Although the beginning of the new year is traditionally somewhat of a shark week for breakups in Hollywood, it's seems that two of its brightest young stars are defying the odds!
Stans everywhere have been shipping Spiderman: Homecoming star Tom Holland with his screen partner Robert Downey Jr's actress daughter Cash Downey for months now, but #tash stans are in luck! E-News can now confirm that Holland [21] and Downey [20] have officially been on their first date as a couple, as sources confirm they are due for their second date later this week!

After a nasty publicised breakup from DNCE frontman Shane Voss last year, Downey has moved on rather quickly to one of Hollywood's most talked about young stars, despite the year-and-a-half she spent with Voss [23].

Sources close to Voss have stated that the former Connect 3 star hated the 'constant pressure of being in a relationship with a legacy', and that his new dynamic with Game of Thrones actress Madeline Kress [21] is 'an equal partnership'.

Downey's team refused comment on the situation, only stating that 'Cash Downey has made it clear that her relationship with Shane Voss ended in July of last year. Cash is currently single, and focusing on her upcoming appearance in Pitch Perfect 3, in theatres July 2017.'
