No-one's P.O.V.
Y/n's stand, SS3005, the perfect stand for any mystery. It worked simply with a camera, one snap and as she waves the photo to uncover the picture, it can reveal whatever events she wishes to see in that place.
Unfortunately, her stand only worked through photos, not animated images like those Harry Potter paintings, how they're alive and thriving, it was just an image. So it was her job to work through the image.
Requested by a few of the poorer people from the street, Y/n was heading to one of the many bigger hospitals in Italy. Apparently, there had been a murder by surgery. While the people who asked her to check it were wary about it not being murder but an accident, she was still suspicious.
Finally stopping, she found the site her clues led her to. An old, abandoned mental asylum. While the normal person would get creeped out and run back to the streets, Y/n need to know pulled her closer.
Pushing open the door with caution as it creaked loudly. Instantly, she snapped a photo, waving it clear... Just a normal entrance.
Of course she had the ability to ask Bucciarati or anyone else in the team, but according to her detective intuition, she wanted to work alone. Walking through the empty halls, her heels clicking, sending out echoes.
The environment, though the sun was gleaming through broken windows and tattered curtains along with noiseless silence, the woman still kept her guard up.
Doors were broken off frames, windows with bent cages over them, dirt and dust covered windows. The place had been abandoned for quite some time, though, one thing was for certain, there had been murder. The scent of iron was strong, and dried blood splatters laid about.
The feeling of isolation kept present until the woman heard a clatter echo, just from upstairs.
Instantly, she knew she wasn't alone. If something had fallen, it may have been a bug or small rodent, but it couldn't hurt to check, after all, if her detective work led her here, then that must've meant something.
She hurried upstairs, a rushed yet slow pace, in case if she ran in, she'd be met with a blade. Searching the rooms by just a peek, she looked through each room she passed, the sound of footsteps were present. After looking in another ward, she spun around back to the hall and was shocked.
A man sat there, like a dog. He was lanky, wearing some sort of suit that covered everything except a portion of his face for his eyes and nose. It looked sewn up. He whipped his head to the hall and gasped. "Cio-Cioccolata! There's a girl here!" He yelled, his voice shrill. He even sounded like how a dog would sound like.
'W-wait, that name, is it actually...?' Normally, Y/n would've grabbed her stand to take a photo, but strangely, she was in shock from the name, too preoccupied to. From the room the man was guarding out came another man, a very familiar man.
Abnormal, green hair, he had marks on his face and green eyes. Of course, she couldn't forget, could she? He looked at Y/n, shocked. His expression then formed into a more worried one.
"Cioccolata, should we attack!?" The small man said, he raised his hand only to slowly clutch it. "I... no. I need to talk to her, she's harmless. Just- Go around and search." The man said. The smaller one, Secco, ran off down a hall.
Him and Y/n shared a look, his was slightly saddened while hers was angered. "So, when you ordered me to leave it was just to continue your murders... of course." She stated with a grimace, turning around to walk away.
He quickly approached her, placing a hand on her shoulder, making her turn back. "I did it so you won't get pulled into it, I wanted you to stay with me, I really did but... Y/n, I tried to stop but I couldn't resist-" "That's no excuse to become a psychotic murderer."
With a huff, she ripped herself from his grasp, only to walk away once more. She was about to leave and go back downstairs when she was stopped in her tracks. "Y/n I love you."
She took a second to pause, she then sighed, crossing her arms and bringing a hand to massage her temple as she walked back over to him. She reached up, cupping his face and bringing it down to place a peck on his forehead. "I love you too, but that doesn't mean anything compared to right or wrong."
Before she left, she said once more; "Just so you know, the next time we meet, I'll be fighting with Bucciarati." His eyes widened at that statement. Y/n had left and he remained broken-hearted. Secco eventually scrambled over.
"Cioccolata! Who was that lady anyway!?" He asked, tilting his head as he noticed his broken frown.
"That was... my ex-wife."
