~ (y/h/c/) = your hair color ~

That night you had fallen asleep peacefully. The green-blue haired man hadn't come to visit you that night, and you were quite thankful for that. You still weren't sure what was going on in this enchanted forest but you knew that you were in a lot of trouble. And you didn't even get the chance to send him a letter. Him? Who are you talking about. If you would like to say something to Lord Magnus you can say it to him directly. You placed your hand on the ring around your neck and the voice disappeared again.

It was a constant battle. Every time you tried to think about Thorin it felt like someone wanted you to forget his name. But you tried to remember yourself that you didn't grow up in this place and that you weren't married to this Lord Magnus guy. You were trying to figure out a way to get out of this place, but just like Marriet had already told you... there was no way out. Last night you had taken a walk around the castle and found that there were guards stationed at every door. Someone didn't want the girls to leave this place.

You prayed that Thorin would come and rescue you from this place but you also knew that he didn't know you had entered this forest. You were doomed and you knew it. But you wouldn't settle for this. Somehow you would find a way out of here, or your name wasn't (y/n). You got dressed this morning and when you opened your bedroom door you found that Marriet was waiting for you outside. 'How did you sleep?' she asked you and bowed her head a little. You bowed back before answering. 'I slept well, thank you, and you?'

'Me too. We must get on our way to the breakfast room. It's this way.' Marriet led the way towards the room and you couldn't believe your eyes. There were all kinds of goods on the tables, ten different kinds of pie and pudding, pastries and eggs. It all looked so good but before you could run towards it to stuff your face full with all the goodies, Marriet grabbed your arm and pulled you back. 'Don't eat to much, it only increases the spell they have put on you' she whispered in your hair. You sighed disappointed. It looked so good!

He could see the enchanted forest now, it wouldn't take them to long before they would enter it and hopefully find you. Yesterday Balin had already come to him to discuss their approach to this matter. Thorin already knew that it would prove to be a hard task to get you out of there but he didn't think it was impossible. He would do whatever it took to take you with him, even if it meant that he had to burn that whole forest down. It would be his pleasure. Balin had told him it wouldn't be the smartest decision, but Thorin didn't care. He wanted you back.

When they came close there were a few members of the company who walked in, others stayed behind in case the others wouldn't come back from their new quest. Thorin, Dwalin, Balin, Fili and Bofur went in to go looking for their three lost members. The others stayed behind. At first Thorin felt reluctant to get in when he came near the forest, but when he noticed a string of (y/h/c) hair hanging in a tree, no one could stop him from running in. His small company followed him right after and it wasn't long before they too were eye to eye with Lord Magnus.

Thorin wanted to take a step forward to tell the guy exactly what he thought of him but Balin pulled him back and talked to him in his place. 'We were on our way towards the Lonely Mountain when we were ambushed by an orc pack, we had no other choice then to seek safety in your woods' he explained to the Lord. Magnus didn't look at Balin but instead focused on Thorin. They had a staring contest and neither of them intended to let the other win. 'Led them to my castle' Magnus instructed the guards. Soon their hands were bound tightly behind their backs and they had no other choice then to follow Magnus back to his castle.

In front of the line Magnus whispered something to one of the guards who nodded and ran forward towards the castle. None of the dwarfs were happy with their treatment but Thorin didn't want them to escape, yet. They first had to find you and make sure you were alright. And, of course, find the wizard and the other woman as well. Dwalin would never forgive him if he left without Kim. They came near the building that Magnus had called his castle. 'Is this all?' Fili asked unimpressed. The guards didn't answer him, neither did Magnus.

They entered the so called castle, but it still didn't impress the dwarfs. Thorin felt sick when he entered, like there was some kind of spell cast upon this building. He had already felt it when he entered the forest. He just hoped that the legends weren't true and that you hadn't forgotten about him. He had given you his ring to make sure you wouldn't forget him, that you wouldn't forget your real past. The only thing he could do right now was pray to Mahal to make sure you had touched his ring when the thoughts had entered your mind.

After breakfast you and Marriet had gone into the garden. It was a beautiful day and some of the other girls were outside as well. The two of you decided to sit somewhere far away from the other girls, you still had questions you wanted to ask. 'Why are there so many girls?' you asked in a whispery voice. Marriet looked around to make sure there was no one nearby who could hear them talk. 'I don't know. I think it is because he wants to have a wide choice of young women to sleep with. But I don't know for sure...' You looked around to study the girls around you. Their hair was mostly green-blue and their eyes were hollow.

