"How can I help you?" a woman asked. I could tell by her scent that she was human. Her eyes were locked on Adrian, as she asked this and she was definitely undressing him with her eyes, as they roamed everywhere over his body. She was barely dressed, in a tight white top that was definitely three sizes too small, that exposed her stomach and black booty shorts that barely covered her ass. She was leaning over the desk, her boobs spilling out of the top. I rolled my eyes at how desperate she looked.
"We have a table reserved under the surname Lockwood" he answered. I noticed Adrian didn't even glance at her, as he looked around uninterested. I smirked and saw her glare at me. "Can you hurry and show us to our table, Miss. My boyfriend and I are very hungry" I said, as I looked to Adrian and noticed his eyes widen slightly, before his famous smirk made an appearance.
"Yes, of course. Follow me" she said with a fake smile, as she led the way to a table near the back. She exaggerated her movements, swaying her lips a lot causing her to wobble slightly in her long heels, with every step she took. She was clearly trying too hard to get Adrian to look at her ass. Sapphire growled in my mind at this bitch's desperate attempts to catch our mate's attention. I felt Adrian's eyes on me and looked to see his eyes locked on me with a knowing smirk.
We arrived at a table and the waitress finally left us. Adrian pulled a chair out for me as I sat down, then walked around the table and sat opposite me.
"Were you jealous of that waitress? Adrian smirked as he looked through the menu. He definitely already knew the answer. My cheeks burned as I cleared my throat.
"No. Of course not. Don't flatter yourself" I lied. "I can see straight through you, amore" he said, his voice low and husky, as he looked up at me.
"Are you ready to order Miss" a waiter said, as he stood to my right. I looked up and noticed he was quite young looking, perhaps one year older than me. His eyes were fixed on me and I noticed him checking me out. He was good on the eye but was nowhere near as gorgeous as my mate. I heard Adrian growl and the waiter quickly diverted his eyes from me and looked at Adrian. I smirked at Adrian's jealousy.
"One dish of calamari, two Sirloin steaks, medium rare" Adrian said, with a gruff voice.
"And what drinks Sir?" the waitress asked, his voice quick and his eyes wide in fear.
"Pinot Noir Red Wine. The bottle." Adrian answered. I noticed the waiter's eyes widen at this. Adrian was rich, so I wasn't surprised that he had ordered a bottle of the most expensive wine on the menu. The guy quickly walked away after telling us our order will be back in 10 minutes. Fast service.
"What are you thinking about?" Adrian brought me out of my thoughts. I smirked, before answering "You" his brows raised and a smirk made its way on his face. Adrian and his stupid, gorgeous smirks. "You were jealous of that waiter" I stated, with a laugh. His smirk fell slightly, before he answered "No. I wasn't jealous. I just don't like anyone else looking at what's mine" My smirk dropped and my eyes widened. I felt my cheeks heat up, as I tucked some loose hair behind my ear.
"So, let's play a game" he said as he sat back in his chair and folded his arms across his chest. His muscles strained against his tight shirt and my mouth watered at the sight. Damn, he definitely worked out.
"What kind of game?" I questioned as I imitated his movement and sat back, crossing my arms. His eyes dropped to my cleavage that got pushed up by my crossed arms. I didn't exactly have the smallest boobs. I smirked as I noticed his eyes darken as he took his lip between his teeth. Oh how I wish I could bite those soft lips instead. My panties dampened as desire pooled between my legs.
He cleared his throat and diverted his eyes to look at my face "Let's play 21 questions. You start"
"Ok, um how about...what's your favourite colour?" I decided to start with the typical starter question.
"How boring. I thought you'd try and get some juicy information" he said, with a chuckle before answering "if it wasn't obvious my favourite colour is black. It matches my soul" I noticed his eyes glaze and his brows furrow, as if he was remembering something.
"What do you mean like your soul?" I asked.
"Uh uh. It's my turn to ask you a question" he smirked. "Do you like me?"
I knew I couldn't lie to him. "Yes. What about you? Do you like me? I asked back.
"Yes. I like you a lot" he said. My heartbeat increased and a smile made its way on my face "How many boyfriends have you had?"
I had only been in one relationship afew years ago, but it only lasted four months until I found out he cheated on me. "1. How many girlfriends have you had?"
"0" he said. I don't know why but I felt relieved that he hadn't had any girlfriends.
"Your turn" I prompted.
He thought for a few moments before looking at me with a serious expression "Are you a virgin?"
I was taken aback by this and I couldn't help but blush. Why did he have to be so forward?
"Yes" I said, with my head high. There was nothing to be ashamed of. I was waiting for my mate.
His eyebrows raised in surprise. Why was he so surprised that I was a virgin? "What about you?" I asked.
He diverted his eyes and looked ashamed. I remembered Samantha and I felt a pang of hurt in my heart. "No"
I was about to question him about Samantha, but the waiter came with our food.
I cut into the steak and had a bite and couldn't help but moan. It was so delicious.
"Stop making that sound or I'll bend you over this table and take you right here" Adrian said, with his voice husky and his eyes dark. Just the thought of him doing that sent shivers down my spine and my mind filled with images, as I bit my lip.
To distract myself from these thoughts, I took a bite of the calamari and it tasted heavenly.
"Omg this is sooo good" I said in ecstasy, as I continued eating it.
"I know something else that would taste better" Adrian retorted, suggestively with his famous smirk painted on his face.
I decided to be abit brave and tease him back. "Oh really and what is that?" I said, my voice dropping a few octaves as I leaned forward on the table, no doubt exposing my breasts to him. His eyes immediately dropped to my cleavage and he clenched his jaw.
"I was talking about the wine." he said quickly and grabbed his glass taking a big sip. "Ofcourse you were." I replied as I repeated his actions and had a taste of the wine. It was so strong but so delicious. I finished my glass and refilled it before drinking some more, all while maintaining eye contact with Adrian, whose eyes were darkening every second.
