Sorry this took so long to get out! I got super busy with work and then I went on vacation but I'm back now and I'm excited to get through these next two chapters then start the Training Camp Arc! (My favourite arc). I have everything for that arc planned out and I'm super excited. Anyways Enjoy!!

Mei POV
I was sitting in the break room enjoying a cup of warm hot chocolate (Mei doesn't like coffee) when a familiar brunette walked in. "Hey Mei! How's your break?" I leaned back and stretched with a big groan and chuckled "well Gunhead has been putting us through the wringer so this is feeling pretty nice" she laughed and sat down beside me. "Yeah I guess he has been working us pretty hard".
Both Uraraka and I got a decent amount of offers, her getting 20 and me getting around 30, but we both decided to join up together and do our internships with the Battle Hero, Gunhead. His appearance definitely matches his name, he's a tall and muscular man who looks quite intimidating and he's a fierce close combat fighter but he has another side that we have been seeing that I would've never expected. The other day I was on break enjoying a donut and I was on my phone catching up with classmates, well, classmate since the only person I was really talking to was Kirishima.
Flashback to the Second Day
Gunhead has walked in to grab some coffee and had noticed me smiling at my phone and giggling every once in a while. He slowly crept over behind me and peeked around my shoulder to see what was making me so smiley and saw the name 'Kirishima ☺️' at the top of my phone. He browsed through his knowledge of the U.A. class 1-A and picked out the red head. "NO WAYYYYY" I spit out some of my donut from the force of the "pat" (that felt more like a punch) on the back I got from Gunhead. Nearly choking I managed to swallow what I had left and turned to him. "What?!" He chuckled "you and the red riot boy! You really know how to pick em" he said with a wink. "I blushed madly and stuttered, "w-what NO that's not- no we're not dati-" he cut me off when he bent over and got right in my face with his hands clasped together and rested against his chin. "Aweeee no need to be embarrassed! He's a manly guy and I have no doubt he'll grow up to be a big strong hero" before I could finish he grabbed my wrist and high fives my hand "way to go MEI!" He said then strutted out of the room, leaving me in shock, "what?!" I said it a harsh whisper. I heard a buzz come from my phone and saw the text was from Kirishima, I quickly blushed and shut my phone and got ready to go practice some more.
End of Flashback
It's been a couple of days now since the Hosu City incident involving Todoroki, Izuku and Iida. Luckily all of them ended up okay and only sustained minor injuries, it scares me though, how close they came and how close anyone of us can come to death in this line of work. I was knocked out of my thoughts when Uraraka ran over and was clearly embarrassed about something due to the huge blush that had formed across her cheeks. "You okay?" I asked and she shook her head slightly. "Gunhead won't stop bugging me about Izu-" he jumped behind the both of us screaming "Uraraka and Mei has got boyyyyyfriendsssss!!!!" We both blushed madly "NOOOOOOO!!"
"Alright everyone we're gonna learn some Gunhead Martial Arts" he continued talking as I stretched my sore muscles. 'Okay now this is what I came here for'. It was our last day so it's only right to save the best for last. We had gone out on a few patrols but they kept our internship more indoors after the hosu incident for safety, so for the past few days we've been doing combat training nonstop.
"So, how would you fight against someone with a knife?" We all stayed silent, "Uravity, can you try attacking me?" She began to get into an attack position, "are you sure?" Gunhead nodded, "you don't have to hold back" Uraraka gripped the knife "alright then here I come!" She began to run at him, swing the knife through the air, "when someone is coming at you with a knife, the best thing to do it to try and keep your distance" he said as he continued dodging her attacks and hopping backwards. "If they attack you directly, use your leg as an axis to pivot and dodge" Uraraka over stepped and missed him completely, "then grab their wrist and neck at the same time, and then hold them down as you pull their wrist" Uraraka slammed to the ground and was completely immobilized. "Know if your able to twist their wrist and kick the knife away than that would be even more perfect" he then demonstrated and let Uraraka up. I looked in awe "that was so smooth and effective, amazing". He helped Uraraka up then dusted his hands, "now then, we will be practicing this until all of you can get it right" "yes sir!"
We practiced Gunhead's Martial Arts all day until we couldn't anymore and we planned to head home later that evening. Me and Uraraka were in the change room changing out of our hero suits and into some more casual clothes. "I think I might have to take a warm bath once I get home, my muscles are killing me" I nodded in agreement, "I hear ya, I haven't done this much work in a long time." It was silent for a moment before Uraraka spoke, "so when Gunhead was bugging us about boyfriends, I know he was bugging me about Deku but who was he bothering you about?" I blushed a bit, "oh! He just saw me texting Kirishima while I was on break" Uraraka made an "O" shape with her mouth and laughed, "he's one interesting guys" I chuckled, "yeah you can say that again". We both laughed as we walked out of the change room and went to say our goodbyes. We ended up getting a picture with Gunhead then headed back home.
