"OI DON'T TOUCH HER."
Levi barked at the frightened and surprised Doctor who's purpose was to just check on you.
"Levi! Get a hold on yourself, he needs to check on Y/N." Hanji facepalmed as the man growled in reply.
He clicked his tongue. "Why can't you check on Y/N?"
"Because I don't work in this hospital Shorty." She showed her tongue.
Earlier, Levi had saved you from the explosion in the burning building.
And fortunately, since Hanji is a doctor, she immediately treated you first aid to stop the blood and burns to worsen.
This was the closest hospital so Levi couldn't bother to change at the moment to a better hospital since you're health isn't stable yet.
So now, you were inside the hospital in a private room with your boyfriend, Hanji and Erwin.
Although much to Levi's dismay, you fainted due to starvation so at the moment you were unconcsious.
When you closed your eyes earlier at the scene, boy was the man worried all over again.
Either way, you are now recovering from your injuries and that's what matters the most at the moment.
While the Doctor was nervously checking on you, Levi glared while growling agressively.
Your boyfriend sat on a chair beside you while both of his hands clasped one of yours.
As the Doctor quickly finished checking, he left the room fast wanting to get away from Levi's death glares.
And as soon as the Doc did, Levi turned back to you, drasticaly changing his persona into a softer one.
Erwin and Hanji sighed, thinking how bipolar Levi was at the moment.
It had been approximately an hour after the scene and luckily, the four suspects had been sent to prison.
It was all thanks to Levi that they were able to capture Zeke and the others.
"It must be frustrating how they used your weapon: Ground Zero, Levi..." Erwin spoke.
(A/N: Ah btw yes I got the name from Bakubae bc it's cool, he's cool, everyone's cool :))
"Yes it is. But I'm over it. My priority is Y/N and now she's safe." He answered not breaking his gaze from you.
"At least we were able to retrieve the weapon though!" Hanji grinned before yawning.
"We had a long day didn't we?" Erwin says noticing the woman's yawn.
"Yep~ I wanna sleep.. Do you?" Hanji asks to which he nodded.
"Levi, would it be alright if we take a nap?" Erwin asks.
"You two can go back home. I'll stay with her."
The two looked at him then to each other before Hanji shrugged, grinning at the man's love for you.
"Suit yourself then lover boy~ If Y/N is awake, tell her I said hi. Bye~" She left the room.
Erwin approached you and Levi a bit closer before placing his hand on top of his shoulder.
"I'm glad you found someone you love Levi.." Erwin smiles. "The both of you are perfect for each other."
Levi nodded, his heart fluttering happy to know that you two do look great together.
Erwin soon then left, leaving Levi with you alone.
His eyes softly examined the state you were in.
Wrapped in bandanges to stop the blood from flowing.
A mask placed on your face connected to a mechanical ventilator to help you breathe better.
A blood oxygen level sensor attached to your finger and a small tube inserted into a vein in your arm allowing medicine to be given directly into your blood and to give you fluids in the same arm.
You looked peaceful and relaxed as he couldn't help but give you a kiss.
And yet Levi gritted his teeth as his thoughts wandered back to the time he saw you during your previous state.
He never wanted to see you like that again.
You had almost slipped away from him and that alone made Levi... unusually scared..
It wasn't his fault though.
He was madly in love with you and you were the only person that gave meaning to his life.

Feeling touches on top of his head, Levi woke up tiredly.
His eyes slowly opened as his vision started to get clearer.
You were still laying down but showed him a soft and small smile while continuing to play his hair.
Until he realized that you were awake.
His head shot up making him grunt by the pain in his forehead due to the quick act.
You giggled underneath your mask gently pushing his head back down.
"Y/N..." Your name rolled out from his tongue fondly. "You're awake!" He beamed.
You smiled angelicly causing butterflies to erupt in the man's stomach.
That was before it fell.
"..I.. I'm sorry.." You mouthed, looking upset as tears threatened to fall.
