It was a nice, warm day, and the S4 (S4?? s4???) were having their weekly meeting near Crusty Sean's food truck.... but of course it ended with them arguing.
"Yo, Army~ wanna come to my house later after this boring meeting~?" Aloha asked Army. "Aloha, PLEASE stop flirting with Army. This is a freaking meeting, not some party." Skull scolded. Mask just sighed, and Army shoved his face in his manuel, covering his blush. "Hey~~ I saw that blush~~~" Aloha whistled. Mask got up and tried to walk away, but Skull grabbed him and placed him down in the chair before he could escape. "End my suffering." Mask whispered, but the rest heard him just fine. "Hey, it's not like you're the only one that doesn't want to hang out with you guys!" Aloha whined. Then, a familiar voice yelled, "Sounds like you guys need a break!" The S4 turned their heads and saw Goggles holding 4 tickets.
Aloha laid back on the chair. "What makes you think that?" Aloha asked, while stretching. Goggles grinned. "Well, it's not like I stalk you or anything, but you guys recently look really stressed out and tired, and I found these tickets for a free stay at Inky Snow Resort! There was coincidentally four, and I thought, Hey! The S4 could use a vacation!" Aloha practically jumped from the chair and grabbed the tickets for him to see. "NO WAY!!! The fresh, new resort?!?! And we get to go there for free??? Goggles, you're the best!!!" Army rolled his eyes. "What's so special about this resort?" he scoffed. "Not only is it an awesome new resort, its the only resort near us that has a whole skiing area, and-" The rest of the S4s didn't look interested, which Aloha noticed and put on a smug face. "Aaaand it has a whole candy boutique," Skull's eyes widened. "A huge gaming arcade," Mask's eyes widened. "and a ginormous kitchen in each room! And there is also a library, but who even reads now?" "I do." Army growled.
"Well, it's like this resort was made for us!" Aloha said as he handed each S4 the ticket, who did not refuse to take it. "Thanks Goggles~!" Goggles smiled happily, and replied, "No problem! It's my pleasure! Hope you guys have fun!" And off Goggles went. (To Rider's house HEHEHE)
"Well~? Are we going? Pleaaase?" Aloha begged. Skull examined the ticket. "Caaaandyyyy" Mask checked his phone and gasped. "No way! They have every single arcade game in there! I'm innnn." "So both of you are going," Aloha turned to Army. "and you, my dear prince~?" Army looked away in embarrassment. "W-well... i-it wouldn't hurt to take a f-few days off I guess..."Army stuttered. Aloha smiled. "Great! That means we're all going! Okay... um... pack your bags tonight, and we'll meet here tomorrow at 8 in the morning! Does that work for everyone?" Everyone nodded, and they went off to their apartments to pack for their vacation.
(Time skip)
Aloha was bored and was checking Instagram, which was making him notice how lonely he is. Everyone else is either having the best time with their boyfriends or girlfriends or hanging with their best friends. "Ugghhhh I wish I had a roommate... Too bad Diver has a cat that hates me ;-;" Aloha sighed and flopped himself onto his bed. "I wonder if Army has a roommate..." Aloha looked around his room. "He would totally make me clean up this mess." Aloha chuckled, but it was interrupted by a ping from his phone. "Huh?" He checked his phone and there was a text message from Army!
Army: Hi. You done packing?
Aloha: Yea! Just waiting for tomorrow to come. U?
Army: Yes, I'm done. And also really bored.
Aloha: Oh really? Surprised ur bored. Isn't ur diary supposed to keep u busy?
Army: It's a manuel, stupid.
Army: Anyways, can I come over? Pretty sure your "packing" is just a boxer and a shirt.
Aloha glanced quickly at his bag. He had packed TWO boxers, and TWO shirts, AND gear for snowboarding. "Tch. What does he think he is? My mom?" Aloha had been snowboarding ever since he was a tiny squid, because his mom was a pro at snowboarding. Meanwhile, his dad was an expert on surfing. Aloha prefers surfing better, because of the beautiful view and his love for the beach.
Army: Hello?
Aloha: I'm here. FYI, I packed TWO boxers, TWO shirts, AND gear for snowboarding. Hmph!
