It's been a week since Sebastian and I broke up. At first it was hard. I blamed myself. I would think that it is my fault that he cheated but then, I remembered something. That it wasn't my fault. He is the idiot he. I didn't do anything wrong. I was just being friends with someone. He actually cheated. I have been a lot better lately. I feel more confident in myself. It's awesome. Blaine wasn't doing as great and he had his audition but turned down the role of Danny and is going to be the Teen Angel instead. I felt bad for him. This breakup with Kurt was really hitting him. Oh and also, Mercedes and Mike are here to help with the musical and Finn is helping direct which is awesome. I was walking down the when I saw Sam and Blaine. I walk up to them and squish myself in between the and put my arms around their shoulders.
(Mia) "How are my two favourite boys?"
(Sam) "Favourite? I thought that would be Puck?"
(Mia) "Well he graduated do now you are."
(Sam) "How lucky."
(Mia) "Oh come on. You love me."
(Sam) "Of course. You are like a sister to me."
(Mia) "Aww thank you Sammy. Hey I was thinking, maybe the three of us could sing together in glee."
(Blaine) "I don't know if I am up to it."
(Sam) "Come on. It might help. What song were you thinking?"
(Mia) "Shut up and Dance?"
Sam grabbed me by the hand and I grabbed Blaine's as we ran down the halls to the choir room. Once we got to the door of the choir room, Sam started to sing.
Sam (with Mia):

I grab Blaine by the hands and start to dance with him a bit when we got to the centre of the room.

The three of us started to make up some choreography on the spot performing for the rest of the glee club. It was fun.

Everyone started to applaud and we bowed slightly smiling.
(Mr. Shue) "Guys! That was great! What got you guys to perform this?"
(Mia) "Well, with everything that is gong on in everyone's personal life I thought this might help cheer us all up. Also a welcome back song for Finn, Mercedes and Mike was needed."
(Mercedes) "You better be auditioning for Sandy. 'cause girl I will be mad if you don't."
(Mia) "Of course I am"

Talking about auditions, it is time for mine. I stood on stage and waited for the music to start. I was going to sing an acoustic version of 'Lush Life'.
Mia:

(Mercedes) "Girl you were amazing just like always."

Well apparently I wasn't good enough. I have to do a call back. Myself, Marley and Kitty were going for Sandy and some guy called Ryder and Jake were going for Danny. Since there were three girls and two boys I got Mike as my dance partner. The rest of the glee club plus Artie and Finn were in the audience. I stood next to Mike and Mercedes was on the other side of him.
(Mercedes) "All right! You guys killed your auditions, but there can only be one Sandy and there can only be one Danny."
(Mike) "The heart of Grease is the Danny-Sandy romance. This callback is all about the chemistry. We want to see how well you play off each other. Is there heat?"
(Finn) "We also want to see how you sing and dance '50s-style.That's why we gave you the audition song ahead of time."
(Ryder) "I don't really read music, so..."
(Mike) "It's okay. Mercedes and I will get you started."
(Kitty) "Start away. Everyone knows Kitty cat's gonna finish it."
(Mercedes) "Oh, you have a lot of attitude, little girl. Let's see if you have the stuff to back it up. Hit it."
The music starts to play and Mercedes walks to the middle of the stage and we all start to clap in time. Mike grabbed my hand we danced up to her and the three of us did the hand jive.
Mercedes:

Mercedes and Mike started to show the others what to do as I stayed front and center doing it while adding in my own twist.
Mercedes and Mia:
With her stomach bouncing all around

Mercedes went front and center as we all paired off and started to dance.
Marley and Mercedes:
"I could barely walk when I milked a cow

Marley and Ryder:
"The townfolk clapped, I was only five

Mercedes with Kitty, Mike, Ryder, and New Directions:

All the pairs took it in turns to do and it was Mike and my turn. I did a run up twisting flip over Mike who was crouched down on the floor and the turn back around to face him as he picked me up and spun me around a bit.
Mercedes:
"How low can you go?"
We started to do the hand-jive again going as low as we can.
Marley:
"How low can you go?"
Ryder:
"How low can you go?"
Jake:
"How low can you go?"
Marley, Jake and I were the last two going.
Jake:
"Higher!"
Ryder:
"Higher!"
Marley:
"Higher!"
Mercedes:
"And higher, yeah!"
I started to dance with Ryder and it was fun. Kitty, Marley and Jake were occupied with something.
Ryder with New Directions:
"Now can you hand jive, baby?"
Mia and Mercedes with Ryder, Kitty, Mike, and New Directions:
"Oh can you hand jive, baby? (Mercedes: Baby, yeah!)"
Everyone came up on stage and I continued to dance with Ryder.
Ryder and Mia with Kitty, Mike, and New Directions:

At the end of the song we all cheered and Ryder hugged me. Something I wasn't expecting but I hugged back. After we let go I hugged Mike.

We were all waiting at the pin board waiting for the cast list to come out. I then see Mercedes, Mike, Artie and Finn come this way. I see Mercedes wink at me and I smile back. Finn puts the cast list up. One by one everyone goes up and they seem happy. Except for Jake. Marley, Kitty and I are the last one lefts to find out who we got. I walk up to the list and scroll down until I find my name.

Finn nods his head and I run up to him and give him a massive hug.
(Mia) "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
I let go of him and walk over to Blaine and link arms with him. Marley walks up to it and then looks back. She looks a bit disappointed.
(Marley) "Cool..."
Kitty then pushes past everyone to have a look.
(Kitty) "Patty Simcox? Patty Simcox? Who the hell is Patty Simcox?"
She turned to the rest of us looking mad.
(Kitty) "I prayed really hard about this."
(Joe) "Maybe God didn't hear you because he was busy helping people with cancer."
(Kitty) "Shut it, Avatar."
She then turned to Jake.
(Kitty) "This is your fault. You screwed up "Hand-Jive.""
(Jake) "No, I didn't. We were both great. It just didn't work out."
(Kitty) "I've been hearing that a lot lately from you."
Kitty pushed past me and then turned back to face me.
(Kitty) "I know you think you are great and an amazing singer but you are not better than us at all. They only casted you as the lead because they didn't want to hurt your feelings. They just hope that you get sick or get run over by a bus on opening night so then Marley can take your part. It is why the gave you an understudy right?"
I look down at my feet. Was what she said true? I then saw Kitty face Marly.
(Kitty) "One little thing, Honey Boo Boo. I know a good hot meal is hard to resist, especially when you are on the free lunch program, but remember, the stage always adds at least ten pounds. In your case, closer to 90. So, when you and your mum, Strawberry Hugecake, are Dumpster diving for your costume, keep on picking till you find something slimming. Like a black Hefty bag."
Kitty then turns back around and walks away. I see Sue walk this way.
(Sue) "Mia, my baby needs to be fed."
Sue looks at all of us and the walks over to the cast list. After a bit she turns to face Finn and glares at him and walks away. I can't believe that I am going to be Sandy. Wow....
