"And that is why we should celebrate your birthday with a birthday bash," my dad concluded.
"But Dad-" he cut me off before I finished my protest.
"No buts. It's your 20th birthday. Live a little."
"I don't think I can."
"Oh yes, I'm sure you can."
"C'mon Tris, it can't be that bad. Besides, you get to go shopping."
"Ugh, fine. I'm already losing anyways."
My Dad and Trey exchanged knowing looks with each other and I raised one of my eyebrows.
"What are you guys planning?" I asked accusingly.
"Oh, you know, nothing," Trey claimed.
"Bull," I said pointing my finger at him.
"What, it's true," he stated putting his hands up in surrender.
"Now, leave your brother alone Trisha," my Dad added.
"Yeah, Trisha. Leave me alone."
"Gah, men," I huffed exasperatedly.
I walked out of the room, calling an old friend of mine that I haven't seen in ages.
I pressed the green button and heard a very familiar sound,"Hello?"
"Alli!" I squealed.
"Trisha, haven't heard from you for awhile."
"Yeah, I know. Let's meet up, how about the mall? Starbucks? At 12?"
"Yeah sure."
"Let's go shopping together. I need to shop for my birthday bash!"
"On right, June 26."
"Yeah."
"Oh My God, I just realized something! You have the same birthday as Alpha Xavier, no way. That means you, Trey and Alpha Xavier have the same birthday!"
"Oh, really?" I asked bewildered. Asher's birthday is on 12th of June. So...
"Yeah, really. But they're not doing anything special on the actual day. They're actually having the party a week after and only the alpha's family are invited. The alpha's been back since like a week or so," she explained.
"Oh."
"Yeah, oh, so Starbucks at 12?"
"Yeah, I'll see you there."
Allison is a friend of mine from Xavier's pack. She's really cool and I met her at a pack meeting since her dad was the beta. When he died because of a rogue attack someone else stepped in. Not sure who that was.
I picked out a loose plain grey sweater with a dark blue skinny jeans. I pulled my hair back with a tribal printed headband and took my dad's credit card. Hey, it was his idea all along!
I grab my bag and hauled my butt down the stairs and get to my car. I drive to the mall at a fast rate but it's not fast enough to break any of the laws around here so I'll be okay.
I arrive at Starbucks right in time and there I see Allison on a table by the corner of the store. I order an iced caramel milk and approach her.
"Allison!" I squealed out.
"OMG Trisha!!!!" She exclaims while hugging me and kissing both of my cheeks.
"Miss 'ya girl!" She added.
"Aw. Me too."
"Come on we should catch up."
"Yeah, totally," I nod.
Then I tell her about everything that has happened in the last year. Wow I can't believe I haven't seen her in almost a year. That's quite odd because we're so close. After I'm done telling her everything she's practically squealing around the room like an idiot.
"OMG OMG OMG. YOU'RE MY LUNA I'M SO HAPPY GO CLAP YOUR HANDS OMG!"
Ohkayyyyy?
"What are you-"
"Shut up you're killing my vibe!"
"Okay sheesh, calm down okay."
"Okay, just ohmygod."
"Yeah, 'ohmygod'," I snort in a very unlady-like way while putting on air quotes in the 'ohmygod'.
"Moon Goddess, okay, let's just go shopping already you need to get ready you're supposed to look amazing it's your birthday!"
"Then leggo," I dragged her out of the super amazing coffee shop while finishing of my iced caramel latte.
Throwing it in the trash bin I surfed through Macy's and other dress shops with Allison. Her name is the same as my old homeroom adviser. Huh. Wonder why that did not ring a bell last year.
I miss the shops here, so much more complete than Jakarta. But don't underestimate Indonesia though, I learned bunch of thing there and there are so many places I want to visit one day, like Bali.
Surprisingly, my search for the perfect dress didn't take as long as I've expected it would be. I found that miraculous.
Allison got this dress which is midnight blue and it goes down to her mid-thigh. It's strapless and it also has a sweetheart neckline. It's so simple, yet so pretty. I think she's using it with her new necklace but I don't know too.
Me, however, is going with a pair of black flats and a black sling bag.
We are done with our shopping so now we are heading to Subway to get something to eat and after that, we thought that it'd be a great idea to have a sleepover.
We eat lots of candies and junk foods and then we watch bunch of chick flicks while catching up. We fall asleep the next early morning with smile on our faces. And for the first time in 6 months, I'm ALMOST content.

"You've been cordially invited to the Reynolds's Twins 20th Birthday Bash....." the invitation said.
The date of their birthday is exactly like mine. And I really have nothing to do. I need to forget Fay, so what the heck? It's not like I will sleep with anyone. I'm still loyal but I don't think I can handle the pain anymore.
My training ended about 2 weeks ago, and I moved back here around a week ago or so and so did the gang. I'm still sad, but after awhile I learned to mask my emotions and continued my role as an alpha. My pack, my responsibility.

I walked through the doors of their pack house hoping to get a good time until I smell something very familiar. No way, that's Fay's scent. How can she be here? The invitation clearly states that no human are allowed in the party. What if they will kill her? What would happen to her. Without thinking about anything else I run off to where the scent leads off.

Sh.t. He's here. How can he be here? I'll bet my car that Dad and Trey are behind all of this. Sneaky biscuits. Just wait until I smash them with a huge frying pan from iGotFryingPan.com.
I quickly shift into Fay and run to who knows where. I just leave my instincts to kick in. When I'm about to stop because I think that Xavier has lost me a hand yanked my wrist from the back making me crush to the person's chest.
I feel tingles everywhere and realizes that I'm currently squashed in Xavier. I'm trying to wiggle out my way and it's obviously not working.
"Fay, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? ARE YOU OKAY?"
"Yeah, of course I'm okay. Why would you think otherwise?" I said nervously.
"Well, for one thing, YOU ARE IN A PARTY FULL OF WEREWOLVES AND SUPERNATURAL AND YOU LEFT WITHOUT A FU-FREAKING EXPLANATION!" He yelled at me.
"STOP YELLING!" I screamed.
"Are you even human?" He asked dreadfully.
There is a long pause before I finally decided to tell him everything.
"No," I whispered.
"What? What do you mean? You smell like a human, how is that possible?"
"The same way it is possible for you to be Asher."
"Magic?"
I give him a slight nod while taking a seat in a nearby bench. He sits next to me. I begin by shifting into Trisha again. Then, I told him everything. My mom, Trey, Fay, the Andersons. Everything.
I'm finally done with my story and when I look into his eyes all I see is anger, betrayal, admiration, disappointment.
"Wow," he breathes out.
I choose to stay quiet.
"I can't believe you did that," he continued.
"I'm sorry," I said.
"Well sorry isn't going to fix everything," he snapped.
"But-"
"No Fay, I mean Trisha. You hurt me. I don't know if I'll ever be the same anymore. You're just so different."
"Then what are you proposing?" I ask quietly. Horrified on what is yet to come.
"I'm sorry Trisha, but I think we need to take a break. Let me be on my own for awhile."
"Okay," I choke with tears streaming down my face.
I don't want to hide them. I don't think I can even if I want to. The pain is too much. This is all so surreal.
"I'm sorry, but I'll see you soon," he says, kissing my forehead gently before whispering,"You're beautiful."
And on that note he leaves. Just like that.
I run up to the woods and shift. I don't care about my dress anymore. I just need to let my wolf out. Him leaving will take a tremendous toll for us I can already tell.
Once I reach the peak of a cliff I howl of sadness and agony.
Maybe, I'll somehow make it through the crash.