Army: I didn't know you did snowboarding.
Aloha: Well now you know.
Army: Then I guess you don't need my help. See you tomorrow.
Aloha, realizing that he passed the chance to have Army over, sighed and started telling his teammates that he was going tomorrow.
Aloha: Hey Team~
Octo: Hi Aloha!!
Straw: Hi~
Diver: Yo!
Aloha: So, I'm not going to be here tomorrow. I'm going to the Inky Snow Resort for a few days with the S4. Thought we could go on a break!
Diver: Hold up. That means ARMY'S going????
Straw: Ohohohoho~!
Octo: Aloha, this is it! You should tell him you like him!!
Aloha: Guys, stoppp... I'm pretty sure he knows I like him, but I'm not so sure what he thinks about me.
Diver: Whaaaaaattt??? But doesn't he always blush when you flirt with him??
Octo: Yeah! We've seen him blush at you!
Straw: I bet he liiiiikes youuuu~!!
Aloha: Guys! Shut up! I bet he's not ready, so when anyone flirts with him, it catches him off guard...
Octo: Wow. You really are the love expert. BUT TOO BAD!!! ARMY LIKES YOU ACCEPT THAT FACT!!!
Diver: YEAH!!! ASK HIM OUT TOMORROW!
Octo: Good luck~!
Aloha: ANYWAYS, I'm leaving tomorrow at 8 in the morning, and we're going there with trains. Honestly, I really need this break.
Diver: And you really need to tell him.
Aloha: OMG WILL YOU GUYS STOP?!?!? I WILL THINK ABOUT IT
Octo: Yeah, think about it, meaning consider doing it!
Aloha: I'm out, see ya guys in a few days.
Straw: Have fun, bitch!
Octo: Straw, no cursing.
Diver: Bruh you fucking always cuss.
Octo: Do not!
Aloha chuckled. "Aaand here they go again."
Meanwhile, at Army's apartment....
"Yep. Mmhmm. I'll be gone for a few days. See you in a few days." Beep. "Okay... Now that telling my teammates are done, I guess I should go out to buy a new manuel, for keeping note of what happens. I mean... that party animal IS coming, so..." Army grabbed his parka, locked his door, and went to the library, his favorite place. Not only do they have cookbooks for curry, but they also sell manuals!
When he got there, he waved hello at the manager, who also waved back, and he went to the manuel section. There were millions of different colors, which one? "Hmm... well.. I always choose orange, but..." Then he noticed a white colored manuel, with tiny snowflakes on it. He smiled. "Perfect."
Army paid for the manuel at the register and tucked it in his pocket, and headed home, but ran into Rider. "Hey, Rider." Army greeted. Rider responded with a nod, and asked, "So you're going to some resort?" Army nodded, and they stood there awkwardly for a few minutes. Breaking the awkward silence, Rider asked, "So the entire S4 is going? Even Mask?" Army nodded. "Yeah. There's an arcade in there, so of course he's going. And Skull is going because there's a huge candy boutique." Rider stared at Army. "And why are you going?" Rider smirked. "Because there's a lib-" "Because Aloha's going?" Army's face turned bright orange and he tried to cover it by putting his hands on his face. "Heh, I knew it. You like him, don't you?" "N-no... because t-there's a library..." Army stuttered. "A-anyways, I gotta go..." Army pointed to the direction he was going, and he walked away, still blushing. Rider yelled, "You're blushing!" Army looked back and shouted, "Shut up!"
(Time skip to the next day!)
Beep! Beep! Beep! Aloha's alarm clock was ringing. "Ngghhhh... it's too early..." Aloha mumbled, throwing his pillow at the alarm clock. But then he realized he was going to the resort today. Aloha got up, got dressed, ate breakfast, and brushed his teeth. He checked his phone, and saw that he got some messages from his team's group chat, but it was just Diver and Octo arguing. Aloha put on his shoes, grabbed his bag, and went to the snowboarding place.
Aloha picked up his snowboard, and checked his phone. It was already 7:57! "Ack! I'm gonna be late!" He booked it to the square.
