Sarah’s POV
We’re on our way to NAIA Terminal 3; he’s driving and holding my hand with his spare hand while our luggage is at the back of the car.
What I’m feeling right now is inconceivable! Feels like I’m in a dream that I don’t want to be awake of.
We’ll glance at each other once in awhile and then starts to laugh, still not believeing that this is happening.
Sarah: What are you laughing at?
Matt: Nothing... (And then smirking)
Sarah: Heh! Ano nga?
Matt: I just thought, at last naitanan na kita! Haha!
Sarah: Che! Loko ka ah. (Sabay hampas ko sa braso nito kaya’t medyo naging unstable yung takbo ng sasakyan)
Matt: Love! I’m driving!
Sarah: Ikaw kasi ih... Puro ka kalokohan. Ano nga palang itinerary natin dun? Patingin.
Matt: Just let me handle it, okay? I’m the boss of this trip! (Napakayabang nitong sabi)
Sarah: Sige na, sige na... Lagi ka namang ‘under’ ih. Papagbigyan kita ngayon. (Mapang-asar kong sabi)
Matt: Ganun ah... (Bigla itong ngumiti ng nakakaloko)
Actually, pinagbibigyan lang kita lagi ‘cause I know you really like it when you’re on top.
Sarah: Ha? Anong pinagsasabi mo?
Matt: Like what we did in China, remember? (Sabay taas baba ng kilay nito)
At nang ma-gets ko ang tinutukoy nito ay biglang parang naging kamatis sa pula ang mukha ko.
Sarah: Gagi ka! Ang bastos mo... (At pinaghahampas ko uli ito sa braso)
Matt: Hindi ka ba nag-enjoy nun?
Sarah: Matt!!! Stop.
Maya-maya ay binusinahan na kami ng ibang sasakyang nakakasabay namin dahil unstable na ang pagda-drive ni Matt dahil sa kahahampas ko dito.
Matt: Ikaw kasi. O malinaw na ah?
Sarah: Ang alin?
Matt: Let me be on top, this time.
Sarah: Ano ba?!! Tigilan mo yan---
Matt: Ano bang iniisip mo? What I mean is let me lead... Kaw ah... Anong iniisip mo?
Sarah: Che!
We drove directly to ‘Park and fly’ to leave his car and ride the airport’s van to the terminal.
Sobrang aga pa kaya’t medyo konti pa yung tao pero marami pa rin ang nakakita sa amin and took some paparazzi photo. Binilisan na lang namin ang lakad and went directly to the VIP lounge.
We had our breakfast in the lounge. Napansin naming nangingiti yung mga airport staff at ibang Filipino passenger na nakakita sa amin. Almost all of them are actually looking at our back kaya’t napapatingin din kami, as if they’re expecting na may iba pa kaming kasama.
Pati sila hindi makapaniwalang kami lang dalawa yung magkasama. Haha!
Matt’s POV
Pilot: (In a Dutch tone) Good morning Manila, welcome aboard to ‘Cathay Pacific’, this your Captain, Jim Hudsen and with me is our co-Pilot Capt. Conor Ledwil. This is a 16 hours and 20 minutes flight from Manila via Hongkong to Amsterdam, Netherlands. We’ll be flying in an altitutde of....
I clasped her hand because I know that she’s really afraid when the plane is about to depart.
When the plane became stable on air, she started to open her eyes. Mind you, she’s really afraid.
Matt: How’s my baby? (Pangloloko ko dito)
Sarah: Heh! Baby ka dyan! Kita mo na ngang takot ih.
I just kept quiet, continuously staring at her and couldn’t keep myself from smiling like crazy.
Sarah: What?
Matt: I just can’t believe na solong-solo kita ngayon (Ito na naman ang bibig kong masyadong honest).
Sarah: Hay naku! Puro kalokohan na naman yang naiisip mo, Gian Matteo!
Matt: Masaya lang, puro kalokohan kaagad?
Sarah: What if we make a deal? No kissing at all for this trip?!
(Sabay tinaasan ako ng kilay nito. Pero dahil sa tagal na rin namin ay alam kong inaasar lang ako nito.)
Matt: Okay lang. (Kitang-kita sa mukha nito ang gulat sa sinabi mo.)
Sarah: Sigurado kang okay lang?
Matt: Oo naman. Basta ba kaya mo ih... (Sabay lapit ng mukha ko dito at halos gahibla na lang ang pagitan namin.)
Sarah: Okay, deal...
Kasabay ng pagsabi niya nito ay humawak siya sa batok ko, so I closed the gap between us.
We’re doing it slowly and tastefully.
We’re doing ‘tongue hockey’ for almost 3 minutes now and if this is what we’re goin’ to do for the rest of this 16 hours flight, I won’t mind.
Now, still thinking why our face contoure are becoming firm lately? We’re burning calories, baby!
We’re so into the world of our own and could not find the strength to stop.
Flight Attendant: *Clearing throat* Ahmm...You may recline your seat, Ma’am, Sir to be more comfortable. Thank you.
Sarah: Shit...
Pulang-pula ito at pilit itinatago ang mukha niya sa dibdib ko.
Matt: Okay lang yan, hindi naman niya tayo kilala. Foreigner naman yan.
And I just hugged her tight.

Pilot: We’re now 20 minutes before landing; the temperature in Amsterdam is 7 degrees Celsius, 81% of humidity there---- CAB and crew, prepare for arrival.
I gave her a peck on the lips to wake her up when the plane already landed.
Matt: Love, we’re here.
Sarah: Ang lamig... (While stretching her arms and gave me a hug while she’s still half awake)
Once we deplane, we took a selfie together. By the way, I bought a DS/LR camera just for this and I think it will be on my neck throughout this trip.
From the airport we went straight to ‘Waldorf Astoria’ where I made reservations for 4 nights.
While the hotel receptionist checks our reservation, we saw crease forming in her forehead.

(Insert Author’s Note: Ooops! I’ll stop your imagination from here. This is not your usual teleserye. We’re trying to be as realistic as possible, hehe! Since Waldorf Astoria is a 5 star hotel, their reservation is flawless, stop hoping that they have to sleep in one room because that’sthe only available room left)
Hotel Receptionist: Two Deluxe Room, room 1407 and 1409 (Still looked confused while handing the card key). Enjoy your stay.
Matt: Okay thanks. (Was about to walk away)
Hotel Receptionist: Excuse me Sir.
Matt: Yes?
Hotel Receptionist: You could just leave the key of one of the rooms here, for the other guests.
Matt: Pardon?
Hotel Receptionist: So that when they arrive we don’t have to disturb you, just to get the other key. Since you two are staying in just one of these rooms, you’re on a honeymoon, right? (Still clueless)
Sarah: Ghad... (Sarah buried her face on my back and I felt the heat coming from her face).
And I can’t help but laugh.
Matt: There’s no other guest... We’re not yet married and I’m still waiting for her proposal. (The receptionist got shy but laughs a bit on what I said).
But thanks for the suggestion, she might consider it.
Sarah: Asa ka! (Sabay hampas nito sa likod ko).
