Nanu- Shravan it was all my fault. If I hadn't faked my heart attack an staged that fake marriage plan then my Suman would never have to go through the horrific experience. I will never be able to forgive myself beta. Never.
Shravan who was already sitting numb was now stupefied with this new found information. He was aghast learning that the marriage was a drama and yet both he and Sumo had to go through so much.
Shravan- Nanu... can you pl...please tell me clearly..... (all scared to know what might have actually led to all this)
He nodded and then stared.
Flashback
It was the day when Nirmala came to Tiwariji to ask Suman's hand for Aditya.
Nirmala- Tiwariji Namaste.
Nanu- Arre Nirmala come come sit. You came here taking time out of your busy schedule, I am happy for that.
Nirmal- Tiwariji, what are you saying? You are clearly embarrassing me. Afterall Preeti is like my daughter and Pushkar is toh my son only. How couldn't I come and bless them. Well, actually I came here for another important work. For that I had to personally talk to you. Remember, yesterday you were so tensed about Suman. But guess what I have a perfect solution to it.
Nanu- Really, what is it? Tell me. I want my Suman's future to be secured anyhow.
Nirmala- You don't have to worry about that anymore because o myself will be taking care of her.
Nanu- But how?
Nirmala- Tiwariji, do you remember Aditya?
Nanu- Yes I do remember him. But what about that?
Nirmala- Actually, Tiwariji he is my son. Aditya Ahuja. He told me that hi loves Suman. And he really does. I have seen it in his eyes. He wants to marry her and I really want this alliance to get fixed, only if say so. Aditya is a really good guy. And I promise you that Suman will get all the love a daughter deserves because that is what I consider her.
Nanu- Look ,Nirmala I know you consider Suman as your daughter s d I really want to get her married to your son as she loves him a lot. In fact, both of them love each other. Even I know that they are made for each other...
Nirmala - If that is the case, then why are we wasting time. I will right away call Aditya and call him here....
Nanu- Wait. Look Nirmala I am talking about your son, Shravan. Its him and Suman, not Aditya. Suman and Shravan love each other since childhood. Have you not seen them together? I thought you would have understood it long ago, that your son loves Suman a lot, so much that he can go against the whole world for her. Am surprised how come you haven't realized your own son's feelings.
Nirmala- Tiwariji, I never knew Shravan loves Suman to this extent. But Aditya told me that even Suman likes him. He said that there was some problem regarding PCT and Suman took help only from him and no one else. And we all know how much Suamb values her self respect. So u thought that may be she also loves him. That's the only reason I came here for. And regarding Shravan's feelings, then I was away from him since years. How am I supposed to know about them?
Nanu- Are you even for real Nirmala. Come on, our God's sake, he is son. Staying away from him for years doesn't change the fact that you are his mother. How can you just brush of the feelings for your own son so easily. Di you even know how much Shravan has suffered after you went away leaving him all alone.
Nirmala- Even I was away from him, from my family leaving all alone. But he at least had Kamini and Ramnath was always here.
Nanu- Really Nirmala, you think that Shravan had everyone. You do know the significance of a mother in a child's life especially when he is way too much introvert. You are well aware of the fact that Kamini is not what she shows. How can you think that she must have given Shravan the motherly love he was craving for since years. Didn't you see how much your son hates women? Tell me. You were able to see the love Aditya had in his eyes, but you were not able to decipher your flesh and blood's feelings. You consider Suman as your daughter, right. But then couldn't you ever see the amount of love she had for your own son. Or you just ignored it. Why are you standing quietly? Tell me. Give me the answers. And if we talk about Ramnath, then he was so scared to lose his son that he distanced him from his own self
When Shravan so badly needed his family, he was left all alone in an unfamiliar country where he had no one to share his pain, grief and happiness. Well happiness was never with him. Do you know he tried to commit suicide three times in London just because he thought that he was not worth his parents affection and love. (Nirmala gasps). Yes you heard it right. I am really sorry that I am interfering in your personal life, but here it is concerned about my Grandson. I have seen him breaking and shattering. I am sure you must have noticed the difference in his personality. You is all because of his parents, who were so busy in their ego clash that they forgot that it is badly affecting their son. Couldn't you both keep it aside just for you son, your only son whom you got after going through a lot. You still abandoned him in his life's most crucial journey to fight for himself all alone. Don't you love him anymore? (He had tears in his eyes and Nirmala was nodding her head in no). Well, I must say that you got a lovely family. You replaced your son with Aditya and Nidhi. But he had no one to replace you. You were just not only his mother, you were his bestfriend also and someone who he loved with all his heart. How could you just forget him. The most precious gift of God to both you and Ramnath. I agree that Ramnath was wrong. But even you knew, why he was so. Have you forgotten how deeply in love you both were? Have you forgotten that Shravan is the sign of that same love? When Shravan needed you badly in his life, you decided to leave him, his father decided to send him alone to a new country. Where was Shravan's wish in all this. Hmm.... why are you silent? Say something.