This caught Levi off guard making him quickly shake his head in disagreement.
"No. This wasn't your fault, it was mine-"
He stopped himself when he saw a tear fall down from your eye.
If only you were more careful you wouldn't have been dragged into this mess.
As if a part of his heart cracked, he gently grazed your hand. "Shh, no baby. If only I was with you.."
Levi sighed.
"I'm so fucking glad you're okay. Your head was gushing with blood, and you wouldn't wake up."
His eyes closed as the memory replayed.
"I've been going out of my mind.. I wasn't myself.." He lifted your free hand to his lips, gently kissing it.
Your hand reached out to his face, tenderly grazing from his jawline to cup a side of his cheek.
You mouthed a 'thank you' to him making Levi continue to fondly kiss your knuckles.
"Anything for you mon amour, I would glady do so.."
You rolled your eyes knowing what it meant while blushing by his statement making him chuckle huskily.
"I really want to kiss you on the lips but you probably need more oxygen right now."
You playfully flicked your finger to hit his forehead making him click his tongue.
"You little-"
"Mr. Ackerman? Ms. L/N?"
Levi grunted frustratingly, before kissing the back of your palm one last time and then standing up to unlock the door.
Then came in your nurse who's holding a clipboard.
"Oh! Ms. L/N, you're awake! I'll fetch you breakfast after this if you don't mind." The nurse happily said before approaching you.
She pressed the button that would let the other medical personel to know that you needed a doctor.
Levi stood beside you scowling at the nurse while paying attention to what she added on you just in case.
She checked the monitor before reluctantly grinning at you nervously as she felt the daggers sent by the intimidating man questioning if he was your boyfriend.
"A-ah. Miss L/N, I'll take the mask off now since your vitals and heartbeat are well as of now." She smiled genuinely.
You nodded. Levi helped you to sit up while he sat on the bed.
His arm wrapped around your waist and the other grasped your hand for surpport.
The nurse carefully and steadily dettached the mask from you since Levi was intimidatingly glaring at her as if intrepting to do a good job.
After that, she quickly left again like the Doctor earlier at 2 in the morning.
"You scared her off.." You croaked out.
Levi stared at you again, his stomach flipped as soon as he heard your voice.
Though it sounded croaky, he loved you for who you are so whether it sounded like that or better, he was for sure he is still madly in love with you.
"You and I both know how I don't care." He slyly retorted.
You puckered your lips again tempting Levi to kiss it.
And this time, he failed and gave your lips a quick peck catching you off guard.
"L-Levi!" You hit him by the shoulder.
He chuckled, thinking how adorable you looked with a messy red hue plastered on your face.
Then a knock was heard by the door making Levi stand up to open it.
The Doctor and Nurse came in checking you as your boyfriend stayed standing beside you while placing his hand on your shoulder.
"How is she?" He asks.
"Ms. L/N is recovering well. However to be sure, we need her to stay inside the hospital for 3 days until her bleeding completely stops, as well as to indicate if there are any more further notices regarding her burns."
"Will it be permanent?" You asked, worriedly.
"Both the bleeding and burns are below major so fortunately, no." The doctor answered making you sigh in relief.
"Ah, here's breakfast Ms. L/N." The nurse placed a tray on a table.
"This is the meal your nutritionist had reccommended Mr. Ackerman."
You rose a brow at Levi who just nodded before letting them leave.
"Seriously? A nutrionist?"
"Yes. I need my girlfriend back to her perfect condition."
"Oh shut up.."
You blushed still not used to him calling you his girlfriend.
"Eat up." Levi says as he places a bed table on top of the mattress.
"Yes captain." You joked, picking up a spoonful of food.
Slowly munching it, you stopped before immediately gulping it while chugging down water.
He laughed a bit, amused when you gagged by the meal.
"Hospital food sucks." You cringed.
"You need to eat though."
"Why not try it for yourself." You huffed.
