to begin, i'd like to say hello! i'm glad you've stumbled into my little corner of the universe, and i hope you enjoy your stay. those of you familiar with my work know how much of an adam banks fangirl i am, but i do have a whole section of my heart that is dedicated to everyone's favorite captain, mr. charlie conway. this is a plot idea i've had for a while now. aspen is quite possibly one of my favorite original characters i've cooked up. she's hurt and broken and a mess but she's beautiful in every single way. i hope you fall in love with her as i have.
fun fact ! this book takes place in the same universe as Challenge does. this means that, have you read that book, you will see some familiar faces. Caine and Joey are good pals with Zander and Nigel. keep a look out for that.
in addition to that, it's also written in relation to a luis mendoza fanfic i have in mind – specifically the lacrosse aspect. i was reading over the script and remembered rick riley's little brother not getting a spot on the team, and that kinda encouraged me to rope all sorts of new ideas into this story.
