I look at the Purple Lion in front of me, staring off into the sky.
"How are we supposed to form Voltron if Keith is off with the blade?" I ask
"This is only a mission to get information, we shouldn't need to form Voltron." Shiro starts
I look at him before nodding, rubbing my hands together, looking back up at the lion. Shiro stands next to me, setting his hand on my shoulder.
"Are you sure you are ready for this?" He asks
"I have to prove to myself that I am not just one of their spies." I start "I know that I'm not, but I can't shake this feeling that they are somehow using me to get to you."
Shiro looks at me before nodding. He pats my shoulder before turning around, heading towards the black lion.
"Hey, if this is the castle of the lions, then why don't they have a spot for the purple lion?" I ask
"This castle was built before they built the purple is my guess. Ask Coran when you have the next opportunity." Shiro says
I nod before climbing into the cockpit. I watch as the controls start to light up.
"Good to see you too, girl." I smile
"Alright guys, as if you didn't already know. Nat is taking Keith's spot in our formation whenever he isn't here. Allura and Coran have updated the info, therefore Nat can take any area that is needed if we need to form Voltron." Shiro says over the comms
"But let's not need Voltron. Purple can only stay in Voltron for so long before Voltron needs the original back." I say
"That's right. Purple is backup or the spirit." Allura says "She can only do so much before Voltrom reaches its limit."
I look out towards the space in front of me as we fly towards one of the Galra bases.
"Shiro, am I still going in?" I ask
"Yes. I'm sending Lance in with you as back up. You are to get the information then get out of there. Do you two understand?" Shiro says
"Wait, I'm stuck with Mullet's girlfriend?" Lance says
"Hey, she's the one stuck with you," Hunk says
"Boys, let's focus on the objective," I say
"She's the female version of our mullet boy!" Lance says
I laugh before flying behind the Black Lion, watching the stars as we fly past them.

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Keith asks as he looks down at me
"Yes. We need somebody that knows the ways of the Galra and that understand what they are saying in the commands." I say "We both know that I am the only one that can so far. Pidge is learning yes but I can't risk her. Matt wouldn't be able to forgive me."
"I'm just worried about you pushing your limit," Keith says
"Keith, I love you and I'm glad that you are looking out for me. But I need to do this. You're going to be gone with the Blade, Shiro and them... they aren't enough force by themselves." I start "They need at least five lions if the need for Voltron arrives. Purple can take Red's spot if needed."
He looks at me with a smile on his face. He looks at the clock on the wall before situating to where he is lying flat on his back, his arms staying wrapped around me.
"I just want to make sure you stay out of their hands." He whispers
"I'll be okay, I promise. I have the others there to protect me." I say "We're a team and this is how it should be."
He smiles before rubbing my back.
"Now get some sleep, we both have a long day tomorrow." I laugh

I look towards the ships before shaking my head.
"Matt, Kolivan, how are your ships coming?" Shiro asks
"Keith is in now for the Blade. What about the rebels?" Kolivan answers
"We're getting ready to send Matt in right now." Somebody says on the rebel's line "Voltron?"
"We just reached the location. Natasha is getting ready to go in with Lance as backup." Shiro says
"Wait a minute, you're sending him in with my... with Nat?" Keith asks over his line
"Keith, focus on getting that information and then we'll talk about Lance going in as backup." Shiro instructs "And how you phrase things."
I laugh before powering the Purple Lion down, grabbing my bayard.
"Alright, I see where Lance and I need to go in order to get where we need. Pidge, can you shut the power down to the door?" I ask
"If you two head towards it, then yeah. I should be able to shut it down just long enough to get you guys in there." Pidge says
"Alright. Lance, follow my lead." I start
"W-what are you thinking?" Lance asks
"You're going in as my prisoner." I start
"What?!" Lance yelps "We never agreed to this."
"Lance, we just need you to act like you are her prisoner." Shiro starts "Once you reach the command center, you are her back up."
"This is one of their prisoner ships." I start "They take every single one to the command center to book, this is where I can hook up the device that Pidge and Hunk made to get that information."
"Fine..." Lance grumbles
I head towards the lion's exit, looking around before seeing Lance flying towards me.
"Alright, we need that distraction right now," I say
I watch as the others go in to start the attacks. I grab Lance before shooting us towards the door.
"Alright now Pidge!" I say
I watch as the ship powers down. I grab the door before opening it and shoving Lance through the door.
"I'm gonna have to beat you around here just an FYI." I laugh
"Whatever." He hisses
"Bayard, they can see you have it," I say
He groans before handing me his bayard. I latch it to my side before shoving him forward. I look around to see the lights turn back on.
"Natasha, you're back with us?" Somebody says
"Yeah. I couldn't handle Lotor." I start "He was always trying to prove something that didn't need to be proven wrong or something. He tried to get me to switch sides for some reason so I could give him a real fight."
"Well, who do you have as a prisoner?" The person asks
I look at Lance before shrugging, watching the person.
"You caught an actual paladin? That must be why they're here at this ship." The soldier says "Anyway, I need to get out there. You going to join the fight?"
"After I book this prisoner." I laugh
They nod before running off, I look at Lance before pushing him forward.
"Third door on your left," I whisper
"What?" He asks
"That's where we're going." I start "They're going to figure out that I am not here with them."
He nods before taking back his bayard, looking around the room.
"Let's be fast?" He asks
"Always." I laugh
I find the computer as I pull out the device and start to type as fast as I can.
"Pidge, how long is this going to take?" I ask
"Shouldn't take too long." She says
"Shiro, how are we doing out there?" Lance asks
"If we could get done sooner, that would be best. They're starting to bring out the big guns." Shiro says
"Pidge, how much longer?" Lance asks "We're about to have some company."
I look at the computer before smirking and grabbing the device, clipping it to my side.
"Lance start running towards where we came," I say
"Yes, ma'am." He says
I look at the computer before running after him, dodging all of the Galra as they run past us, not processing this.
I see Lance get through the door before I see long white hair appear in front of the door.
"Lotor..." I whisper
"Nat, where are you? I thought you were right behind me." Lance says
"I was. Get to your lion. I'll be right out." I say
I feel something hit me in the ribs, throwing me back towards the wall. I feel my back hit it full force before wincing as I push myself up. I feel the helmet becoming lose before throwing it off.
"Thanks to you, we knew you were coming," Lotor says
"What do you mean?" I ask
I feel a slap to my face before he laughs. I look at him before summoning my bayard, keeping it between us. I bring my hand to my face to feel the damage to feel a cut on my lip.
"They were able to get your friend Keith and Matt before they were able to get the information that you guys wanted to bad." Lotor starts "You haven't heard yet?"
"I didn't tell you guys." I start
"You didn't have to." Lotor says "When I sent Ezor after you, they were able to find the plans that weren't finished yet."
"No, we hadn't even thought of those plans yet." I start
"You think the tracker was the only thing that we planted." Lotor starts "Or your Galra friend. The bug could be on him, or someone he thinks he can trust in the Blade or whatever."
"What?" I ask
"Keith... I think that's his name... he knows he's one of us... Has he not told you?" Lotor laughs
I shake my head before looking out towards the lions.
"No, you didn't capture them or we would've heard about it." I start "The others haven't heard anything about them."
I see Shiro turn the black lion towards the door, it's blaster getting ready.
"Now!" I yell
I jump behind a wall as something comes flying through the wall, blasting Lotor away.
I look through the hole, seeing the Black Lion floating there, ready to shoot again. I grab my helmet before shooting towards the purple lion, needing to get home.
"Thanks Shiro," I say
"Anytime sis, I think you've proved yourself." He says before going through the wormhole