When he can't handle the cuteness, he pinched your cheek making you slap his hand away playfully.
He then picked up a spoonful of food again gesturing for you to open your mouth.
The color of scarlet bloomed on your cheeks, fazed by his actions.
"Eat up brat or I'm shoving it." He spat making you giggle.
"Aww, Levi's being a softie~!" You chriped.
'For you, I would dipshit.' He thought to himself.
You opened your mouth, consuming the food reluctantly.
But this time, it wasn't as half bad as it was. Maybe it was because Levi fed you.
Minutes flew by with Levi throwing sass and at the same time being extra sweet to you.
After finally finishing the awful poor excuse of a breakfast, Erwin and Hanji visited you for a bit considering they were busy people

They dropped off Levi's breakfast and a bouqet of flowers for you.
"Get well soon Y/N, bye~"
"We wish you the best of health."
The two bid you a goodbye as Levi walked with them by the door.
As the man closed the door, he crossed his arms at them. "Updates?"
"Well we won the judge's decision earlier." Erwin replied to which Levi nodded.
"Ah, Y/N may transfer to the hospital I'm in tomorrow in the morning." Hanji informed.
"Then, I'll put guards here for the meantime. Until tomorrow morning, they'll transfer to the hospital you're in."
"Alright! We'll see you around Levi~!" Hanji beamed before walking away with Erwin.
Levi sighed before opening the hospital door silently and then closing it.
"Y/N they're-"
His eyes widened as his breath got caught up in his throat.
Something must've shown on your face.
Because his current expression vanished--- no, it shifted. Into something else, Rage.
That was what stilled on Levi's face.
Pure, burning rage.
You turned your head to see Levi and that caught you off guard.
There were hot tears on your face and your cheeks were much rosy. Your eyes were glossy and held fear with sadness.
And that robbed Levi's sanity.
To see the love of his life crying would always make him lose his shit.
His eyebrows furrowed, his fists clenched before walking nearer as his aura grew.
"Who." Venom dripped from that one word that Levi spat.
You quickly wiped your tears away, sniffing. "I-I don't know what you're talking about.."
You looked away while fiddling your fingers and your heartbeat by now was galloping.
Levi knew he was dangerous when he'd see you vulnerable, but he couldn't care less truthfully.
The fact that you know what he'd do but had no idea the limits of it had made you quite feel out of control.
"Y/N." He growled, demanding an answer.
The wrath, the utter stillness to which he stood.
This was how he was when he is close to killing. Wanting to kill.
"Would it change anything if someone had?" You breathed out faintly.
"It'd make me hunt them down and shatter every bone in their body." And he was serious by this.
A shiver went down your spine. Not by the fear of him but at the truth in the promise. The sincerity.
"You wouldn't though... because he's in jail.."
"Zeke?" He narrowed his eyes mentally adding another reason on his list why he hates the bastard.
"I.. I can't forget what happened when I was kidnapped.." Tears streamed down to your cheek.
Your fists where your tears dripped down clenched.
You paused taking a deep breath before continuing, "They tied me in ropes , th-they continuosly slit knives on my skin and when I sleep or I get tired even then would they wouldn't stop-"
"THAT MOTHERFUCKER I SWORE I SHOULD HAVE KILLED HIM WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE."
"Levi!"
"NO! If only those shitty police didn't come I would have had killed them and I-"
You placed your hand on his cheek, slowly calming him down.
His breathing went from haggard to even.
His eyes softening as it locked onto yours that were still glossy, but you made it a priority to calm him down first.
"Shh, at least I'm safe.." You smiled sadly.
Levi sat down beside you, resting his head on your shoulder while you lovingly played with the strands on his hair.
"But the memories from that place and the unforgivable things he did to you would stay..."
"I'll forget about it soon enough!" You chirped wanting to uplift his spirits.
He smiled without hesitation before kissing your temple.
"And when that time comes, I'll still be by your side.."
"Of course you would mi amor."
