Y/N's POV
"Why are you here." I said to him.
He pulled me away from the crowd, to the garden.
It was very quiet.
The watery pale, mute and mystic moonlight - as if it's hiding a thousand secrets.
The faint wind brushed my skin.
In the moonlight, his expression was unreadable.
"I've been waiting for this moment, only you and I."
"Reunited, in the moonlight." He added.
"Every night, I stared at the moon."
I took a deep breath.
"Me too."
"I know. We see the same moon, you and I..."
"...the moon reminds me of you. Beautiful, but so far away."
Tears rolled down my cheeks.
If only he know, that I, am also waiting for this moment. I left because I thought that I was never good enough.
"Jungkook, honestly, I never hate you." I wiped away my tears.
"You're so late. I thought I'd never see you again...." I hit his chest repeatedly.
His brown eyes almost glowed in the moonlight.
"I thought—" My eyes burst into tears as he pulled me into his embrace, patting my back abdomen softly.
"I'm sorry."
I cried in his embrace. It was warm. And comfortable.
A few minutes later, he broke the hug.
Again, in the moonlight, we stared at each other.
"Okay no more crying. Look what happened to your makeup..."
"Oh my god...." I laughed. I must be looking like a vampire. The cute one. 🤪
"Let me send you home." He grabbed my hand.
"But... Kuanlin.. the prom?"
"You want everyone to see you? with your makeup like this?" He pointed at my face.
"No"
"Then let's go." We walked abreast to the carpark.
"Wait wait, who is Kuanlin. Is he handsome-r than me?" He stopped me.
I giggled. "He is."
"Whaaaaattt"
"What what, stop being jealous. He's just a friend." I started walking, crossing my arms on my chest.
It was cold.
Out of the blue, Jungkook put his coat on my shoulder.
"Thanks."

"How do you know that I'm here?"
He ignored my question.
"Wow okay..." I rolled my eyes.
"You will know one day..." He said while handing me a packet of wet tissues.
"Clean your makeup. It's scary."
I slapped his thigh.
"Ouch.... still fierce as usual..."
We arrived to my house.
"Wait, I never told you where I'm living... How did you know?" I asked curiously.
He just shrugged off his shoulder and gave an annoying smile.
"Fine, Kookie."
He widened his eyes. I got off the car and laughed.
I rang the doorbell. Jungkook was still waiting for me to get in.
When the gate was opened, he droves off.
I went in and saw my brother, Namjoon laying on the couch, eating a bag of potato chips while watching Netflix on the tv.
"You're back? Already?" He asked.
"Mm hmm."
"With who?"
I gave him a meaningful smile before headed to my bedroom.
