august 22 monday
i woke up, my head was kinda hurting i don't know why. i groaned as i sat up from my couch, wait my couch? i looked around too see kairi knocked out on the floor, roshaun passed out by me and y/n on the other couch. i jumped and stood up looking around once again and all i saw was my mom staring at my weird. i looked at the clock by the tv.
8:38 am
a: mom?!
mom: what?!
a: SCHOOL! WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP
mom: alex there's no-
i started shaking roshaun, then kairi, and y/n. y/n didn't budge and kairi didn't either but roshaun got up a little and looked up.
mom: ALEX
a: WHAT?!
mom: there's no school!
a: yes it's monday!
mom: you're a junior, today is only for freshman's
a: what?
mom: yes didn't you read the back to school packet i gave you from passaic
a: ...
i stood there, silent
mom: hm, read next time
a: oops...
mom: before your friends sleepover ask next time, your dad was mad on his way to work seeing this
a: oh sorry...
mom: he doesn't want your friend sleeping on the floor or couch
a: oh
mom: well have the guest room set up by the end of this week okay then you can start asking
a: yeah of course sorry mom
mom: don't worry, you guys should get out. go to the park and get some air. enjoy your guys last day before school starts.
a: yeah we will love you mom
mom: love you too
my mom headed back into her room with her coffee. i sat back down confused by then roshaun sat up confused as well.
a: dude we don't have school
r: what?
a: yeah i gotta tell mattia and alvaro
i called mattia. roshaun called alvaro.
m: what's up
a: we don't have school
m: i know my mom told me
a: oh
m: what?
a: you weren't gonna tell me
m: i texted you, bumblefuck
a: oh shit
m: ha, yeah. i'll talk to you later
a: ok bye
me and roshaun got done with the phone calls, he said alvaro found out when he walked into the school and got told it was a day for freshman's. me and roshaun started rolling, it ended up waking y/n up.
she gave us a death stare for waking us up then her eyes widened. me and roshaun both told her there was no school and she didn't believe us so her dumbass walked all the way upstairs to my moms room to go ask her. she came back in relief considering she looked like a mess.

a: just saying
y/n: ok and ur ugly

a: yeah exactly y/n
she rolled her eyes at us and my mom came out once again with some "news"
mom: look at around 5pm no hanging out
a: but why
mom: we are having dinner
a: we have dinner every night?
mom: no with people
y/n: ???
mom: we are going over to someone's house
a: OH, the girl i told you about
mom: yes me and her mom got off the phone and agreed to go tonight, we are gonna take the car because it'll be a 2 minute drive okay
y/n: sounds good to me
mom: ok good don't forget guys
our mom left going back to her room.
r: yo i gotta go my dad blowing up my phone he probably gonna beat my ass
a: shit better get to running
r: imma order a uber
y/n: good luck at home
r: thanks see y'all
r walked out in panic hoping he won't get in trouble. me and y/n stared at each other. it was already 9 on the dot. i'm lucky today wasn't our first day it would've been bad already since i would've been late and looked like a mess. i got up and woke kairi up, took a couple shoves but he got up eventually. the first thing i said is there's no school, he remembered that it was only for freshman's.
k: shit were all dumb huh
a: yeah basically
k: shit i should get going i didn't even tell my mom about it
a: oh yeah it's cool...
k: fuck i got a fucken headache
a: me too
y/n: losers, you guys aren't used to the rides
k: haha funny anyway i'll see you guys later
kairi got up, shook us up and left. me and y/n stared at each other once again, always. anyway i went in my room to workout. i played some music off my tv and started my workout. i posted a lil something for my fans on snap : )
y/n pov:
ugh, thank god we didn't have school today because i was not ready at all. we woke up so late, school starts at 7:45 and we woke up at like 8 something. very late, we wouldn't have even ended up going. i think the schools like a 15 minute drive, pretty close by so i'd probably try waking up early some days to skate to school.
i'm excited too see how this school year will be since i will be going into school with some friends and maybe i could make more. i haven't been skating a lot since we been here so i should go do that right now. i got ready, brushed my teeth,changed whatever and went to go skate around my block.
y/n fit
i had my airpods in listening to some tame impala, riding around looking. it was really sunny today but not too hot thank god, the pants i wore today were really thick. after a hour of cruising and just trying to skate fast again so i can be prepared for when i have to ride to school. me or alex don't have a car so we're probably gonna have to take the bus and i rather skate then go on that smelly shit show.
kairi pov:
i walked in my door and my mom hugged me. she was scared that i wasn't picking up my phone when i was just sleeping, i forgot to tell her i was gonna sleep over at my friends house. she was just glad i was safe and with my friend. not hurt or anything, my sister looked at me, disappointed. i felt bad, because me and her usually get along really well but i guess today she was pretty mad. then i realized.
k: why aren't you at school?
k sis: because we were worried about YOU
k: oh
k sis: you can't just leave and not come back
k: n- no i- i know i just i forgot ok
k sis: don't do it again kai you're 17, act like it
she stormed off in her room as tears filled up my eyes. my mom didn't want me leaving at all today she just wanted me in the house so i did that.
k: when's my doctor appointment?
k mom: on saturday
k: oh i thought it was in a week or two
k mom: no you probably forgot but it's this week and i think we are gonna try get medication and see if it works or not.
k: yeah....
k mom: what's wrong?
k: mom everything, why do i only have it.
k mom: people have it, it just happens kai
k : but my friends don't have it, no one else in the family does just me. is something wrong with me?
k mom: no kai it just happens okay