By the end of it, Nirmala was crying badly.
Nirmala- Tiwariji, even you know it perfectly well why I left him. I remember each and everything. The love Rama and I had, the apple of my eye, my Shravan. I can't forget anything. But its better for the father-son duo to hate me rather than go through that pain. They both won't be able to handle it. They both loved me way too much. They had to hate me, otherwise.... that pain... I can't, I just cant see them going through that pain. Instead I am all ready to bear their hatred.
Nanu- Nirmala why do you keep forgetting that Shravan is your son. He can't stay without you. What do you think, he is happy without you? No. A big No. He loves you way too much. He is still the 17 years old Shravan, standing where he was ten years ago. He hasn't moved on. Even Ramnath. Ram did, what you wanted him to do. But did you see the pain in his eyes when his only fears of losing you came true. He so wanted you to chose him. But you chose your work. He loved and you very well know that he was way too much possessive about you. Nirmala, even he hasn't moved on. Go back to them. They both need you badly.
Nirmala- No Tiwariji. It's too late now. I can't go back to them. It's better that they stay without me happily. I just want them to stay happy. And if my son's happiness lies in Suman, then be it. I will do anything to make them come together. Please tell me if I can do anything for them.
Nanu- Ok as you wish. But I would still suggest you let Shravan and Ram know everything before it's too late. And regarding Shravan and Suman's marriage, then I must mention that those two idiots have still not confessed their love to each other. (Chuckling) In fact they are still unaware of each other's feelings.
Nirmala- But then what should we do to bring them together?
Nanu- I do have an idea, but....only if you and Aditya are comfortable.
Nirmala- Off course Tiwariji. You just tell me what has to done. Rest I assure you, it will be alright.
Nanu- Actually I am thinking to conduct a fake marriage for Suman, so that both of them get restless and finally confess their love to each other. Am sure they will confess their love before the wedding only. But if by chance it extends to the wedding then we will break it sighting any excuse. After that I will think of another plan to get them together i.e. I will have to put Suman into some trouble so that Shravan realizes the fact that he can't stay without his love. And I want Aditya to be that fake groom because I only trust you with Suman other than Ram and Shravan.
Nirmala- Okay Tiwariji, if you say so, then I will talk to Adi about this. And I am sure that he will agree because before anything else, Suman is his friend. And he will help her for sure. May Be Suman And Shravan are destined to be together and there us someone else in my Adi's destiny. I will make him understand. You don't worry about anything else. I will take care if it. You just get Suman ready for the sake wedding and wait for the Confession Day. ( grinning)
Nanu- Okay.
(After that all that happened is the same as in the show)

By the end of the narrative both Nanu and Shravan were in tears. Shravan felt more guilty now.
Shravan- Why did you do this Nanu? You could have confronted me easily. And because of all this I committed a sin, the mistake of my Life.
Nanu- What mistake are you talking about?
Then Shravan narrates the whole bachelor's party scene. Nanu was shocked and angry but he melted seeing Shravan's crying face. He melted and thought that they both were in same position. Had they been a bit more cautious then they wouldn't have to face such a day. He tapped Shravan 's shoulders and when he looked up they both hugged each other and cried badly.
