Aelia's pov
(Trigger warning, panic attack)

"What are you on about" she laughed
"Explain that!" I said as I pointed to the mark on her neck
"Shit" Mia hissed and she brought her hands towards her neck. She buried her face into her palm and a blush crept onto her lips.
"You've got some explaining to do Missy" I laughed
"Ugh fine" she groaned
"I've been seeing someone for a short time now" she blushed
"I didn't know Dani was so aggressive" I smirked. Her eyes grew wide
"How did you-"
"Know? It's obvious" I laughed
"The relationship is very new-"
"So is that hickey" I laughed
"Would you shhh!" she shushed me. I held my hand up in surrender as I listened to her talk
"I really like her Aelia. She's so amazing. She hides so much pain and expresses it through humor. She's so strong and I admire her so much." the short girl said
"Awwww" I cooed. Her blush got ever deeper
"I really like her. She's helped me overcome so much stuff, especially my dumbass trance over that guy" she rolled her eyes
"Ah finally you've opened your eyes" I said
"Shut up! I was young, dumb and stupid!"
"You still are, but now you've got a girl that sucks on your neck" I laughed, Mia threw a pencil at me which I quickly dodged
"That's hot" someone said from behind us. I squinched my face in disgust as I turned back to see who it was.

"Oh for fuck sake-"
"Good morning class, Miss Sylvester isn't in today and we don't have a substitute today so you can leave the class" A teacher announced before leaving the class.
I gathered my things but it was quickly snatched out my hands by the foot fetish looking guy.
"Let me help" he said as he held my books against his chest
"I could handle it on my own, thank you very much" I said as I grabbed my books out of his hand and stormed out of class. His face alone gives me the heebeegeebees
"Aelia, wait up!" he yelled from behind me. What is wrong with people today?
I rolled my eyes and walked even faster. Where the heck is Luna?
"Aelia, give me another try" he said as he stood in front of me. Ah yes, he's fast. How could I forget he's on the football team
"I'm not interested Jake" I spat
"What if I told you I have information about your so called girlfriend that I'm sure she hasn't told you about" he smirked. I furrowed my eyebrows at him
"What could you possibly have on her?" I asked
"You have to take me back first" he smirked. I rolled my eyes and shoved past him, walking towards my locker to place my books
"Okay okay, fine! Just look at this! I told you she's a witch!" he yelled. I stopped dead in my tracks by his words. I knew something was off. Did he have proof? Should I even consider seeing his proof? Is it just a picture of his baby shrimp dick?
Yes. Baby shrimp. Because a regular shrimp is still bigger.
I was gonna regret this. But I needed answers, maybe it was just family feud. Maybe Maddy and Luna are secretly related and have a sibling rivalry.
"I used my mom's keys to the security room and found a video of what happened when I confronted Luna like the strong man I am" he smirked. Oh boy I'm really gonna regret this
My eyes trailed over the boy, he had a proud smirk on his face. His hand slipped into his jeans and pulled out his phone. I watched as he typed his password into the screen and pulled up his gallery
"You ready?" he asked
"Ready"
His fingers clicked play and I focused my eyes on the screen. It was Luna's car, it was reversing but Jake was in the way. He stood there with his hands folded yelling something. Luna got out the car, I remembered her outfit from the day....
Two two stood there arguing, she leaned closer to him and whispered into his ear.
I rolled my eyes, this is pointless, what exactly am I looking at?
"Jake-"
"Shh, give it a minute" he said. I glared at him and turned to face the screen once again
I looked at the video, Jake leaned forward to attack Luna. I furrowed my brows when he stood frozen in track. Luna chuckled and held her arm up. My face sunk.
My eyes and mouth stood frozen wide open in an expression of stunned and surprise, my face fell faster than a corpse in cement boots. In that instant my skin became greyed, my mouth hung with lips slightly parted and eyes grew as wide as they could stretch.
The blood drained from my face, mouth opening and shutting like a goldfish with no sound coming out, I was still as a statue, there's no fucking way. Jake's body was lifted from the ground, he looked lifeless, his body colour changed purple and the veins in his neck was visible. I almost cringed by the sight but I was too overwhelmed. Luna's hand was controlling his every movement that was physically impossible. There's no way Jake could fake this video, he isn't that bright and neither are his friends.
What is this? What does this mean? Is Luna a witch? What the actual fuck is happening!
My hands trembled as my heart pounded against my chest. My throat felt tight.
"I told you she's not human-" Jake's voice slowly became inaudible. A ringing sensation ran through my ear as my eyes scanned the room. Students glanced at me in confusion as they walked by
I didn't realize I was walking, everything felt like it was moving in slow motion. Their eyes on me felt heavy. Everything felt heavy. I held my throat, it felt like I wasn't breathing. This explains everything.
Her father, those weird flickers in her eyes. It explained everything that was happening to Jake. It explained the darkness in her eyes. She kept telling me she's the devi-

"Aelia, are you okay?" a voice rang, I stared into the soul of Luna. She stood there with a confused look on her face as she watched me up and down.
"What are you?"

