me! I already have a wife!" I shouted at the woman who sat on my lap.
She got scared and immediately got of from me.
" Go find another man to flirt with. I'm taken" She must fucking understand that! This is not how I fucking treat women. But she can't even fucking understand that I don't want to fucking flirt with her. Magagalit si Iza.
" You're married? Pero wala ka namang singsing?"
" I am not in the mood to explain miss. So get the fuck out of my sight before I forget that you are a woman" My voice was as cold as ice.
Natakot iyung babae at umalis.
Nagsalin ako ng alak at nilagok agad iyun.
My heart is bleeding because of missing her so much. How is she now? Nahihirapan ba siya sa pagbubuntis niya? Is our baby okay?
I was fucking drinking at peace when someone moved my table totally causing my bottle of liquor to spill.
Fuck him!
" The fuck you are!" Galit akong tumayo at agad na sinundan iyung gago bago kinuwelyuhan.
" Nananadya ka ba ha! Tangina ka ah!" I muttered with so much anger before I punched him on the face. Kala mo kung sinong gago. Tangina niya! Walang laban!
I was already punching the asshole when Kiefer came and pulled me away from that motherfucker.
" Shit Gigs enough. You are going to kill him!" Sigaw sa akin ni Kiefer but I don't fucking care.
" Tangina naman Gigs! Paano ka babalikan ni Iza kung ganito ka!" I suddenly stopped what I was doing and looked at him with anger.
I will behave when Iza is here.
Tangina ibalik niyo si Iza at isinusumpa ko, magpapakabait na ako. Just bring her back to me.
