Cameron's POV
Another 5 days have passed and our game against Ireland is in two days. I'm really excited for the game even if I won't be starting, hell I probably won't even get to play but I'm still thrilled.
I talked to Diane the day after our argument and we've actually been on really good terms since then. We talked every day and I feel like our relationship is finally back on track. She's also coming to our game so that's another reason why I'm so excited about it.
Since the game is in two days we're heading to San Diego today. We had a practice this morning and then we all went out to lunch together. Now I'm currently packing while Emily's already finished and is sitting on her bed watching tv.
"Emiii" I whined trying to zip up my suitcase.
"Yes?" she asked smiling as she looked away from the tv to pay attention to me.
"Can you help me zip this up please?"
"Sure" she said and got up to help me.

We've been trying to close my suitcase for the past 20 minutes but we failed everytime so we figured that the best way to do it was if I sat on it and Emily zipped it up.
"Done" said Sonnett as she sat down and leaned against me. I wrapped my arms around her and put my head on hers closing my eyes. She's been looking out for me even more since the day she found me in the bathroom and I couldn't be more thankful for her.
"Come on, we need to get going. The bus will be here in like 5 minutes" I said as I stood up pulling Emily up with me.
As I walked onto the bus I went to my usual seat making myself comfortable as I waited for Alyssa who sat down next to me a few seconds later.
Well this is gonna be a long ass bus ride.

"Cameron wake up, we're here" I heard Alyssa say as she continued to shake me.
"No, give me five more minutes"
"If you don't wake your ass up we'll leave you here" Kling said as she jumped on me. Well, looks like Alyssa has already got out of her seat.
"Ow, alright alright. I'm up" I said pushing Meghan off of me.
We walked into the hotel we were staying at. When everyone was finally in the lobby Jill told us who we're rooming with and gave us our room keys. My roommate is Kelley so at least I'll have someone to cuddle with.
As soon as Kelley and I entered our hotel room I walked over to one of the beds and collapsed on it. It was only 10pm but for some reason I was really tired.
I felt the bed sink next to me so I opened my eyes to see Kelley already looking at me. I stood up and quickly changed into my pajamas before climbing under the covers of my bed. A few minutes later Kelley joined me.
"Goodnight Kels" I said while putting my head on her chest and cuddling into her side before closing my eyes.
"Goodnight Cam" she said as she played with my hair. And with that I was fast asleep.

The next morning I woke up to someone jumping on me so I opened my eyes to look at the person. It was none other than good ol' Emily Sonnett.
"Get off me Em" I said groaning. I tried to push her off of me but I was unsuccessful.
"No" said Emily as she stopped jumping on me. I thought she'd finally get off me but instead she layed on top of me burying her face into my neck.
"Okay, this isn't so bad" I said chuckling. My eyes slowly started getting heavier and soon I fell back asleep with Emily on top of me.

"Awww, how cute" I heard someone say but I was too lazy to open my eyes and look at who it was.
"Shut up" Emily said groaning but her words were muffled because her face was still burried in my neck.
I finally opened my eyes to see Kelley, Lindsey and Mal standing at the end of my bed smiling at us. Before I could say anything Linds unlocked her phone and showed me a picture she took of me and Emily sleeping.
"Did you really take a picture of us?" I asked her laughing. She just nodded innocently. "Alright, but please don't post it anywhere" I said more seriously this time. She nodded again.
Emily finally got off of me and stood up from my bed. I got up too and went to the bathroom to take a shower and brush my teeth. After I was done with that I walked back into the room to see that everyone left and it was only Kelley and I in our room.
"The team is going out for lunch in 20 minutes and then we're gonna take a walk around the city or something" Kelley said looking through her luggage.
"Alright" I said as I grabbed a change of clothes and walked back into the bathroom to get dressed.

"Oh my god! Look at that dog!" Rose exclaimed as we were walking down the street.
I just laughed at her "Calm down Rose"
"But it's so cute"
"I know, I know" I said still laughing. I walked over to her and put my arm over her shoulder.
It was the first time that I was walking with the youngies, but oh well there's a first for everything.
"You excited for the match tomorrow?" Sam asked as she walked up to us.
I just smiled at her before looking at my shoes thinking about tomorrow "Of course, even if I don't get to play"
I felt someone jump on my back so I quickly pulled my arm away from Rose to hold them up "I'm sure you'll get to play" said Emily.
"Whatever you say" I said before walking ahead of the others with Sonnett on my back.

