Kars and the gang get back to land and Narancia goes out to Buy Trish some groceries.
Kars tries to get to know the gang better.
Mista:"So you're saying you don't know how old you are?"
Kars:"Well I know I'm at the least 93.... but Mr. Joestar did once say I'm over 102,000."
Fugo:"Geez, you look really good for your age."
Kars:"Yeah I tend not to."
Fugo:"So... you're saying there was a time you were 4,444?"
Mista:"NA~NI?!"
Mista slowly begins to pull out his gun.
Abbacchio:"MISTA NO!!!!"
Mista:"MISTA YES!!!!!『SEX PISTOLS』"
his stands appear as Mista shoots Kars 3 times.
Kars:"Ow... that kind of hurt..."
Kars flexes a bit dislodging the bullets in his body.
Fugo:"NA~NI?! well I mean you ARE 102,000 years old"
Kars:"Oh yeah, Didn't I mention? I'm kind of Immortal."
Mista:"Narancia is going to wanna test that out when he gets back."
Kars:"Yeah he seemed like the kind of fellow that would shoot someone up to test their Mortality."
Fugo:"Speaking of your age, How long have you had your stand? You say you're over 100,000 years old but just the other day you seemed pretty surprised at your own stand."
Kars:"Actually, I just got it yesterday...."
Mista:"WOW! that's cool."
Kars and Mista continue talking throughout the day.
about Mista's Tetraphobia and Kars's Mysterious Monophobia, Cryophobia and overwhelming Astrophobia.
Mista:"It's not Tetraphobia! The Number that comes after 3 but before 5 is just unlucky."
Kars:"Yeah and I just don't like being alone or being in the Cold despite the fact I don't get Cold...."
Mista:"Yeah, That's kind of weird."
by the time Narancia gets back he looks pretty worse for ware.
as he's healed up the gang argues over their next move.
they all get an e-mail from the bossu saying that they need to get a key that will allow them safe passage to their destination.
Bucciarati, Narancia, and Mista stay to Protect Trish while Giorno, Abbachio, and Fugo go to the ruins of Pompeii to receive the key.
while Abbachio and Fugo don't want Kars to come he feels he's been to Pompeii before
even before an apparent "Catastrophe" reduced the City to Ashes
Fugo:"For all we know he could be a spy."
so Kars just follows them without their knowledge
while there Fugo seems to see something in the mirror that Giorno and Abbachio can not
within the blink of the eye Fugo disappears into the Mirror.
maybe this isn't a good time to be sight seeing...
just as Kars is about to leave he's stopped by a Figure in his way.
he's about to just walk past it and if it attacks he'll just try out his stand on it.
but Abbacchio looks frightened by it.
Giorno looks cautious.
"Maybe I should just sit this one out" Kars thinks to himself.
when suddenly a crow falls dead onto the ground.
that isn't a good sign....
whatever this thing is, it's a danger to everyone around it.
Kars unsheathes his blades and darts toward the Creature.
he usually doesn't go in for the kill right away. what would Jolyne think? but this thing could be a hazard to the surrounding area
as the blade connects Kars feels like he just cut through air.
because he did.
the blades went right through it.
it must be a Stando!!!!
Giorno:"Kars?! Get Back Quickly!!"
Abbacchio:"Shit, well he's dead now..."
before he can react the creature stares him dead down.
Kars:"Vroom-Vroom『DRIVE』"
but before a mask can conjure up it reels back a punch and decks Kars directly in the face.
"URSHA~A~A~A~A~A~A~A~A~A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "
Kars is blown back as he feels his flesh melting away.
but luckily his healing factor just keeps him in a constant state of agony
Kars:"I-I'm Fi-i-i-ine-ne Gu-Guys!!! just have to Die a little bit for my body to get used to it...."
Abbacchio:"Seriously... what IS this guy?"
Kars's body begins to morph and adapt to the Virus that eats away at his flesh until his body eventually gains an immunity.
Abbacchio leaves to go get the key.
Kars:"Well, uh.... I'm just going to go... now....."
Giorno:".....ok....."
Kars gets up dusts some of the flesh juice off of his clothes and leaves.
as he leaves he admires some of the ruins and thinks he has some fond memories from here.
perhaps with his Family.... wherever they are now.
just as he's about to leave the ruins he hears a commotion coming from where Giorno was.
"『MAN IN THE MIRROR』"
"『PURPLE HAZE』"
so being the Curious boy he is he runs over to see whats the matter
and comes across this scene...
Kars:"Well.... That was brutal...."
Fugo:"Kars?! what are you doing here?!"
Giorno grabs a snake and has his stand poke it and inject it into himself causing him to spasm on the floor screaming
Kars:"Is he?.... Ok?"
Fugo:"Yeah, he just used a snake to create a cure for Purple Haze."
Kars:"Oh, that's your stand? it's really cool.... I wish my stand was that cool...."
Fugo looks in horror as he realizes Kars is standing directly in the infected area.
Kars:"Oh, Don't worry, my body already adapted to it once. now it's just natural..."
Fugo:"Oh.....Kay? well I'm going to go treat Abbacchios wounds. Get Giorno back to the vineyard."
Kars:"Oh? you trust me now?"
Fugo:"No, but Giorno seems to so I'll as well."
Kars picks up Giorno in his muscley arms and flies off back to the vineyard
after that fiasco the gang decide it's about time to get on a train.
atleast nothing goes wrong on a train.....
