(Jack's POV)
I wake up in a bed. I jolt in shock!
"Elsa!" I scream! Then I remember...she died, saving me...
Where am I?
A familiar whinney sounds in the doorway. Onyx. I had returned to Nightmare Castle, my father's true home...
I slip out of my bed, stumbling. I brush off the fearling servants attempts to help me.
Nothing can help me now.
I wander blindly out of the castle. The winter wind swirling like my mood, unstable and grieved.
I pace out into the woods. The trees seem darker, not ominously; but in a gloomy, resigned way.
Tears stream softly down my cheeks.
What do I have left to live for?
The fearlings and nightmares trail about me. Concern in their amber eyes.
Then I wondered at what to do. I knew the truth about the Isle. I knew what I had to do...but HOW, how can I find such strength when the cost is everything I love!?
Jack:
What good is this crying?
I don't even know what I'm doing.
I don't even know what I ought to try!
Elsa, where are you?
Already dead, or bleeding?
One more disaster I can add to my,
Generous supply?
[I failed Elsa. How can I tell Anna she's dead? What about Olaf? Elsa made him...if she died...did he die too? I should've saved us both! Elsa should not have sacrificed all for me!]

[Aurradon claimed they are good. All about good deeds, mercy, peace, unity! Well, their good deeds did this. Their 'good deed' to create the Isle led to so much loss! And like a fool. I tried to adjust to their ways. Tried to work with King Ben to find a "peaceful solution!" Well, lesson learned. Now they're gonna learn a hard lesson too!]

One question haunts and hurts,

Or just seeking attention?
[I ask the universe in general. Why did this keep happening to me. Finding people to care about, only to have them torn from you in the most painful way? The Nightmares and fearlings edge closer. They have a strange gleem in their eyes.]
Is that all good deeds are when looked at with an ice-cold eye?
If that's all good deeds are,
Maybe that's the reason why!
[Onyx reveals to me, something I never knew...I have the ability to use Nightmare sand or in my case Nightmare Ice, Black Ice. Embracing my darker side will give me an advantage over Auradon!]
