They came back to Mumbai and next day preetha decides to attend college.Karan insisted to drop preetha at her college.They are few metres away from the entrance gate,
Karan: So madam aa gayi thumhara college.
Preetha(smiling): hamara!
Karan: haa but for 2 days it's all your's.Enjoy!
Preetha frowns,
Karan: My lecture was scheduled after 2 days because of my sudden leave.
Preetha: So?
Karan: So your hitler is not going to come to college for the coming 2 days.
Preethas face suddenly falls but composes herself,
Preetha: Ohh good!
Karan: So what are you going to do?
Preetha: mein mumma ke paas jaathi hu.pata heine thumhe......
Karan(caring): haaa but are you sure?
Preetha: haa karan you know how much I miss them.I really wanna see maa and papa (she stops) Don't worry I will be ok I will call you.
He smiles.
Preetha(slowly): Bye.
Karan feels something wrong with her,he holds her hand,
Karan: Sweetheart are you ok?
Preetha nods but doesn't see his eyes,
Karan: Preetha idar dekho.....preetha....
Karan makes her look into his eyes,her eyes are glistening because of tears,he was shocked.
Karan: Preetha thum....
Interrupting him,she hugs him and cries.
Karan: Preetha kya hua? Kyun ro rahi ho?
He is tensed but she is not giving any response.He then cups her face,
Karan: Preetha kya hua? Mein kal se dekh raha hu thumhe aise hi moody reh rahi ho.Kyun?
Karan: I think you are missing goa aise hi hein tho........don't worry we will go again after some time.Hmmm?
She then looks at him karan then gets that it might be the reason for her sadness,
Karan(wiping her tears): Pagal ladki thum usskeliye ro rahi ho mujhe tho dara diya thum.If you like that place that much......I promise we will go again.
She then looks at his eyes,
Preetha: Its not about place karan it's about you.I miss being with you.
Karan was taken aback by her sudden admission,she then puts her head on his shoulder and holds his arm tightly,
Karan(sighs): It was your decision preetha i can't do anything.
Preetha(whispers): I know!
They doesn't speak for sometime.Karan then thinks to lighten her mood,
Karan: You know what .....kisine mujhse kaha ki Door rehne se pyaar badtha hein
Preetha smiles listening him.
Preetha: achaa fir internship keliye mein banglore jaungi.........then hamara pyaar aur badega!
Karan widen his eyes but seeing her smirk,he also smirks,
Karan: Aise baath hein tho mein london jaaunga waise bhi di ne bahot baar pucha hein par i didn't go........but as you are saying I will go to london for 6 months then hamara pyaar aur bhi badega! Jitna door utna pyaar....
He laughs but stops looking preetha silent.
Karan: Hey I am just joking.
She doesn't respond him and starts to get away from the car,
Karan: Preetha.....wait.....preetha....I am just...
She shuts the door and leaves ignoring him.
Karan: ab meine kya kiya? She is sad,she cried,she joked and when I am joking she got angry.matlab had hein ......
He gets an office call and leaves thinking he will message her later.
COLLEGE
Preetha enters inside thinking about karan,goa trip and her mother's call when a bike stops at her suddenly making her scared.For a second,she is afraid but seeing the bike and helmet she knows who is that.
Preetha: Ahhhh......
Stomping her foot,she starts walking,he turns off the bike and make it move with his legs,
Rishi: Arey.....Mickey wait....Mickey.
She makes a deaf ear.
Rishi: yaar itna tez kyun chala rahi ho thoda slowly chalo.
She stops as she remembers karan saying the same when she is at beach.She shakes her head and again starts walking while rishi struggles to match her with his bike,
Rishi: arey firse........Mickey slow down yaar mein aise bike ko handle nai karsakthe.
Preetha: Then who told you to do like that go away!
Rishi gets irritated and gets down his bike and goes to her.He tugs her hand pulling her to him,
Rishi: Not fair haa......do din gayab hogayi ab tho gussa kar rahi ho.Very bad!
Preetha seeing his face tends to smile but puts angry face,
Preetha: gussa Thu ne hi dila diya mujhe.......arey kitne baar kaha hein meine aise math karo lekin thu nai sunthe ho.kyun karthe ho aisa?
Rishi: Aur kyun........maza keliye!
Preetha: You are unbelievable.
Rishi: I know I am and now give me hug.
Without giving a chance to speak,he hugs her tightly.
Rishi: I missed you so much Mickey!
And preetha's anger fly away bringing a smile to her.She hugs him back.
Preetha: You know something........
Rishi: hmmm......
Preetha: I didn't missed you a bit teddy!
Rishi suddenly leaves her and pouts while preetha laughs seeing his face.
Preetha: acha chal ab aise face math banao joke lag raha hein.
She starts to go towards his bike while rishi follows her,
Rishi: ha ha dekhlungaa tujhe.....pehle mujhe hurt kiya ab insult.I will not leave you!