Shravan- Nanu, I am so bad na? I hired the only two women in my life, whom I loved the most. Sumo and Ma.
When he uttered the word Ma, Nanu looked up to him all surprised.
Shravan- Actually Mr. Malhotra told me everything. How he pushed away both Suman and Ma just for his selfish needs. But Nanu, I wanted to ask ma was talking about what other pain?
Nanu- Look Shravan, even I cant tell you because I am tied by a promise. Only Nirmala can tell you. But for now let's go and meet Ramnath.
Shravan- No Nanu, I won't and I can't. He tried to hurt my Sumo. He drifted me apart from my Mom. I just hate him.
Nanu- Shravan don't forget that whatever happens, he is still your father a and he loves you way beyond limits and that is why he is scared to lose you. He was scared to lose Nirmala even. But she went away and that broke Ram. But he loves you and had is why is scared to lose you. This was the only reason that he wanted you all for himself. It was his insecurities that led him to do all these. Please forget it at least for the time being. Look, even Suman forgave you for you sin then won't you forgive your dad.
Shravan thought about a while and then decided to have a cordial relationship with Ram and then think about forgiving him, but he was doing it all just for Sumo and Nanu, so that they don't get worried seeing him in tension.
Both the men got up and went to Ramnath's room. When they opened the door they saw a nurse hurriedly leaving from the room. When Shravan tried to call, she just didn't give any heed to him and went away leaving both of the men in confusion. They looked up towards Ramnath for answer only to see him sweating. Shravan panicked seeing his state and rushed towards him.
Shravan- Dad are you okay? Did that woman do anything to you. Just tell me and I will punish her for sure( while gritting his teeth in anger).
Ramnath- Don't worry, beta am fine. I just was feeling a habit uneasy so the nurse came to my aide. You don't worry. Arre Tiwariji, why did you take the pain to come here. I am completely fine.
Nanu- Oh come on Ramnath, you are just like my son. Don't I have the right to visit him.
Ram- Off course Tiwariji. I was just saying that, your own health is not good and you came all the way till here.
Nanu- Dont worry Ram. Am fine. Just take care of yourself. You see, you became so old that you had to take the bed and look at me. An still so young that the girls still go gaga over me.
The three of them laughed out loud on this statement. Then all of a sudden the laughter died down and there was an eerie silence in the room because Shravan ams Ramnath' gaze meet and all that happened in that room in the last few hours came back like a flashback to them. Ramnath had tears in his eyes as he was really regretting his actions. His own son was Ignori6him like a plague but still was concerned for him. He was really guilty and wanted to meet Sumo soon and ask for her forgiveness. Because if she didn't forgive her, then he would never be able to forgive himself. He was a sinner and Suman, the angel was the only one who could relieve him of this pain. This he was waiting to meet Suman. Only then he would be at peace. He glanced towards Shravan only to finger him looking at nothing in particular. He understood that Shravan wanted to be away from him as it was sheer torture for him. Ram being a father understood it and asked Shravan about Suman and told him gi and check in her. It was just an excuse, so that Shravan could leave from the room where he felt suffocated. Ram had tortured his son since the last ten years with all his lies. Now he just wanted to see his son happy and if for that it cost him going away from his son , then also he accepted it, as this pain of separation would be much smaller than what Shravan had gone through all these past years. It was really small in front of the pain Suman had gone through and the sacrifice she had made. He had determined that he won't let these two children of his to go through any more pain in their life. It will just be full of love, friendship and care and most importantly trust. He even decided to tell Nanu all about his misdeeds and even asked for his forgiveness, which Nanu granted happily but not before giving him an advice to look into his marital matter of ten years back of where he lacked and what he missed that it resulted as happy family being converted into a dysfunctional family. Ramnath nodded and even pondered over the situation. He decided to talk the matter put with Nirmala again. He loved her way to much to let her go again because of his stupidity. Earlier he was jealous of Ahuja even though he knew that Nirmala was solely his. But now he wanted to rectify his mistakes. He wanted to repent by correcting his mistakes. And to start with it had to be Nirmala because that was the starting point if the destruction of Ramnath Purushottam Malhotra's happiness.