i tried putting a smile on my face but i just couldn't.
i went in my room and just layed there, feeling too much. too much feelings, being felt. i felt sad, mad, happy. i don't know. i felt happy that i had friends that i care about. i felt sad that my best friend mattia isn't talking to me still. i feel mad that i cant do anything to get rid of this adhd, it's just so hard to hide it. i don't think they noticed, sometimes i get hyper but i think they just think i'm being a "crackhead" which is good i don't want them knowing i have adhd. i just want it to be over with, i don't wanna deal with this anymore. at all.
alejandro pov:
a couple hours passed by and i hopped in the shower to get ready for the dinner with, melanie. i'm not gonna lie i was kinda excited? me and her might not know each other that well but she seemed pretty nice and she was cute. i put on some white air forces along with blue jeans and a white shirt. very basic but casual outfit, i headed for the car keys and went to start the car while the rest of my family were coming. they all got in the car and over we drove to her house. we all got out and went up to her door, i knocked. her mom opened the door and welcomed us in there house, they had a chandelier and it looked like REALLY nice.
we sat down, my family was across hers, she was a only child i noticed. my parents and her parents talked, just adult things i guess i don't know. i couldn't even focus on eating because she was looking really cute, her hair was really curly right now. more than it was when i first met her, she then said.
"what?"
a: oh nothing
i said, eating.
m: oh well how's the food?
a: really good right, y/n
y/n: yeah it's really good
a: you go to passaic right?
m: yeah i have been since last year
a: oh so since you were a sophomore
m: no i'm a sophomore right now
a: oh, really?
m: yeah does it not look like it?
a: oh i just assumed we were the same age
m: how old are you?
a: 16, turning 17 next week
m: oh cool, i'm a october baby
a: oh that's cool, what day?
m: 19th

m: you don't talk much
she looked at my sister.
y/n: oh sorry enjoying the food a bit too much

y/n: yeah my birthday isn't all the way till december

m: well it was nice meeting both of you, maybe we could become good friends at passaic

we all had conversations, her dad asked me abojt what sports i play and y/n's. after a hour and a half we left. i had a good time, it wasn't nothing heavy but i still have a good time. melanie was cute, she was chill and i'm probably gonna ask her if she wants to hangout somewhere just me and her.

we got home, and we actually had to fucking wake up tomorrow for school. when we got back it was like almost 7, since i showered before we left i just put some sweats on and took off my shirt and layed down. i wanted to wake up early and look good tomorrow. i put my phone to the side & knocked out.