It felt like they didn't have their own personalities anymore. They didn't remember who they were and where they had come from. 'Has anyone ever escaped from here?' Marriet quickly signalled you to be silent when two girls walked by. The two of you smiled back at them and pretended to be happy. When they had disappeared your smile quickly faded. 'No, at least, not as far as I know. I think most of the man are scared to enter this forest or just don't succeed in entering. I don't know...' Marriet's face suddenly turned white and her face was unreadable. 'What's wrong?' you asked.

When you turned around you saw a guard coming towards you. Something in your stomach told you to run but you knew you wouldn't get far. You didn't have a place to run to. You were trapped. The guard grabbed your arm and pulled you up without saying a word. 'What's going on?!' you asked while trying to free your arm. But the guard was to strong and you couldn't pull your arm back from his tight grasp. He pulled you behind him through several hallways, the only thing you could tell that you were walking down, into the dungeons.

The walls down there were only made of stone, unpainted, and a cold stream of wind blew through it. It gave you the chills and something told you that you should have tried to run when you had the chance. The guard pulled you into a small room and you were shocked to see what the room held in store for you.

It was a torture to wait in the grand hall. Magnus had decided he would first 'enjoy his breakfast before he would talk to the beasts', the beasts indicating the dwarfs. Thorin wanted to draw his sword and slice his head off but his hands were still tight behind his back. There was nothing he could do about it now. After an hour Magnus returned, an evil smile dancing on his lips. What was he up to? Thorin thought. He sat down on his throne and looked at the company in front of him. He placed his fingertips against each other and stared at them.

Before Balin could stop him Thorin already stepped forward and bellowed: 'What have you done to her?!' Magnus smiled and started laughing hysterically. It took a while before he pinked a tear away from his eye and chuckled. 'You are talking about (y/n), am I right? It's such a pity you know, she was so beautiful and she had a lot of potential. I would have made her my most honourable bride but that was until you entered my forest.' Magnus smiled in an evil way and Thorin felt his blood pumping through his veins.

'Where is she?' he hissed. Magnus got up slowly and walked towards a girl who was holding a glass of wine on a plate. The girl looked just like him, with green-blueish hair, but with a hollow look in her eyes. 'So the legends are true' Bofur whispered behind him. But Thorin didn't care about the legends being true or false, that guy had his One hidden in this castle and he wanted her back. Right now. Magnus took a sip before gesturing the guards to free the dwarfs. He turned towards Thorin and smiled wickedly.

'I think that as we speak your One is already cut in half, down in the dungeons. If you'll hurry you can find her before we dispose of her.' But Thorin didn't hear the last part. He had already stormed out of the room, in the way he thought the dungeons were at, to find his One. Hopefully in one piece.

'I don't know how we're going to get out of here Kim. But I have a feeling we won't be staying here for much longer' Gandalf said. Yesterday, after you were taken away, him and Kim were thrown into a jail. They were both worried about your safety and had tried to escape, but they couldn't find a way out. Kim got up when she heard something that sounded like heavy footsteps and people shouting at each other. She walked towards the bars and tried to find the source of this noise. Gandalf put a hand on her shoulder and pulled her back a little.

'I think our rescuers have arrived' he said in his famous way. And surely a few moments later Thorin came into view and Dwalin followed closely behind him. They saw them and quickly Thorin swung his axe to break through the bars. Dwalin helped Kim to climb out while Thorin already ran further down the hallway. 'They brought her to the dungeon Gandalf! Where is it?!' he shouted back at the wizard. 'To the right!' he quickly replied and followed the dwarf before he would disappear out of sight.

When they had turned right, left, right, right, left, turning back and taking another right, they heard screams coming from nearby. Thorin ran faster and Dwalin followed close by. When they reached the room the screams were loud, but the only thing Kim could see before Fili pulled her back was this: you lay on a table, your arms tied together above your head, your feet tied together as well. And a huge swinging blade barely inches away from cutting through your stomach. Thorin and Dwalin ran in and the last thing Kim saw were your horrified, pleading eyes.
