"Thanks Kacey" I smiled and pulled her in for a hug
Ever since we talked after school, we've been hanging out alot more. Without me cursing, being mean too her. I really enjoy her company alot. I don't know if we're bestfriends but we're close, closer than me and Rihanna were.
"I mean..that's what i'm here for." She broke the hug as we walked up to Dex front door.
I banged on it just to make him mad cause I knew that's what he hated. He opened the door and once he saw it was me, he shut it in my face.
"This bum ass bitch" I knocked on it again and the door went flying open. "You can greet us instead of just looking"
"Who the fuck you got in my crib" He pointed at Kacey
"My friend" I looked at her
"Mhm" He turned over to me. "Lemme talk to you right quick"
I followed him to his kitchen to see what he wanted. He just stared at me before speaking.
"That's the girl huh"
"What? Dex no, you not doing the shit you did to me, to her." I told him
"Nah, the girl you wanted to get rid of"
"Yea..but I changed my mind" I sat on the bar chair
"Why Key'onna? You could make some good ass money off of her"
"She's my friend, im not doing that to her, how did you even know it was her?" I asked
"I saw you push her out your house a couple of times and I know that you don't have many friends, so it wasn't hard"
"Whatever Dex" I got up and went back into the living room.
"Why are you even here?"
"Because we were just bored and I know you're never doing anything cause you have no life" I flopped on his couch
"Hold up" He went upstairs
"Well he's nice" Kacey sat next to me
"Trust me, he's only being nice cause you're here. If you wasn't this whole place would be trashed"
"Key'onna right" Some brownskinned girl came up to me
"Um yea?"
"Nice to meet you, I'm Shay" She smiled
"Okay? How do you know me?" I asked
"You work for Dex right? Your name has been brought up alot, I'm another one of his workers. Hopefully he keeps you"
"Keeps me?"
"Yea..after a while Dex may get tired of the girl and get rid of them without hesitation but if he kinda likes you he would let the others vote if he should keep you" She explained
"Um, why haven't I been informed about this?"
"Oh, I thought you knew. Don't say anything about it please" She hurried up and left.
Bitch im asking him, he fuck she thought.
"Is there something that I don't know Key'onna?" Kacey asked
"Kacey, it's best if you stay out of this. All jokes aside"
"Whatever Key'onna, I just don't want you getting into trouble"
"Okay, but stay here right quick I'll be back" I stood up and went upstairs where Dex was.
"Dex" I busted the door open
"What the fuck Key? What I tell you about coming in my shit" He mugged me
"Nigga, I don't give a fuck. Why is that bitch telling me stuff about you keeping me or getting rid of me?" I sat on his bed
"What bitch?"
"A girl named Shay" I told him
"Look, Key'onna there's shit you don't know about me okay or what you're in or what I do"
"Okay well bitch get to explaining" I yelled
"Who the fuck you calling a bitch" He grabbed me by my neck

"I really should kill yo ass right now" He forcefully let me go making me fall back
"Dex all I ask for is the truth"
"Okay fine" He sat his phone on the night stand. "Look that lil friend shit was fake, basically me and my dad had a business where me fool females into signing a contract and make them do shit for money, thats make US money and we give the girl their cut."
"Okay continue I know there's more"
"Well after a while I get tired of the female and kill them but if I think the girl is kinda cool I'll allow my teammates to vote on if she can stay or not, she'll have a better chance of living" He added
"And that girl is me"
"Key'onna don't stress on it okay, if I kill you then I kill you, if I don't I dont"
"The fact that you're saying this like it's normal" I sniffed
"Don't start that crying shit, you never cried since I met chu. Don't start now or imma really give you something to cry about"
"Dex, im fucking crying cause I don't now if imma live or not!! You just take innocent lives for what!" I yelled. "I lost my fucking mind because of you and then you wanna take my life?"

"No, yeen have shit to say to me, I want out" I folded my arms
He chuckled then grabbed a pocket knife and put it by my throat. "Ion kno whatchu smoking but you aint out shit until I say you are"
"It's really not fair, I'mma just leave cause you gonna kill me anyways"
"Key'onna stop talking crazy cause you already know what im gonna do and killing you is out the window, calm the fuck down" He grabbed his temples. "These past 2 months you been getting soft, go back to the old Key'onna"
"I'm permanently fucked up in the head so if i wanted too i couldn't, whose fault is that?"
"Yours" He plainly said
I laughed in anger. "Right. Cause I willingly wanted to loose my mind and sold my soul" I said sarcastically
When I went to turn around I saw the door opening revealing a confused Kacey.
"Kacey, I was just leaving, sorry for taking long" I hurried and wiped my face
"You been crying?" She asked
"No" I rolled my eyes. "Water just fell on my face from the ceiling"
"Okay my bad for stating the obvious" She grabbed my arm and led me downstairs telling me whatever happened I was gonna be strong and she was gonna be here.
"You really should be with Kai" I told her
"I see him everyday though, plus I wanted to met this Dex guy" She giggled
Yea kacey and kai started dating for the past couple of weeks.
Were they cute? Yes
Did I accept it? Yes
That's when I felt my phone vibrate in my pants.

I huffed as me and Kacey got into the car, I gave her my keys since I didn't feel like driving. She drove herself home and then it was me on the road by myself, replaying the events that happened a couple of minutes ago. Dex was the reason why my life took a left turn.
Once I got into my house the first thing I did was take a 30 minute shower, I aint really need it but I just wanted to feel the hot water on my body. It relaxes me somehow.
"Glad my auntie not here" I mumbled before turning off the water and getting out drying myself.
I put on some jogging pants and a tank top, my hair was also in a messy bun. I laid on my bed turning on netflix to watch "Black Lightning" When I heard a ding from my phone

Okay so, I know this may or may not break some of ya'll hearts but this was and is the last update of this book.
It's literally not going no where and I've been working really hard, I'm honestly done writing books, this the end of my wattpad experience.
