The god of the sky turned out to be a major flirt.
He sent Taehyung flirty comments here and there while everyone on the table just watched in dismay. The pink haired male would only blush and duck his head down.
The human would be lying if he said he wasn't flustered. He couldn't help but flush pink whenever Kai would flirt with him.
But he really wasn't blushing because of his compliments. Taehyung was blushing because of embarrassment.
Kai was so — bold.
There were so many demons present in the dining room yet here he was, sending Taehyung flirty statements without a care in the world.
"I love your eyes so much, god I wonder how you would look at me with those eyes as I take yo-" Kai yet again let out with a smirk. The human looked at him with confusion, his cheeks tinted pink.
But Zeus' words were rudely cut off by Hades who slammed his hand against the table. "It would be greatly appreciated if you two would stop flirting! I do not tolerate such behavior especially when there are others around you!" The king of the underworld stated with authority. He spoke with such dominance like the king he was. He had glanced at Taehyung with dark eyes before looking away.
Taehyung bit his lip and looked down. His hands let go of his utensils and he kept them on his lap.
Kai smirked at his brother. "Jeongguk my dear brother, stop being so short-tempered. Why don't you look for a queen instead of wasting your time? We all know that hell needs a queen sooner or later. How about you hand hell over to me? Since you're really not good at ruling, I'll be a good brother and do it for you. How does that sound, dear brother?" His whole demeanor changed. He was just pouting cutely at Jeongguk earlier.
Now, the God of the Sky looked at his brother as if he was announcing war.
Taehyung understood that every kingdom needed a queen. It's just not right if a kingdom only has a king. The kingdom would be incomplete.
So hell having no queen is such a serious matter. Taehyung looked at the king as he wondered, who would be the queen?
Would it be Minthe? There was a high possibility of the nymph being queen. He was the king's lover after all.
But then again, he was the lowest of types. It would be a disgrace to have a nymph as a queen ruling over a powerful kingdom.
Then, who was a perfect fit for being a queen?
Hades clicked his tongue, the gesture seemingly hot for Taehyung. Jeongguk stared at his brother with stern, cold eyes. "That wouldn't be necessary, brother. I can manage the kingdom perfectly. But I do appreciate your offer, brother." He smiled sarcastically, eyes bored into his brother as if he was skinning him alive.
Taehyung looked around the table, noticing the heavy atmosphere. Namjoon was smiling at Taehyung with a bright face. Strange.
Seokjin and the rest of the demons had deadly stares directed towards the god of the sky. They didn't look so friendly anymore. There was no friendly smile on their faces. They looked — frightening.
Was this their true color?
They were demons after all. Right, Taehyung had almost forgot about that. He didn't blame them for being fake. At least, they made effort to make him feel comfortable around them.
Taehyung somehow felt special.
The God of the Seas, Jeon Jackson, stayed quiet. He looked bored, he seemed to take interest on his nails.
"How about I propose a perfect goddess to be your queen?" Kai again asked, his head cocked to the side. A smirk never seemed to leave his handsome face. Despite Jeongguk's rage, he still went on, infuriating the king even more.
Taehyung furrowed his brows. Having a queen from a different realm would not be good. If someone from olympus would rule hell alongside Jeongguk, that would be a real threat to the realm.
Was Kai planning something?
"I suggest you stop spitting out nonsense, dear brother. I do not need creatures from your realm." Jeongguk growled out, his voice dripped with venom. It seemed like he knew that his brother was on to something.
Taehyung mentally sighed in relief. Thank god the king of hell was smart. Come to think of it, he had been analyzing everything Kai had said.
He almost laughed, he had been thinking as if he was a queen who's kingdom was in danger.

That day's breakfast hadn't been the best. If it wasn't for Kai, Taehyung would've enjoyed his meal.
He sighed as he sat on table inside the library. His book was closed as he supported his chin with his hand, his doe eyes scanned the large space of the library.
He looked through the big window by his right. There were a few small medieval houses and a river with a dirty shade of water.
The river.
Taehyung couldn't help but think back to when he first encountered a demon. What was his name? Thanatos? Ah yes, that was it. He had came to know that Thanatos was the God of Death.
Back then, the said demon appeared from the river. Taehyung had thought it was a large fish. But a large fish in such a small river was impossible.
He was utterly confused. Was the river in his garden a portal to hell? That was the only reason he could think of. It wasn't like Thanatos had been swimming in his river, no that was just absurd.
Footsteps snapped Taehyung away from his thoughts. He turned his head towards his left, where the entrance of the library was situated at. His pretty brown eyes landed on Jeongguk.
The king entered with his usual outfit, the corset around his tiny waist drove Taehyung crazy. His ink black horns and beautiful midnight wings were so alluring.
Jeongguk was so surreal, so handsome and — just everything.
The king made his way to one of the top shelves as he placed a book back. He got back down and turned to leave, Taehyung's eyes still glued on him.
He stopped on his tracks and looked behind his shoulder.
"I know I'm handsome but try to be less obvious sometimes, pretty." Jeongguk purred with his deep seductive voice that had Taehyung's knees wobbling.
The pink haired male flushed a dark shade of red as his adorable big eyes widened. The king walked towards him with a smirk while Taehyung sat frozen.
Jeongguk had just called him pretty.
The king leaned his face so close to his. He could feel the devil's hot breath on his lips. Jeongguk lifted his chin up, his dark eyes meeting with the human's hazel ones.
Taehyung started to unknowingly breathe heavily. What was the devil doing to him?
"Tell me, do you find me attractive Taehyung?" Jeongguk let out, his voice seemingly dropped an octave. He leaned closer to his ear causing Taehyung's breath to hitch.
The human lightly nodded his head, not quite trusting his voice. The devil smirked as he bit on Taehyung's ear, nibbling on it softly.
Taehyung couldn't help but let out a small moan as he gripped onto Jeongguk's muscular arms. His body was quite sensitive, it was his first time being touched like this.
"Didn't I already tell you that you're mine?" Jeongguk darkly said, his soft lips attacked Taehyung's neck. The human mewled in delight, tilting his head to side to give the devil full access.
"Y-yours," Taehyung whispered with closed eyes. The devil continued to pepper his neck with kisses, surely leaving so many marks. He smirked at what he heard, his chest swollen with pride.
"Remember that, Taehyung. You're mine and I don't want to see you flirting with other demons, hm?" The devil growled, his teeth bit into Taehyung's soft golden skin, receiving a moan in response.
"Y-yes!" Taehyung uttered out, his mind clouded with pleasure just from the devil's sinful lips.
"Good boy." Jeongguk praised his human. Taehyung whimpered as the devil kissed the crown of his head and left.
The pink haired male longingly stared at the entrance of the library. He bit his lip, blushing madly at what just happened.
He sat there with flaming cheeks, his neck littered with hickeys from the devil himself.