Luna's pov

"Good Morning Luna" Zack smiled as I parked my car
"I'm late, I know" I said rolling my eyes
"That's okay, we actually don't have a class this morning. Miss Sylvester is sick" he said. I locked my car and we walked into the school's entrance
"Why were you in the parking lot?" I asked
"Ryan asked me to meet him, he'll be here any second" Zack smiled
"Sooooo.... Things with Ryan is heating up huh?" I teased, a blush rose to his cheek
"We're not serious or anything but... I'm starting to really like him" Zack smiled. I chuckled at the boy before me
"You should tell him how you feel" I said
"Do you think he'll wanna be serious? He's never been in a relationship before, he flirts alot but that's where it ends" Zack said
"You're pretty awesome Zack, he should already be begging for your attention" I laughed
"I'll ask him, it never hurts to try right?" Zack smiled. A car horn was heard. Our necks whipped around to see Ryan at the school gate waving at us. I gave back a small wave before patting Zack's back
"Go get him tiger" I smirked, the boy laughed and went on his way to his future child father
I let out a sigh of relief and pushed the school door open. The hallway was empty, probably because everyone's already in class or chilling in some empty classroom. I walked down the hall with a smile on my face.
It was immediately dropped when I noticed Aelia leaning against a wall, she was breathing heavily and Jake was standing there with a smirk on his face. My fist clenched, the rage rushed through my veins like a river.
He noticed me and started to run, that's right. Run. Punk ass bitch.
I hurried over to Aelia, she seemed in deep thought. Her hands flinched when I touched her. I furrowed my brows
"Aelia, are you okay?" I questioned. Her eyes finally met mine, they looked unsure. It was like staring into the soul of a complete stranger. She pulled her arms away from me
"What are you?" she said, her voice trembled
"What?" I questioned
"What the fuck are you Luna" she spat
"What are you talking about?" I asked once again
"I know you're not human Luna" she half whispered.
This is it. This is what I dreaded the most. I knew she wouldn't take it well. I couldn't blame her for the feel that she feels but it hurt. It hurts. How'd she even find out? But then again, it's not like I've been careful.
My brain stutters for a moment and my eyes take in more light than I expected, every part of me goes on pause while my thoughts catch up.
"Aelia, i-" I tired to speak but nothing was coming out. Nothing made sense.
The emotions washed over me at once. Aelia looked at me like she's never seen me before. My heart broke to pieces.
The truth hurts but secrets kill.
"I tried to tell you before"
"Tell me what Luna, what exactly are you trying to tell me?" she yelled
"I'm..... Fuck" I groaned, my hands held my head as I rested my forehead against the wall
"I'm not from earth Aelia. Okay, I'm not human" I said
"You lied to me" she mumbled
"I didn't lie, Taylor made up some story about us coming from a small village-"
"What are you" she mumbled, the tears rolled down her cheer
"Aelia, pleas-"
"Are you a demon?" she asked, her voice trembled. I nodded, and closed my eye
"You're a fucking demon. Are you fucking serious" she said in disbelief, the tears continued to roll down her eye. I clenched my jaw as I felt the stinging pain
"I never lied to you about anything Aelia. I was honest" I said
"You're. A. Demon" she spat. The anger rushed through me. I grabbed her hand and held it close to my chest
"Listen to this. I have a fucking heart, it doesn't make me less of a person with feelings. I love you Aelia" I whispered. She flinched at my words
"I fell in love with a demon" she mumbled to herself, she shook her head in disbelief and started laughing like a lunatic. Oh God I broke her
"My father's name is Lucifer" I said. Her face dropped
"Your father is the fucking devil!" she yelled. Oh for fuck sakes. Someone please get me out of this situation
"Aelia listen to me. Nothing has to change between us, I love you. I fucking love you" I yelled, the tears choked in my throat. It wasn't as painful as what came next
"Goodbye Luna" she said shaking her head
"No, stop" I pleaded. I pulled her into me by her wrist. I felt her cry against my chest
"Luna stop it" she said
"Don't go. I love you" I cried
"Luna. Let me go." she said. My chest heaved heavy as the tears finally poured out.
I've never cried. I've never cried before in my life.
"Please" I whispered.
Aelia unraveled herself from my embrace, her head was hung low and she stepped back. My eyes flickered over her. She trembled, her wrist was brought to her eye as she wiped away falling tears.
"I love you" I whispered. She said nothing. My heart broke even more than it possibly could. She turned around and left. She left with my heart. She left with half of me.
The love of my life was walking away and there was nothing I could do about it.
The adrenaline coursed through my veins. A familiar feeling builds within me that kept rising and rising. I think I might explode. Everything was spinning, the room fell heavy. My breathing rose and fell heavily.
The familiar feeling was increasing, it felt painful. It was unbearable. Everything pained. The tears fell from my eyes. I fell onto the ground. My back pressed against the lockers and my knees clutched to my chest.
Everything was hurting so bad.
And then it finally exploded.
A deafening scream ripped through my throat, it shattered the glass around. I saw the glass windows fall to pieces to my feet. My fist clenched and it glowed blue. My fist pounded against the lockers, it caused all the lockers around me to dent by the gush of wind blew from the impact. The mental dented under my touch.
I lost everything and there was nothing I could do about it.
