[Three days later]
Betty's POV
I was at school with Arch and we were at the student lounge. All of sudden, Toni and Kevin went to an empty classroom and I was suspicious of them, so I followed them without being caught.
"Kev, we can't let anybody else know."
"I know, Toni, but don't you think, that Cheryl will find out soon?"
"Yes, but for now, we have to keep it as a secret."
"Yeah. But I have to admit, that V and Jug make the cutest couple ever. And the hottest at the same time."
I was shocked and I hit something next to me. Kevin and Toni heard it and I quickly ran to hide from them. Jughead and Veronica?!?!?! To be honest, I knew it. Jughead melts everytime he's next to her. He never felt the same way for me. Ugh!
All day, I was kinda upset and angry. I wanted to destroy their relationship. I am more beautiful, smarter and better than her. Some days, Jughead used to hate her. I want those days back. But I want everyone to hate her. Like they hate me.
[The next day]
It's weekend. I have a plan. I can play the same game as you, Veronica. I got my phone off my purse and dialed a number.
"Hello, is this mr. Lodge?"
"Yes. And who is calling?"
"Oh, Betty. Betty Cooper. I think you already know me. So, I wanted to tell you something. About your daughter. Veronica Lodge?"
"What about her?"
"Nothing important, you don't have to worry. Here, there are some rumors of your daughter dating a guy. And not only rumors actually. I have seen them making out at school."
"And why would I care so much about that boy?"
"I don't know...Maybe because it's F.P.'s son. Jughead Jones. You know him, don't you?"
"My daughter is dating my enemy's son? Is that what you're saying?"
"Excactly."
"Okay. Thank you for telling me that, Betty."
"I'm glad I was helpful."
I closed my cellphone and smiled. Veronica Lodge, this is going to be your end.
Veronica's POV
I was at Pop's with Juggie, eating burgers. We were laughing and having a great time, until I got a call from Hiram. My smile faded away.
"I've gotta answer that, Jug."
He nodded and I kissed his cheek, making my way to the restroom.
"What do you want?"
"Hello to you, too, mija. I've heard some news from your friend, Betty Cooper, that you have a new boyfriend. Take it as a last warning, you better watch out."
"Or what? I am not afraid of you anymore. I am a Serpent now and plus, I won't be your puppet doll, as my mom is."
"Don't you remember what happened to Jughead Jones the last time? I can promise you, that this time, you will find him....dead."
And with that he hanged up. My eyes started tearing up. How did Betty knew? Why? Jughead oh my God! He is in danger. Suddenly, the door opened and I screamed.
"Hey, hey, it's just me."
It was Jughead. I hugged him and cried. I was so scared. Hiram won't be satisfied until he kills him. I begged Jug to go back at home. He drove me there with the bike. I was terrified. My whole body was white. But I am a Lodge, too. I won't let something like this to happen. We were lucky, because JB was in a party with her friends, so Jug and I were able to talk about it alone.

At the Lodge lodge, we got in and I locked the door, grabbed his hand and led him to our bedroom and closed the door, too.
"What happened? Why are you so scared, Ronnie?"
"Betty knows. About us. She called me father and now he is threating me to break up with you or he's going to kill you. I'm scared, Juggie!"
Jughead exhaled loudly. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.
"Look, we are Serpents, sweetie. We can both take care of ourselves. Don't be afraid. Hiram is just trying to scare you, I'm sure about it. And as about Betty, I will kill her. But please, I'm begging you, don't break up with me! You are my life, please."
"Oh, Jug, you are so dumb. I would never break up with you. I-I'm just scared. H-He won't stop, unless you'll be dead."
Jughead kissed me and hugged me again.
"Don't worry about me, Ronnie."
I nodded and Jug wiped my tears away. Eventually, I decided to go and get JB from the party. I was afraid to leave him alone. But...No, Jug is right.

Jughead's POV
I wanted to kill Betty. She fucking deserved it! How could I ever date a bitch like her, why was I so blind and stupid. As I was about to break her door, someone put a bag on my face and dragged me somewhere. I tried to escape, but I couldn't. They led me to a place and started kicking and punching me. They were doing it for at least, 30 minutes. I couldn't move. I was really hurt. I felt like a helpless dof in the street, looking for help. Fuck, I knew who was it. Veronica was right. I'm going to be dead.
[Meanwhile]
Veronica's POV
Jellybean and I arrived to the lodge and saw a note on the front door. Jellybean started reading it.
'Don't look for him here, he is at the bunker. I told you, that it was the last warning. HL'
FUCK JUGHEAD!!!
I started panicking and immediately took Jellybean's hand and ran to the bunker. What the hell did I do?!

[At the bunker]
Jellybean and I got in.
"Don't worry, V, I have a pocket knife here."
I nodded and almost instantly, saw a man with a mask hitting Jughead, whose face was in a bag. Oh my God, he can't breathe easily with that shit on his face .
"LEAVE HIM ALONE, YOU MOTHER FUCKER!!!" I yelled, grabbed JB's pocket knife ans threw it to him. I got his leg and he started screaming. I ran up to him and removed the pocket knife.
"DON'T MESS WITH THE PEOPLE, THAT I LOVE!"
I slapped him hard and kicked him. I threw the knife to his arm and got him out of the bunker. Jellybean was already removing the bag from Jughead, who was, for once more, all beaten up. This time, I had someone to help me. Luckily, Jughead wasn't as bad as the last time. I helped him sit on the bed and held his hand close to me.
"Juggie, I was so freaking worried about you. I told you about my father and now here you are. I got you in danger... I am the worst girlfriend ever."
"Ronnie, don't say that. You are the best girlfriend in the world! And don't worry about your father, we will face him together."
"I don't want something like that to happen again. I hate seeing you in pain."
Jughead kissed my forhead.
"Do you r-really...l-love me?"
"Of course I do! Jughe-"
He cut me off by kissing me softly. He is so sweet and caring. Jellybean fake-coughed. Jughead and I pulled away slowly and connected out forheads together, breathing heavily. Our eyes were still closed.
"I love you, too, Veronica."
"Awwwww, look at you guys, you are so sweet and cheesy! I like that."
Jellybean laughed.
After a while, we went back to the lodge and discussed. Now, Hiram knows were I live. But no, there is no way, I'll ever let him to hurt the people I love. Never. Jellybean had a great idea. A really clever one.
"I have an idea. As you said, Betty informed Hiram about Jughead. But how would she know that you live here? The answe is, she didn't. Hiram probably threatened your mother with something to make her confess. But don't worry, he will never be able to enter this house and that's because you, Veronica, work on a drink, right? You need testers, don't you? I have a magic thing right here."
She took a little bottle out of her pocket. It was poison.
"Where did you found this?"
"Our mother, Jughead."
Jughead sighed.
"Of course..."
"We are going to poison him. And I can promise you, that he won't die, because we are going to add just a little. But he is going to be really sick for a couple of weeks and I think, you said, that Toni and Cheryl used to steal things? Work with them."
"What do you mean?"
"You will break in the Pembrooke and steal his precious stuff. Jughead and I will help you, too. You are a Serpent. You are my brother's girlfriend!"
"LET'S DO IT!"