Army, Skull, and Mask were already there, waiting for Aloha, which was not the first time. "Ugghhh... we're gonna miss the train." Mask complained. Skull was just eating candy. Army was writing in his new manuel, irritated. "I swear, if we miss more than two trains, I will fucki-" "I'm here!" Everyone turned their head, to see Aloha panting and sweating. "It's already 8:10, doofus. You were the one that said to meet here at 8 yesterday." Mask grumbled. Aloha laughed nervously. "Sorry, sorry. I lost track of time!" Aloha apologized, and everyone ran to the metro, and headed to their train. Thankfully, it didn't leave them, and they got inside. Mask was sitting, playing games on his phone, Skull was finishing his lollipop, Army was writing in his manuel, and Aloha was standing, but gazing through the window.
Then, out of nowhere, someone got behind Army and started touching his.. well... personal parts. "Hi~" The inkling stared at Army, and he could tell from her face that she was drunk. "G-get away from me!"Army tried to take her hand off his... thing... (I'M SORRY) But she was too strong, and Army couldn't. Panicking, he looked at the S4, "A little help here!" Mask was staring in shock and he was completely frozen, and so was Skull. Aloha sighed, and speed walked to Army. "Get off him!!" Aloha grabbed her arm, which surprised Army, and kicked her in the shin. "OW!! Geez, I was just trying to give him a f-" Aloha glared at her. "Trying to fucking give poor Army a fucking 'fun time?' Yeah, no thanks. Get the fuck outta here." The drunk inkling walked towards the back of the train, but she fell, because Aloha tripped her. "Bitch." The inkling mumbled. Aloha looked back at Army, who was crying. "You okay?" Army wiped the tears off his face, and Aloha patted his head. "You're so dramatic. I never knew you could cry." He sat next to Mask, who was amazed. "Dang." Aloha sighed. "I'm used to it, it happens all the time." Skull being Skull, was just eating candy.
A few hours later, a computer voice said, "The next stop is Inky City." (Real creative, I know) "That's our stop." Mask said, and the rest walked to the train door... thing.... Aloha looked over at Army, who was still traumatized at what had happened a few hours ago. Poor Army, he thought. The door opened and they got off the train.
It was snowing.
Mask was prepared and wore a coat, Army just put his hood on, and the snow didn't bother Skull and Aloha. They were in shirts and just causally walking in the snow.
After 10 minutes of silence walking and girls staring in awe at them, the S4 finally arrive at the Inky Snow Resort. "Holy carp... This place is huge!" Army said. "Let's go~!" Aloha yelled as he took Army's army and ran to the front desk. "h-hey!" Army shouted.
"Hello, and welcome to the Inky Snow Resort! How may I help you?" An inkling smiled. "Hello, we have these tickets for a free stay here." Army said politely as he handed the inkling the tickets. "Oh! Of course!" The inkling took the tickets from Army and typed something on his computer. "Okay, you guys will be on floor 4, room 435 and 436. Here are your key cards." The inkling handed each S4 a key card. Aloha stopped. "Wait- wait wait. Two rooms?? There's four of us!" Mask joined in. "Um, I refuse to stay in the same room with these people." The inkling sighed. "I'm sorry, but I simply cannot just give away 4 rooms for free... this place is very busy, unless you're willing to pay." He handed Aloha a piece of paper, and Aloha's jaw dropped. "That's way too expensive..." he mumbled. Skull took the piece of paper from Aloha and handed it back to the inkling. "We'll each share a room." The Inkling smiled "Great! Have a nice day!"
The S4 went in the elevator, went to floor 4, and stood in front of rooms 435 and 436. "Okay guys, who's gonna share a room with me?" Aloha asked. No one answered him. Skull said, "I'll stay with Mask." "Rude." Aloha said. Mask nodded, and they both went in room 435. (no this is not a ship) Aloha turned to Army, and smiled. "I guess you're stuck with me now, my dear prince." He unlocked the door with his card key and let Army in first, who was blushing like crazy. Maybe my team was right... maybe Army does like me! Aloha thought, as he entered the room. They dropped their bags and THANKFULLY there were two beds, and the two were relieved that they didn't have to share a bed.
I wonder how this vacation is going to go~ Aloha thought. He looked over at Amy, who was blushing and writing in his manuel. First, I'm going to confess to Army!
