A/N: Sorry for not posting last saturday I was busy with Mother's Day preparations.
~Aaron~
"Hey Aaron wake up, we have to start..." Kay rushes into my room startling me. I tried to get up but there was something really heavy on me. I looked down and saw Elijah's arms wrapped around me pulling me as close as possible. It felt so right in a weird way. Almost like I belonged in his arms.
"So, who is that?" Kay asked. I tried to get him off of me but he wouldn't budge, so there was only one thing I could do. I started to shake him really hard.
"What." He grumbles, while tightening his grip as if he was a snake and I was his prey.
"I need you to wake up, I have to start cooking."
"No."
"Please" I begged. He didn't reply for a few seconds letting out a sigh.
"Fine" He got off of me and sat up.
"Well aren't you two cute." Kay said.
"Kay this is Elijah. Elijah this is Kay. She's one of the omegas in my pack."
"Hi" Elijah says. We sat there for a while in silence until I said something.
"Well... I have to go cook so you can go back to sleep ok." I look at him and he almost looks like he's sad I'm leaving him alone.
"Or he could come with us?" Kay said.
"Really!?!?" Me and Kay giggled.
"Yeah you can."
We all head down to the kitchen to start. Twenty or so people were gathered around(the other omegas) waiting for Kay to tell us what we have to cook tonight.
"Ok today we have quite a lot to cook. We have to cook whole chickens, ham, mash potatoes, corn, gravy, green beans, rolls, a few pies, and peach custard. Now
lets get started, we have a lot to do." Everyone went to there specific stations quickly getting started like it was second nature.
I drag Elijah to my station. "What can I do?" He asked.
"You can start cutting the potatoes as I wash them." He nods.
~Elijah~
I think that all this is bullshit but I do it anyway for my mate. I can't believe it I never thought I would ever find him. I was lost in a trance watching him. I could get over him. Everything was perfect about him. His eyes, his lips, the way smiled his...everything.
...
We place everything on a long table in the center of the dining room. All the other pack members start to come in and get their plates while the omegas start to clean the kitchen. I look around confused, wondering why they aren't sitting down to eat.
"Hey" I tap Aaron's shoulder.
"Yeah" Aaron says as he is washing dishes in one of their many sinks.
"Why aren't y'all going to eat?" He stops what he's doing and looks up at me and sighs.
"Omegas in this pack aren't allowed to eat until everyone else has." I looked at him in shock.
"What!?!? That's just wrong!!" I whisper yell.
"Yeah I know but that's how it's always been..." he trails off.
I help him and the others finish washing dishes and after the other pack members where done which means we can finally eat. I go to grab my plate when I realized that Aaron wasn't behind me. He was still over by the sink talking with that girl that woke us up and a few others. I walked over and asked why he wasn't eating, completely concerned about my mate. "We wait till the younger omegas are done eating just to make sure they get enough." The guy standing next to him responds.
I nod my head and go to lean on the island they have in the kitchen.
"What are you doing?" Aaron asked.
"I'm waiting" I smirked.
"For what?" He tilts his head slightly.
"For them to finish."
"You don't hav- I cut him off.
"I want to, ok blueberry."
He looks at me with shocked eyes as that girl laughs beside him. "B-blueberry?" Aaron says.
"Yeah, that's what I want to call you." He blushes.
After we ate we took a shower, not together unfortunately, and went to bed. I couldn't really sleep so I just went over the day and my thoughts instead.
When I called Aaron blueberry I was just as shocked as he was in a way. I mean come on is that the best I could come up with but, I'll just have to stick with it now I guess. *blueberry..* Ash laughed at me as I blocked him out.Why in the hell is his pack so fucking closed minded. You would think that since Aaron is supposed to be the alpha they would let him train. There is no way in hell he's going to be ready but, if he really wants to be alpha I'll do everything in my power to make sure he'll be as ready as he can be.
I wonder who beat the shit out of him the night I found out he was close by. My eyes shut as I whisper something to Aaron as I pull him close unconsciously laying my head on his clothed chest wanting to feel his warmth. "I love you."
I wake up in the morning and my blueberry is nowhere to be found. I get a little worried even though I know I shouldn't be and walk out the room sniffing the air to find him.
I keep walking till I get to the stairs and figure that he's in the kitchen. When I walk in there my eyes scanning for him he is nowhere to be found. I feel like someone's watching me.
"Are you the guy that the Alpha called in to help his son?" I turned around. He had dark gray and blue eyes and tan skin. He was a lot taller than me standing at almost 7 feet. He also gave me this weird vibe like the kind you get from a rouge almost and it wasn't so settling.
"Yeah...I am, my name is Elijah. Who are you." I say as I go over to him. He smirks in a jerk kinda way.
"Well I'm Hank and I'm one of the beta's sons in this pack."
"Ok. Nice to meet you." I try to fake a smile.
"You too." He swung his arm around my shoulder and forced me to walk with him. I felt like I was going to snap this guy's neck if he didn't get his arm off me but he wouldn't budge.
"Can you get your arm off me so I can go find him?" I ask.
"Ya know Aaron is so disgusting right?" I look up at him resisting the urge to snap his arm in two. I shake my head no.
"Really?!?!"
"Really." I say mocking him.
" Well I don't know why you don't think he's disgusting when he's not only gay but he's...." I was intrigued and wanted to know what he was going to say but, at the same time I already knew. " An omega." Hank made barfing gestures as he spoke. I looked at him blankly and he looked confused as to why my expression didn't change.
"And?" I asked. "And!?!?"
