Party Time
The Salvatore School was buzzing with excitement for the twins' party, Kenna and Alaric were the happiest they could be finally letting each other fully in and excited to celebrate their daughters.
The Mikaelson family was happy for the event but nervous as well, knowing that their brother could have a plan up his sleeve like he always seems to have. Hope was excited to be a part of the party, her first party, while her father planned to spend the night winning over Kenna to be able to make his family whole as he thought. Her mother on the other side was just excited for Hope and was hoping to not get in the way, knowing that she doesn't want to push Kenna or her kids.
Kenna and Alaric along with the gang were the first at the party to get last minute things set up and to make sure the music was set. They stuck together when students started to arrive and dance along to the music.
"Where are the kids?" Elena asks.
"Josie and Lizzie are probably going to make an entrance and Emery, Jace and Alec are probably on their way already," Kenna says as she sways to the music with Ric next to her.
She smiles at him as he goes and hugs her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder. At the gesture, the gang lights up, "OMG Tell Me He Finally Asked You Out?!" Caroline says excitedly.
Kenna smiles and goes to kiss Ric's cheek next to her, "he finally did, and I, of course, said yes," she says as the gang congratulates the new couple.
"Finally! I thought I was going to have to do it for you, man." Damon says making Kenna chuckle and Ric give him a friendly glare.
"Hello parentals, extended family, how are you doing this fine evening," Jace says as he, Alec and Stefanie walk to the group.
"Hello nephews, daughter, don't you both look dashing and daughter that dress is far too short," Damon says as we just chuckle at how he always follows along with the boys and is giving his jacket to Stefanie who just rolls her eyes.
"And that's why you're my favorite uncle," Jace says as Alec nods along.
The Gang continues laughing till the twins finally decided to make their entrance, with Kenna and Alaric smiling brightly at their daughters with Ric even tearing up.
What they didn't notice was the Mikaelsons entrance right before the twins, Hope was looking to the twins happy for them and grateful for them not hating her and excluding her. Klaus, on the other hand, was just looking straight at Kenna watching her smile as she hugged Ric. The family clapped for the twins as they made their way down the stairs to their dates, being Rafael and Penelope.

The twins made their way over to their parents to hug them and see that their older sister finally made it as well.
They hugged their parents, "Thank you guys for the party, and everything you've done." Josie says.
"Of course, sweetheart, remember we love you two so much," Ric says as Kenna nods along finally tearing up a little.
The twins go off to dance dragging along their siblings and cousin who gives Damon back his jacket to his displeasure.
Ric then turns to Kenna, "may I have this dance, my lady?" He asks as she giggles but nods and takes his hand.
He brings her to the dance floor where they dance in each others arms smiling and laughing with each other enjoying the company, not noticing at the glares they are receiving from the hybrid.
Kenna's POV
I'm dancing with Ric as were watching our sons dance around their sisters and cousin as they just laugh at their dance moves when I feel someone tap my shoulder.
"May I have this dance?" Damon says smirking at Ric.
I smile and of course, dance with Damon as Ric goes and talks with Care.
"I'm happy for you, Ken, you're finally getting what you've always wanted and deserved, your kids and a great man," he says.
"Thanks, Day, I finally feel good, I hope it stays like this," I say as we dance along to the music.
Of course, this being my life, the one, and only Klaus comes up to us, "May I have this dance, love?"
"I don't think so, I promised my next dance to another Mikaelson," I say as Kol comes up behind him.
"I believe that would be me," he says smirking at his brother before taking my hand and leading me.
"How have you been, Kenny?" Kol asks.
"Well, since your the one asking, Koala, I can tell you that I'm really happy, my kids are happy and Ric finally asked me out," I tell him excited.
"Wow, so you and the old man," he says chucking a little.
"He's not old, you know he stopped aging at like 30 something, we think, and I stopped at 25, and I've fallen in love with him," I say as Kol just smiles at me.
"Plus, he's hot," I say as we chuckle and Kol just rolls his eyes.
As we walk over to his family, I greet everyone, "Hello, I hope your all enjoying the party," I say.
"You look amazing, Kenna," Rebekah says as Freya, Davina, and Hope nod agreeing.
"Thank you, you girls look amazing too, as usual probably," I say as they just smile.
"Now I have come to ask for a dance," I say as I see Klaus look hopeful but his face drops once I face Elijah.
"It would be a pleasure," Elijah says as we go dancing.
3rd POV
The Mystic Falls Gang are looking at the Mikalesons laughing as they realize what Kenna just did by the face Klaus was making. Alaric is smiling finally realizing that maybe he doesn't have to worry about Kenna still having feelings for Klaus.
He sees Kenna start to head over to them once the song finishes and she gives Elijah a hug.
"You look like you're having fun," Caroline says as Kenna just chuckles and shrugs.
"Hey, I'm going to go outside and get some air, it's getting kinda crowded." She says to Ric as he nods and asks, "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, just need some air, I'll be back in a few." She says walking out and heading outside to the garden.
What she doesn't realize is Klaus following after her, he's a few feet behind her once she reaches the garden.
"You'll dance with almost every man here, except me, why is that?" She hears Klaus say behind her.
"Leave me alone, Niklaus," She says rolling her eyes.
"No, why don't you turn around and look at me, love," he says and she just sighs turning not wanting to start a fight.
"Why can't you see how much I love you, why won't you let me show you, you saved me, we made promises to each other and if you give me the chance I'll show you how much you mean to me, " Klaus says walking closer to her and grabbing her hand.
She pulls her hand away but he just gets closer to her, "Nik, you broke our promises and with them my heart, I gave you a second chance and you chose your own pride, and I'm sorry, but I don't love you, I can't love you."
"You don't mean that, I'm your one true love, like you've always said, you have too." He says resting his hand on her face.
She goes and grabs his arm and pulls his hand off her face, "that's where your wrong, Niklaus, I loved you, you were my first love, and you'll always have a place in my memory, but you broke my heart."
"You can't be, Kenna." He says realizing she's not looking at him with love filled eyes anymore.
"Can't what, Klaus?"
"You can't be in love with him, you're mine." He says grabbing onto her wrists.
"Let me go." She says not wanting to piss him off.
"I knew it, by the way you look at him, it's the way you used to look at me." He says as she finally gets her wrists free and takes a few steps back from him.
"I do, I love him, I'm in love with Alaric, and you have to let me go." She says, they just look at each other Klaus with a sad look.
Alaric hearing everything smiles, he had followed after Kenna a while behind to make sure she was okay, and stayed close once he saw Klaus and her speaking in case she needed help.
"Why? How? I'm supposed to be the man you love."
"You were, until you decided to cheat and leave and not fight for our promises, you broke us Niklaus. I'm not going to apologize for finding happiness and love again."
He just keeps starring at her not wanting to accept that he's lost her.
"Now, I'm going to go and enjoy my daughters party, with their father." Kenna says walking away from Klaus as he just stares after her.
