Preetha is shocked to see karan.She didn't speak anything but stayed still.Understanding her condition,he pulls her to him and rubs his nose with her's.
Preetha(slowly): Karan!
He smiles and she smiles widely,she hugs him wrapping her hands around his neck.He is surprised by her sudden hug but hugs her back.
Preetha: kaha chala gaya thum? Mujhse bina bataye hmmm.sab bata rahe hein ki thum wapas chala gaya. Thumhe pata hein mein kitni pareshan hogayi hu aur thum meri calls bhi nai utha rahi ho
Karan: Shuuuuuu!
She is about to speak but he holds her closely making her silent,she closes her eyes and lives that moment.They stay until their hearts get calmed.Taking a heavy breath they come out of hug,
Preetha: ab bathao mujhe chodkar kyun chala gaya hmm?
She asks cutely,he smiles seeing her
Karan: thumhe chodkar mein kaha jaungaa?
Preetha: fir kaha tha thum subah se?
Karan(sighs): kuch kaam aa gaya so ....
Preetha: meri calls kyun nai utha?
Karan: I .....I was busy.
Preetha: mereliye bhi?
Karan(cups her face): thumhareliye kabhi bhi nai!
He kisses her forehead,she smiles.
Preetha: thumhe pata hein jab Meera ne...
She then realizes that her group was present there.
Preetha: Ohhh shit! I have to go it's boarding time.Meera mereliye wait kar rahi hogi sab log mereliye wait kar raha hoga!
She was speaking when karan cups her face calming her,
Karan: Koi bhi thumhareliye wait nai kar raayi. They already boarded the plane and the plane took off.
Preetha(shocked): kya? Par mein kaise jaungi?
Karan: mein yaha hu thum uske saath jaake kya karogi?
Preetha(confused): matlab?
Karan: Goa is waiting for us......
Preetha(confused): What?
Karan: Yes! I messaged rishi that you suddenly met your uncle and you need to stay here for 2 more days.And they flew away!
Preetha(widens her mouth too): Oh my god!How ?
Karan: It's karan sweetheart.Everything is possible for me!
She smiles and kisses his cheek.She wraps her hands around his neck.Karan widen his eyes and looks around.
Karan(whispering): yeh airport hein......
Preetha: aur yeh goa hein......kuch bhi chalega.
Karan giggles at her answer.
Preetha: So.....?
Karan(joiningtheirforeheads):Only ....You.....me .....bike....baarish.... goa!
They smile and move out.Karan got on his bike,preetha sat back,he raised the accelerator,she hugged him tightly and they vanished in the air.
MUMBAI
The group reached mumbai and dispersed to their houses with their luggage of memories.Rishi got back home and hugs his mother tightly.
Rachana: Hey Rishi......
She hugs him.
Rishi: I missed you mom!
Rachana: missed you too.....glad that you are back!
Rishi comes out of hug and she kisses his forehead.He sits on bed removing his shoes,
Rachana: So how's your trip?
Rishi: Super mom!
Rachana: Ofcourse it should be after all Mickey and you are there together.You might have enjoyed to your fullest.hmmm?
Listening her name,his smile drops.
Rachana: Fresh up fast and come down,we will dine together.
He nods when she walks away he thinks about her words.
Rishi: Are we really together?
He is thinking about her when he remembered her message,he immediately calls preetha.
HILL TOP,GOA
Preetha and karan are on hill top.Karan went to get some drinks while preetha is enjoying the vibe sitting when her phone rings.Seeing the name,she gets shocked but didn't get the heart to ignore his call.Taking a deep breath,she lifts the call.
Preetha: Hello
Rishi: kya hein yeh sab.....achanak se yeh uncle kaha se aaya aur thum kyun chali?
Preetha: La.....last minute decision rishi I couldn't do anything.
He sighs and after a minute,
Rishi: hmmm......thum theek hona?
Preetha: haa mein theek hu.
Rishi: patha hein thumhe mein kitna dar gaya I was about to get out from the flight but your message stopped me.Actually I should have done that,we would have been together.
He really regretted as whereas Preetha who is already feeling bad for the lie,
Preetha(sadly): No.....it's all my fault.i should have told you before but .....I ....I couldn't.i am sorry.
She is feeling really sad.
Rishi: Stop it yaar.....why are you saying sorry ? Aise nai ki thum jaan buchke mujhe jhut bola hein.......Thumhe bhi nai pata hein.
He was not happy about all this,on top of it he feels something is wrong.He asks again just to assure himself that nothing is wrong.
Rishi(unsure): thum jaan buchke nai kiya heina?
Closing her eyes she just humms not able to say anything.Rishi smiles.
Rishi: Then it's ok.
She is silent.
Rishi: ab zyada socho math bolo ki kab aa rahe ho?
Preetha: after two days.
Rishi: 2 days? You said only one day.
Preetha: haa but I should stay with him teddy.........He is important.
Rishi sadly sighs.
Rishi: Ok...... take care then.
Preetha: you too and.......(rishi waits) I am sorry teddy.
Rishi: Hey forget about it.Sometimes it happens so just forget and enjoy yourself.