"I know already and I don't give a shit. Just because he's an omega and gay doesn't mean he can't learn to fight, he has the same rights as anyone else." I don't want to tell him I was an omega yet. I really didn't want to get into a fight with him and then get blamed or something for it because he seems like he gets whatever he wants. The classic spoiled brat but, even worse because he doesn't only have a wolf he is the Beta's son so, he probably fucking rules the place.
"Whatever, as soon as I turn 18 I'll be alpha. Alpha Clark would never give that worthless thing the title of alpha." Hank pushes off of me but before he can walk off I pull his arm making him turn back around. "Wh-
I punch him square in the face. "Don't talk about my mate like that!"
I walk off, down the hallway when I hear someone say. "Well shit!" A guy with a shaved head that looked like his hair was just starting to grow back and the baggiest clothes I've ever seen walked in front of me. He had brown eyes pale ish skin I think platinum blonde hair from what I can see. Piercings all over a tattoo of a rose on his wrist and a smile on his face.
"Who are you?" I sneered. I'm not in the mood to deal with another person.
"Chill out dude. I'm one of Aaron's friends." He says while laughing. I rolled my eyes and was about to ask him where my blueberry was when he spoke.
"Come on, I'll take you to Aaron . By the way my name is Rin. What about you?" He said. I looked at him wondering how he knew I was looking for Aaron and I guess he knew that too because the next thing I know he also said.
"I heard everything... I'm really nosy." We both smiled as I nodded.
"My name is Elijah." I said.
"Cool. Also don't worry I wont tell blueberry about you two being mates because I think it would be more fun if he found out on his birthday." I looked at him angrily and asked him where he heard that and not to call him again.
"Ok sorry. I just heard it from my mate last night. I won't say it again."
"Good," I responded.
"Damn... you're kinda scary." Rin walked a little faster leading the way while laughing.
~Elijah~
We continue walking for a little while before we get to a room that looked like a nursery. I scan the room and all I see is small children and omegas caring for them but no Aaron. "Hmmm, he was supposed to be here." Rin says. Then he walks over to that girl from yesterday that I still don't remember the name of.
She is coloring with a kid when she looks up and shakes her head. "Rin what are you doing out?" She says and I get a little confused.
"Nothing just talking to Elijah here." He gestures to me, telling me to walk over.
"Hi again." I say to the girl. She just smiles at me and looks back at Rin.
"Let Kai back." Rin pouted and right after his eyes turned a blue green and I realized that Rin is his wolf. Kai looks at me with shy eyes and says hi. I smile and say nice to meet you.
"Elijah this is my mate Kai and you just met his wolf Rin."
"Ok." I responded.
"Do you know where" I was cut off. "Aaron?" The girl says. I nod.
"Thought so, he's in the office right over there." She points. I smile at them both then head over to the bright pink door that I was directed to. I knock on the door but there is no response. I knock again a little harder when the door is finally pulled open by Aaron.
I smile and he just kinda stands there looking at me. I let him do this for about a minute until I tap him on the shoulder and ask if I can come in. All he dose is nods and moves out of the way not making eye contact. He closes the door and heads back to the desk in the middle of the small room and I sit in one of the chairs in front of the desk. "So I was wondering when you wanted to train." I say. He looks up from his work and I guess starts to think.
~Aaron~
I'm sitting in the nursery's office making plans and different projects the kids could do for every age group with my ear buds in when I here a knock on the door. I walk over and open it right after another knock comes to the door. For some reason I was really surprised it was Elijah that was on the other side. He had totally left my mind and I forgot that I didn't wake him up to eat. I felt really bad and thought he was here to tell me off. I think of ways to say sorry when he taps me on the shoulder and asks if he can come in. I look him in the eyes and nod, moving my eyes away from his quickly not wanting to get lost in his eyes at this moment.
"So I was wondering when you wanted to train." Elijah says. I look up still avoiding eye contact and start to think about the training schedule of the pack. I know that they train in the morning and once in the afternoon right before lunch and another time after dinner. That's not what I was worried about though because they always train outside even at night. I was worried about the twins. There was no telling when they would be in the training room or how long. They kept it consistent with three to two times a day but they didn't have exact times. I know it sounds weird that I know all this but I only do because it makes it easier to know where not to be and when so I don't end up getting beat up. Even tho it still happens it doesn't happen as frequently as it would if I didn't know their daily routine.
After a little more thinking I decided that it would be best to go now because it's almost time for back training which means no one, including the twins, will be in the training room. "Let's go now." I say simply.
"Now? Are you sure? Don't you have work to do?" He says pointing at the stack of papers on the desk. I shake my head no.
"No, this is just some planning for art projects and I can do it later tonight anyway." I explain.
"Well than let's go." He says getting up and heading to the door.
"Ok but I have to go change first." He looks me up and down and nods.
"Well I guess you do." He chuckles as I look at him angrily.
"What's wrong with my clothes?" I ask. I was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt that says 'UNICORN FARTS' and black skinny jeans.
"Nothing you just have an interesting style." I roll my eyes and open the door walking out first. I walk over to Kay and Kai.
"Hi guys'' I say as I wave. I look over at Kai and start laughing.
"Did Rin take over again?" I smile as he glares at me knowing I already knew the answer. Rin, his wolf, likes to take over a lot and change their look up to how he prefers. I've never met someone with a completely different personality than their wolf but him. Rin is more of a badass emo guy that doesn't like the rules whatsoever and Kai is a shy and kind hearted soul who just wants to please everyone.
I look over at Kay. "I'm going to go train with Elijah ok, Kay." I say. She nods and I turn around to leave but instead I bump into Elijah, not realizing he was right behind me. "Sorry" I say as I take a step back from him.
"It's ok, let's get going." He responded.
We are walking back to my room so I can get change when we come across Miranda