Preetha: Haa haa.......mujhe bhi ankhe hein mein bhi dekhlungi tujhe!
After parking the bike, both of them enter their class.Their friends ask about her days in goa and classes get started.In lunch break,
Sandy: So ab preetha ayi na then the pub part is on!
Preetha: Pub?
Vicky: Yup! What say rishi?
Rishi: hmmm.....today evening then!
Preetha: Guys kya chal raha hein?
Rishi: ham pub ja rahe hein aaj shaam.Be ready I will pick you at 6.
Preetha: Wait.....wait....achanam pub kyun?
Rishi: Achanak kya? We planned it before we are just waiting for you.
Preetha: But I can't come.
Rishi: Why?
Preetha: I am tired Teddy.I want to take rest we will go tomorrow evening for sure.
Sandy: par....
Rishi: Shh sandy.......ok Mickey as you say we will go tomorrow evening.
Preetha smiles and they continue their lunch.At evening,preetha is very excited to go to her house,the nervousness and smile are never leaving her.
Rishi: Oho itna badi smile kyun de rahe ho?
Preetha: Ghar ja rahi hu na isiliye.
Rishi: Haaa par ghar hi tho jaa rai itna excited kyun?
Preetha: Arey teddy thumhe nai pata hein.........mein mumma,di ko dekhlungi,baath karungi unki tasty dishes khaungi,di se bahot baath karungi and.....
She looks at Rishi who is confused and then realizes what she is saying and decides to cover up,
Preetha: ma.... matlab ham tour pe the aur mein extra do din rehna pada tha so I am missing her.
Rishi : hmm......come I will drop you!
Preetha nods to him and goes with him.
Preetha(mind): Uff......Bachgayi!
Rishi is driving to Arora Mansion while preetha is nervous,excited,happy,tensed.She is waiting badly when they pull on her house road she keeps on looking at her house until rishi calls her loudly.
She comes out of her trance and realizes that they are at the entrance gate,she gets off from the bike,
Preetha: Thank you teddy.Bye!
Rishi: Thank you and no thank you.......ab chalo.
Preetha: Thum kaha ja rahe ho?
Rishi: andar aur kaha......mujhe bhi sarla aunty ko dekhna hein bahot din hogaya!
Preetha: Nai......
Rishi: What?
Preetha: matlab..........mein bahot miss kar rahi hu ma ko aur agar thum ayi tho ma mujhe bhulegi thumhare saath hi betegi so........(she starts pushing him to his bike) please come tomorrow.
Rishi: Acha theekey........mein chala raha hu.
She pushes him into his bike,
Preetha: Bye rishi
She waves excitedly and about to move,
Rishi: Ahaa wait......(he holds her hand and she turns to him) tomorrow we are going to pub and I am going to pick you up remember.
She nods and he smiles at her and goes away.Turning at her house,she breathes one time heavily and starts walking inside.
The security and the servants are surprised seeing her.She greets everyone and they return it with happy faces.They are happy to see the young girl after a long time.She enters the living area where sarla is ordering someone.Preethas eyes starts to tear up and she mumbles only a word .
Preetha: Ma......
Though it's a whisper,sarla responds to it and gets happy and shocked seeing her.She instantly gets tears while preetha runs to her and hugs her tightly.Its an emotional moment.
Sarla hugs her with tears and kisses her face and again hugs her.
Preetha: I missed you so much maa.......I missed you so much.
She cries hugging her while she hears a voice,
Voice: Achaa mujhe nai miss kiya thum?
Preetha turns to see Mahi,her sister,she smiles and mahi hugs her tightly.
Preetha: I missed you a lot di!
She wants to stop her tears but they are flowing continuously reminding how much she missed them.
Sarla: Meri bachi......kaise hein thu?
Preetha: I am fine ma.Mein bahot kush hu ki aap mujhse baath kiya finally.....thank you so much!
She hugs her again.
Sarla: kaise baath nai kartha akhir thum meri pyari bachi ho!
Mahi: Maa phir mein.....
Sarla: thu bhi......aa jaa!
The three hug and smile.
Preetha: Jeeju kaha hein di?
Mahi: Papa aur Varun conference pe gayi hein Mickey.isiliye ma ne thumse baath karne ka socha warna papa tho......
She suddenly realizes and stops in mid sentence looking at preetha,she is already in tears listening about her father.Mahi gets sad and places her hand on her hand.
Mahi: Mickey papa thumhe samjayega aur thumhe maaf bhi karega........bas thoda aur time.
Preetha nods while mahi decides to change her mood,
Mahi: waise who dropped you?
Preetha: Teddy!
Sarla comes from the kitchen,
Sarla: phir wo hein kaha?
Preetha: meine mana kiya tha ma agar wo aya tho thumhara pura concentration usi pe hoga and I can't lose this time with you.
She tells her eating the sweets,sarla smiles shaking her head.The three sit together chit chatting.
Preetha(mind): I missed you both!