I got back to my place and was greeted by my mom and sister with big hugs. "How was it hun?" I leaned into her hug and sighed, "it was tough, my whole body aches but I learned a lot from it" I didn't know if I was imagining it but my mother seemed to be a bit skinnier than about a month ago, I sighed and hugged her tighter holding back some tears. "I love you mom" she kissed my forehead "I love you to Mei."
The next day in class we all met up together and began talking about our internships with the different hero agencies, but everyone was mostly interested in deku, todoroki, iida and the hosu city incident. I met up with Kirishima and began asking "so how was your experience? You were with Fourth Kind right?" He groaned slightly, "it was great but it wasn't that bad, me and Tetsutetsu got hit a lot when we did anything wrong, but we learned a lot about job punctuality and how we can't win on force alone" I nodded my head, "hmm interesting, did you guys do any fighting? Training?" Kirishima laughed "we made tea and cleaned a park" I laughed and he began to laugh too, "oh well they all have their ways of training" I nodded in agreement.
We continued conversations with everyone until Aizawa-sensei walked in, "alright everyone listen up, I know everyone just got back from their internships but you have no time to rest." The room was silent, "final exams are coming up" you could feel the tension in the room after that, everyone's nerves building. "It will consist of two parts, a written exam and then an exercise exam, make sure you all study and prepare because those of you who do not pass will not be jointing us in our training camp" there were a lot of groans and gasps coming from the group. "Damn, I gotta get my ass in gear, I'm 8th overall in the class, which isn't bad but I need to do better in order to pass theses exams" Aizawa cleared his throat, "alright now let's begin today's class".
After school I walked home, with Kirishima of course until we had to part ways. Once I got home I was greeted by Yui. My mom was taking a nap on the couch, "hey mom I'm home" I said as I lightly poked her shoulder, "oh hey hun, how was school?" I nodded it was alright, our final exams are coming up so everyone is feeling the tension. I'm gonna start making dinner soon, what do we want tonight" Yui grabbed my leg, "oh oh! Soba! Can we please have Soba?" My mom nodded and I nodded as well. "Yayyyyyy!!"
I was just about to start making dinner when I got a call from Kirishima. "Hello?" I answered and Kiri quickly replied "have you started making dinner yet?!" I looked at the package of noodles I had pulled out "Um I was just about to, why what's up?" Kirishima cleared his throat, "well my parents had planned a big family dinner for tonight but they had to cancel because most of my family were coming by plane and their flights got canceled so we're left with all this food..." he paused for a moment and I spoke, "andddd?" "O-oh um we were wondering if you wanted to have dinner with us, we can come to your place so your mom doesn't have to travel" I looked at my mom who had been listening over my shoulder, she smiled and mouthed to me 'I would love that' I smiled back "we'd love that!" I heard Kirishima whisper to his parents that it was good to go "alright we'll be right over!" I smiled "okay sounds good! See you soon."
I was setting the table when I heard a knock at the door. "I'll get it" I jogged over to the door and opened it and I was greeted with a sharped tooth grin, and many other sharp toothed grins. I knew Kirishima said he had a big family but I wasn't expecting the amount of people that came. I invited them all in and he began introducing them. "Alright so everyone this is Mei, Yui and their mom Fuyu Mei" they all waved and we did the same back. "This is my family and I understand if you want remember all of them" we laughed then he continued "this is my youngest brother, Tashiro, he's 4. Next is Nara and she's 6, then comes Naoko, she's 9. And my oldest younger sibling is Ichigo and he's 12. Finally my mom Niikura Kirishima." My mom leaned over and shook Mrs. Kirishima's hand, "its very nice to meet you all" Mrs. Kirishima nodded and smiled "you as well". I helped Kiri's family set up all the crock pots and bowls of food and then we all took a seat at the table. I clasped my hands together and bowed my head, "itadakimasu!" Everyone else followed after "itadakimasu!!"

Okay so this story with this story the info on Kirishima's family is not canon, there's actually like no canon info you can find on his family so I went based off of what Protect-Kirishima-Eijirou from Tumblr said about what they thought his family was like and I agreed with them 100% so credit to Kiri's family (except for their names, I came up with those, as well as the genders of his siblings) goes to them. Also I'm continuing this little dinner story thing into the next chapter cuz it would've been WAY to long to put it in here so there may be three chapters before the Camp arc, idk yet tho.
