Jennie's POV
The next day came and Ella is still upset. I already did everything to make her happy, I cook her favorite food, I bought our favorite ice cream, and I tried telling her a joke but she still doesn't smile. I don't know what to do anymore. I even forced Jisoo unnie to wake up and go up here just to cheer Ella and still no avail.
"Should I just tell her unnie?" I ask Jisoo unnie.
"No, not yet, just like what you've said, she won't understand everything yet." Jisoo unnie said.
I look at Ella who's watching a cartoon in the living room.
"I KNOW WHAT TO DO!" Jisoo unnie shouted that got me startled.
"Yah! Unnie, you're giving me a heart attack." I said.
"Mianhe Jenduekie. I know what can make Ella happy." Jisoo unnie proudly said.
"What?" I ask.
"Lisa."
"Lisa?"
"Yes, your Lil-aw, aw aw! Stop!" Jisoo unnie hissed in pain as I pinch her side.
"Lisa can help, she's close with Ella and Ella like to play with Lisa more than me." Jisoo unnie admitted.
"Nah, I won't disturb her, maybe she's busy." I said.
"Just try, Lisa can't say no to Ella."
I look at her and think. Maybe she can really help.
"Fine." I said and get my phone.
"Yey!"
I got my phone and opened it.
"Should I call her or text her?" I ask Unnie.
Unnie give me a are- you- serious look and I nodded.
"I don't know if I'll call her or text her." I said.
"Just call her."
"Ugh! I just won't do it. Maybe she's still asleep." I said and put my phone down.
"Gosh Jenduek! How can she be still asleep? It's nearly lunch you know." Unnie said.
Oh right.
"Maybe she sleeps til noon?" I tried to reason out.
"How can you say that?"
"I don't know. Maybe because she sleeps til noon in my dream?"
"Give me your phone." Unnie said.
"What? No way." I said and hold my phone.
"Just call your damn wif-aw!"
"Fine! Just to make you stop saying things." I said and rolled my eyes.
"Yah! Don't roll your eyes at me you mandu!"
"Yah! I'm not a mandu!" I complained and pout.
"Aww! Yes you are, you look more a mandu when you pout." She teasingly said.
I glared at her and I was ready to hit her when she stands up and ran away. Good, no more annoying sister. I get my phone and I'm still thinking if I should disturb Lisa.
"Ugh! I'll do these to make Ella feel better."
I dialed her number and after several rings, someone answered and I knew it was not Lisa. It was a man's voice.
?: Hello?
J: --
?: Hello? Are you there?
I look at the name and it was Lisa's number. Why is a man answering these? Does she have a boyfriend? She can't have any bo-oh gosh? Why am ai like these? Stop it Jennie!
?: Uhm, still there?
J: Oh yeah sorry.
?: It's okay, do you need anything from Lisa?
J: Uh, yeah, is she there?
?: Yes, she's just taking a shower.
J: Ow, okay, I'll just call her back later, thanks.
I immediately hung up and I put down my phone.
Who could that person be? I hope she doesn't have any boyfriend. Wait, did I really said that? Ugh! What's happening to you Jennie!
I walk towards the living room and sit beside Ella.
"Hey, are you hungry?" I ask her and she just shook her head.
"Okay, do you anything?" Again, she shook her head.
"Okay, just tell me if you need anything. Arasso?" And... She just nodded.
I sigh and stand up, I walk towards Jisoo unnie and I plop down beside her.
"You good Jenduek?"
"I don't know Unnie." I honestly said.
"So... Did you call Lisa? Or text her?" Unnie asks and giggled.
"I did not text her, I called her." I said and frown.
"What did she said?"
"I don't know." I said and shrug my shoulder.
"What do you mean you don't know? You didn't ask her if she can help to make my niece feel better?" Jisoo unnie curiously ask.
"Nope." I said emphasizing the 'p'.
"Eh? Then what did you two talk about?"
"Nothing."
"What? What do you mean nothing? You called her and you didn't talk to her." Jisoo unnie said.
"I did not talk to her unnie." I said.
"Then you called her and she did not answer her phone?" Jisoo unnie asks.
"My call was answered." I said.
"Ugh! Your confusing me. Can you tell it straight to the point?"
"Blah blah blah."
"Yah! Jenduek! Tell me." She frustratingly said.
"Someone answered the call, it was not her. It was someone else. A man answered." I said.
"A man? Does she have a boyfriend?"
"I don't know!"
"Okay, chill down Mandu."
"Ugh! Why would even a man answer that? I mean, why would even Lisa let that man hold her phone. And I thought she was living all alone in her apartment. What if that ma-." I was cut off.
"Are you jealous?" Jisoo unnie ask that caught me off guard.
"What?"
" Are you jealous?" She asks again.
"Of course not! Why would I even be jealous?"
"I don't know, coz you like her?"
"What? No! Why would I even like Lisa?" I defensively said.
"I don't know, maybe you are falling for her already." Jisoo unnie casually said.
"Ugh! unnie, how can I even fall for her in a month?"
"Not just a month Jenduek. Nearly a year." She said and I look at her confusedly.
"Duh! Your dream. Maybe you are already falling for her after you dreamed about her." She added.
"That was different unnie." I said.
"So you are falling for her."
"Unnie I'm not."
"Yes you are, you said it was different so it means in your dream, you fall for her in other way, and in this real situation you are also falling for her." She said and I stared at her.
"Just admit it Jenduek. I know you like her." Jisoo unnie teased.
"I won't admit anything Unnie coz I don't like her and I was not at my own sense when I dream about her, it was a different person, it was not me." I said.
"Don't say anything and just admit it. I'll ship the both of you!"
"Ugh! Unnie stop!" I said.
She was about to say anything when my phone rings. At look at it and it was Lisa.
"Oh, your Lili is calling."
"Shut up!" I said.
"Don't get jelly Jenduek, you are too obvious." Unnie said.
"I said I'm not jealous!"