"I'm tired" I said and fell back on my bed as soon as we got back from lunch with the team.
Kelley laughed as she sat down on my bed beside me "It's only 2pm"
"I don't care. Goodnight Kels." I said snuggling into Kelley's side.

Kelley's POV
Soon enough Cameron fell alseep. I put a blanket over her and turned the tv on so I don't fall asleep as well. I tried getting up to change into more comfortable clothes but as soon as I moved Cameron tightened her grip on me.
I didn't wanna wake her up just to change so I let her cuddle into me while I watched some random show.
I heard a knock on the door but since I couldn't get up I just waited hoping the person would come in. They luckily did.
Emily poked her head into the room "Hey" She whispered seeing that the young midfielder in my arms was asleep "I was gonna ask her if she wants to go for a walk but I guess not" she giggled.
"I'll tell her that you were looking for her when she wakes up." I said smiling at the girl.
"Alright, thanks. Bye Kelley." Emily said before walking out of the room.
I felt Cameron stir and I looked down to see her waking up. I looked at my phone to check the time. I didn't even notice that over an hour has passed since she fell asleep.
I just chuckled and brushed a piece of hair out of her face "Good morning"
"Morning" she mumbled into my shirt.
"Get up, Sonnett was looking for you"
Her eyes immediately shot open "What did she want?"
"She just wanted to go on a walk with you" I said smirking.
"Okay, I'll text her" she said as she got up to change.
She pulled out a hoodie from her suitcase that looked really familiar.
"Is that Sonnett's hoodie?" I asked her laughing.
She looked down at the hoodie in her hands and blushed "Yeah, I asked her if I could wear it and just never gave it back to her cause it's comfy. She wasn't looking for it tho" She said slightly chuckling.
Cameron's POV
I walked down to the lobby and saw Sonnett looking at her phone so I walked up to her.
"Hey" I said catching her attention. She looked me up and down and smiled probably noticing that I was wearing her hoodie.
"Nice hoodie."
"Thanks." I said smiling at her. She just shook her head laughing.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go get ice cream or something" she said scratching the back of her neck as if she was nervous.
"Yeah, sure. Let's go" I said grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the hotel.

"Emily stop!" I said laughing as Emily scooped up a little bit of her ice cream on a spoon and put it on my nose for the third time in a row.
"Alright, alright" she said laughing.
"You have to carry me for doing that." I said as I jumped on her back and burried my face in her neck.
"I'm fine with that."
About 20 minutes later Emily stopped and dropped me off her back. I looked up to see that we were in front of Kelley and I's room.
I hugged Sonnett resting my head on her shoulder since she was like 4 inches taller than me "Thanks Emi, I had fun"
"Me too" she said before pulling away from me "I'll see you at dinner"
"See you later" I said and opened the door to the hotel room and walked in "Hey Kel"
"Hey, did you have fun?" she asked looking up from the book she was reading.
"Yeah, we went out for ice cream." I said as I flopped down on my bed smiling.
"Nice." she said turning her attention back to her book.

"Yeah, but I don't know if I should tell her" I heard Emily say when I walked into the dining hall and me being my nosey self I decided to butt into her and Lindsey's conversation.
"Tell who and what?" I asked them as I sat down across from them next to Christen.
"No one and nothing" Emily said quickly making me furrow my eyebrows.
She's hiding something but I can't think of what it could be "Okay" I said still confused and turned to Christen for help but she just shrugged her shoulders.
Dinner went by pretty quickly. We watched one of Ireland's games since our match against them was tomorrow and we wanted to see what their tactics were.
As soon as we finished dinner, Kelley and I went back to our and decided that we're gonna watch a movie.
After about 15 minutes of arguing about what movie should we watch, I finally gave up.
"You know what, choose something while I take a shower." I got up and grabbed a change of clothes before walking into the bathroom.
As I got in the shower and let the hot water hit my body a million thoughts filled my head at the same time. They were mainly about Diane and Emily but also about the match tomorrow.
Diane and I's relationship is finally back on track. We're finally happy again. But after today I don't really know if I'm actually happy with her. Our dates and the little things we used to do...they used to mean everything to me but it just doesn't feel right anymore. Emily makes me feel the way Diane did when we first started dating but I mean she's just a friend, right? Maybe tomorrow will change things cause I get to see her again after a long time.
Little did I know that the next day would actually change things, just not in the way I wanted it to....
