I brushed off the familiar feeling inside my chest. The moment I felt his hand loosened the grip on my hand I retrieved it immediately bringing it back to my lap.

"Hey, are you not feeling well today?" A stiff smile is plastered on my face. Sehun leaned back as his hands that were once encapsulating my hand started to turn to withdraw and returned to his sides.

"Perhaps, I am." He heaved a deep sigh as he closed his eyes and let the car seat support his weight. His left hand went to his face and his slender fingers gently rest on top of his forehead. His lips parted as he exhaled sharply.

"I'm sorry." He said in a weak voice.

"Hm." I forgave him. As I fixed the way I sit I couldn't strike another conversation since the atmosphere began to be awkward.

The sound of the engine running and the soft honk of the other cars were all we could hear, if we were not careful in breathing softly it can be heard immediately. Even gulping my saliva began to take a toll on me as it was too loud for me.

"Young Miss and Sir, we are here." When I heard Uncle's voice I freely gulped the pooling saliva inside my cheeks and jolted up to look out the window.

We are just going to make a turn to arrive at the hotel's entrance. Before the car stopped I had already started to unbuckle my seatbelt and fixed my uniform. I didn't want to talk to Sehun for now so I tried my best to move without turning to his direction.

A few seconds later the car finally pulled up and Uncle unlocked the doors, as soon as the doors were unlocked my hand reached out to open it and step outside. I turned to face the door and slammed it closed.

In my field of vision Sehun is stepping out of the car too with his bag in his left hand and Uncle went out to close the door for him.

I turned around and waited for my periphery to catch a glimpse of him. He was a taller than me and his legs were long so it just took a few steps for him to reach me.

"Let's go?" I nodded in response as I try to shrug this uncomfortable feeling.

We went to the reception and got the room number we're assigned.

We've been walking for a few seconds but it felt like hours to me already, nobody was talking, all we could hear were the voices of those random people we passed by and the sound of cutleries as some servers were waiting tables.

My head was just looking straight ahead without daring to turn to his side as he was cooly walking beside me until we reached our room.

His hand reached out and opened the door, a dimmed room welcomed us.

Everyone was chatting and when they noticed the door opened and their attention were suddenly fixated on us.

"Good evening auntie and uncle." I smiled as I greeted the two people who's looks were termed as unreal because of how beautiful they look tonight.

Mother who was chatting with Sehun's parent stood up and opened her arms in midair.

"Thank goodness you're both here!" I went to her and she gave me a short hug as she eventually pulled back and went to Sehun and gave him one too as if he was also her child.

Sehun was good natured enough to receiver her dotting hug. It made me smile when I saw how uncomfortable he was of my mother dotting on him. She finally let go of him and patted his head asking him how he's been.

"Sweety, both if you sit down. You must both be famished by now." Father spoke up as his hand motioned the empty seats on each side of the table.

The table was set for eight people, my parents and brother are all seated in one side and on the other hand Sehun's parents on the opposite side. When my eyes wandered to the room, the door behind us opened and I turned out of curiosity.

The moment I turned around to see who's at the door, I met one pair of familiar eyes.

"Kid?." His voice was even better in person than through the phone, his face hasn't changed a bit! He's still the same old Suho that she played with when she was a child.

"Suho!"

Excitement filled my chest as I rushed to him and gave him a tight hug, the moment my face touched his chest an enticing scent entered my nose.

He stepped back in surprise as he caught me in his arms.

Ah, yes. This is what a man smells like.

His big hand made its way to my shoulder making a comfortable warmth and one to stroke my hair.

"I think someone missed me?" He laughed as he continued to stroke my hair neatly. I pulled back to lift my head to meet his eyes.

From his round and soft face with a clean v-line , he was wearing a simple neatly buttoned white long sleeves which was tucked in his blue pants but he looked like a prince.

I almost parted my lips in awe of his straight and pointy nose, his pale skin that accentuated his thick eyebrows and his round eyes that made dim lights in this room once reflected in it became even brighter.

How can a person be this perfect?

"Did you missed me?" I shamelessly asked him. I didn't care what my parents will say about me, this is a big moment for me to see someone that resembled my idol back before I transmigrated in this world.

Yes, aside from being a novel fanatic I was also a big fan of idols. Whenever my ultimate group would announce their comebacks expect me to be lining up in stores a day before the release to make sure I get the signed copy of their album.

"No I didn't." He said jokingly as his lips formed a small smile. He released me from the hug which also caused me to removed my hands off of him.

So soon.

"Let's catch up while eating. Everyone let's be seated. " A strong firm voice spoke. Uncle looked at everyone as he adjusted his cutleries at the side.

"I'm famished." He shyly admitted. Auntie then lightly smacked her husband as she smiled silly at him.

I took that as a chance to turn to Suho and smiled as I walked towards my seat. Everyone is now seated as we inhaled the intoxicating scent of the delicious gourmet in front of us. I placed the napkin provided on my lap as I adjusted the seat to my preference so I could eat comfortably. Brother filled my glass with water.

"Don't forget your manners jug head." He whispered as he went back to talk with the adults.

The adults went back to chat as they told us to start eating, I looked up to Suho and Sehun who were seated in front of me. Suho was smiling as he reached out for some of the roasted duck meanwhile Sehun was blankly staring at his plate like he was in deep thought.

Seeing how he was distant, I lightly gave him a kick under the table. His brows furrowed in confusion and he immediately shot his eyes at me. I rolled my eyes and pointed the dish in front of him with my lips.

Get me that food.

He wasn't so slow and got what I meant. His hands moved to his cutleries and started to get a portion of medium rare steak and he placed it to his white porcelain plate as he cut through the soft tender meat.

I gulped as I felt my saliva started to pool on my tongue, the more he cut the meat in small portions the more juices oozed out enticing me to think how it would taste in my mouth.

After he finished cutting the meat he stood up and walked to my side and replaced my plate with his serving me the deliciously prepared dish. I turned my head to him and smiled.

He nodded and went back to his seat immediately. My eyes never left him as he placed the napkin on his lap and how he placed a fisted hand over his mouth and coughed.

My head tilted as I forked out my steak.

Hm?

I don't know if it was the dimmed lights affecting my eyes but I think I saw the tips of his ears started to get red.
