When I first meet Chirs it was wonderful. We were high school sweethearts, we met my junior year and his senior year in high school. I never would have thought that it would have been like this. Chirs and I have been together since I graduated high school and went to college.
I am really from New York City, I used to live in Queens with my momma and daddy but he left my mom after my mom had my sister. I have only two siblings named Ming and Lauren. When I came to Houston during my junior year of high school I felt like my life was ruined, I had to leave all my friends and family up there and I wanted to start but my momma wouldn't let me. I didn't know what to do, I thought that my life was changing for the better when I meet Chris.
When Chris graduated he wanted us to stay together and I thought it was a good idea since I still had my senior year to get done. We were the perfect couple, he was always a good support system that came to all my award ceremonies, and to all my family gatherings.
I went to college, he still stayed the same he didn't change at all. He would come up to my dorm and Cook with me and take me on dates. He would never hit me and just had his attention only on me. I don't really know what changed but I miss the old him.
I always thought that he wanted to wait until graduated from college so he would be able to control me and I was right. The honeymoon stage ended right after we moved in together. I really began to hate being with him. I tried to run away from him and start a new life and it ended up with me getting my ass beat. It took me months to finally recover. He loved me again after he beat my ass and I continued to act like he was used too. I just knew this wasn't going to be the end of his bipolar bullshit.
I know my mother and my best friend bia told me they will help me to get away from him but I can't I love him too much. But, I didn't wanna do something wit them involved and he would come after them if I left him. I love my family too much to have them hurt because of my decisions.
I was brought back from my daydream from Chirs yelling at me to get me to pay attention. "Yes Chris, why are you yelling when we are in the place." Chirs got up and snatched Me up by her neck. He had a tight hold on my neck and I couldn't breathe. He looked so angry over me just asking a simple question. "What was on your mind that had you not paying attention? What did I tell you about that Nicki? Huh?" He said.
"I'm sorry Chirs, I was just thinking about what I'm going to cook you for dinner." Chirs just looked at me like I was a piece of shit."You don't have to cook dinner I'm going out to with the boys and when I get back you better be ready for me on the bed". Chirs got up and grabbed his keys and left the house. The minute he left I called my best friend bia.
Phone call :
Bia💕 - hey bestie ❤️, what's up?
Pic Nic ❤️- I don't have much time but, Chirs just left the house And I'm done this time, I love him but I can't take the abuse anymore.
Bia💕- Ok, calm down Nic, let's see if I book you a plane at 3:00 pm you can catch it?
Pic Nic ❤️ - yeah I can do that, I have to pack my clothes, I don't want any of my stuff here.
Bia💕 - ok, I book the flight, you should leave the house in an hour early Nic, so if he does come back to check on you that you not there. I love you, call me when you land.
Pic Nic ❤️ - ok, thank you so much bia, I owe you.
Bia 💕 - girl, you don't need to thank me, I should thank you for finally leaving that sorry ass excuse of a man but you know I love you too call me later.

After she hung up, I ran up the stairs to pack all my clothes, I just threw all the clothes that I have in a suitcase so that I can get the hell out of the man's house. The minute I was done I called a Uber so it can drop me off at the airport.
Bia sent me the plane confirmation in my email and I just showed the lady so she can allow me on the plane. When I sat down on the plane, I finally could finally breathe. I just could finally get over this rough patch in my life that causes me so much pain and heartbreak. But I don't know why I couldn't leave him.
I wasn't really paying attention when someone sat down next to me. I look over and it was a woman with blonde curly hair in a half up and some down design. She had a white shirt on that had Africans in which was kinda weird. She had a pretty African skirt on that fit so hold on her and it showed her long pretty legs. She had these glasses on and I couldn't really see her eyes tho. She was staring straight at me sizing me up the same way I did her.
"Hey, is this seat taken ?" She said. I couldn't even speak yet because her voice was so velveted like, it felt like honey to my ears. "Hello? , are you ok mama? "Yes I'm ok, I'm sorry I was staring at how pretty you are, no the seat is not taken, I'm Onika by the way but I will rather be called Nicki." The woman just stared at her and smiled. "Well, my name is Beyoncé, but you can call me bey." If you don't mind me asking, why are you on the plane to California?" I didn't know If I could trust her but I knew that if I didn't tell someone I would have it on my chest.
Well, let me start from the beginning... after me telling bey the whole story about me and Chirs she looked so mad. She just looked at me with something in her eyes but couldn't put my eye on it. "Onika, you shouldn't have to put yourself through something like that. If you were my girlfriend, I would love you unconditionally and treat you like the queen you are. I wouldn't even look at another female because you everything a nigga and females could want." While listening to Beyoncé all I could do was cry, someone never been that genuine with me and care about my feelings. She pulled me in her arms and hugged me tight and long. I couldn't even speak because I'm still thinking this a dream that someone would want to be with me, after all, I been through.
"You know what, who are you going to stay with after you get off this plane ?" I am going to my best friend Bia house. Beyoncé looks surprised, " Wait you said your best friend is named Bia is her last names happen to be Knowles ?" I was so confused about why she would want to know anything about bia, but I still answered her because I wanted to know what she was getting at. Yeah, she has been living in California for a while she actually from Texas. "Well Bia is my sister, yeah it's kinda crazy that I and you are both going to California to the same person. I was flying out to visit her and your flying out because your no-good boyfriend ain't shit," she said
I just looked at her weirdly because I wouldn't have known I would meet Bia sister on a flight to her house to get away from Chris. "We will see what the world will bring us after this flight lands won't we".