Preetha humms.After a min,
Rishi: I .....I.....I miss you Mickey.
Preetha smiles.
Preetha: zyada miss math karo..... you just have 2 days of freedom uske baad....
Rishi(curiously): uske baad.....
Preetha: uske baad mein thumhari dimaag khaungi!
She laughs and he smiles!
Rishi: I am waiting then .....come soon.Bye.
Preetha: Yeah .....bye!
He puts off the phone.
Rishi: I am waiting Mickey!
He smiles and goes to fresh up.
GOA
Preetha smiles remembering him but again feels bad about the lie just then karan came there with soft drinks and sit beside her.
Karan: Ye lo thumhari favourite.....
Preetha slightly smile and takes it.
Karan: Ummm....it's so good.Right?
Preetha humms but doesn't take a sip from her drink.
Karan: kya hua?
Preetha doesn't look at him.
Karan: Kya hua preetha?
Preetha(sighing): Rishi called me and
Karan: and asked you about the sudden message and told you to take care of yourself and maybe he also said he misses you.hmm?
Preetha widen her eyes wondering how come he know what exactly rishi said.
Preetha(amused): thum.....thumhe kaise bata rishi ne kya kaha?
Karan(lightly): thumhari best friend hein obviously yahi bolega!
Preetha: B...but how could you understand him this much?
Karan: I understand you not him.
Preetha frowns.
Karan: By looking at your face I can say what's going on in your mind.
Preetha: Ahaaa .......tell me what's going on in my mind now at this second?
Karan: You just want to remove all the thoughts and go to bed!
Preetha widen her eyes again,
Preetha: ka.....kaise?
Karan laughs and hits her head lightly,
Karan: You are cute you know that?
Preetha: Answer me karan!
Karan: Thumhari jaise sleeping Mickey ko neend ke alawa kya chahiye?
He laughs,She narrows her eyes and hits his arm.
Karan: Ouch! Lag rahi hein mujhe
Preetha: Isiliye tho maar rahi hu!
She stops and stands to go to the edge.Goa is really a night city. Happiness is available 24/7.Rubbing her arms,she was standing at the edge seeing the pleasant night without any hustle.She was just feeling it when karan backhugs her.After a minute suddenly,
Preetha: karan kaha the thum shaam tak?
He sighs.
Karan: Ghar mein.
Preetha: kyun?
Karan: I thought I need to have sometime for myself.
Preetha turns her face looking at him,he is not looking at the parties down the hill but up straight at the moon.
Preetha(gently): You are hurt.....right?
Then he looks at her who is already looking at him,
Karan: aur wo kyun?
Preetha: kal ki wajah se........ yesterday was a difficult day.Trip,ghar next party aur mujhe chot lagana aur......(she looks at his eyes) Rishi.
She is not sure about the last part but had a gut feeling.
Karan: thumhe Lagtha hein ki mein hurt hona chahiye?
Preetha looks at his face once which is calm and pleasant,then she lowers her eyes saying nothing to him.
Karan: If I take it as yes from you then yes.......I was hurt.
She instantly lifts her head to look at him,he is looking at the moon still holding her.
Karan:Last night,when he said he is there for you and you doesn't need anything or anyone I .....I don't know what to do.I got so disturbed so weak at that moment that I could not be there with you.I just wanted to have some time to figure myself.............Mujhe bura laga preetha because I want to be the first person to take care of you,I want to be the first one who pampers you,i want to be the first person with whom you can share your worries,I want to be the first person to give you happiness because(into her eyes)....... you are my first love.I want myself to become first person in your life.
His hold gets tighten but he looks away
Karan: But you had a life before us,in which you had many important and lovely people.One of them is Rishi......I know you both are friends from childhood and he wants to be with you in every situation because he was there with you when you even don't know that I exist.But he is not what I care he is not who is important to me(looking at her)...........it's you.It's you who I care the most,who is most important to me and who I love.And I know you have the same place for me in your life which I have for you in mine.After realizing this,I couldn't stop myself running to you.
Finishing his feelings,karan looks at preetha who is looking at him with tiny tears but her eyes hold amusement.He wipes away the tiny ones from the corner of her eyes,she smiles and looks at the moon.The moon seamed really beautiful to her than it was.She leaned her hand to his face to bring his face nearer to her's such that their cheeks rub each other completely.
Stroking his cheek with her's and his other cheek with her hand,
Preetha: I am feeling complete........(holding his face closely to hers)with you.You make me complete.Thank you so much!
She says it in a very seren but firm tone.She turns slightly to look at him,his eyes locking with her's,her one hand on his hands which are on her waist,her other on his hair stroking it gently,
Preetha: Ab bathao meri dimaag mein kya chal rahi hein?
He is kinda surprised and confused,he remains silent.Preetha pushes his face gently to her's making their noses touch.
Preetha(whispering): bathao
For a moment he just saw her,
Karan(pleasantly): mein batha nai saktha but kar saktha hu!
Saying it,he locks her lips with her's.On the hill top,at the edge,they kiss each other with a smile on their faces bringing smile to nature too as they felt a cool breeze.And the moon got hidden in the clouds........maybe it felt shy or maybe it felt sad as it doesn't have it's love!
