Johnny Storm
The orange cloud shoots through the barrier on the platform that is supposed to protect us. I fling myself in front of Scar and we scream out as we're thrown back from the impact of the storm. Scar lands with me and then she is thrown away from my grip even when I try to grab for her. I wanted to scream out her name, but I couldn't. Waves of heat bounce off my body and it feels like I'm absorbing them.
I hear a pipe break and see it spraying all over her. I try to move, but I can't move anywhere. I notice her stumbling over to me and then collapsing on me. I sigh in relief because I know I have got her. Spots cloud my vision and I hear yelling, but I black out before I can comprehend what it said.

I walk up startled. My bed sheets are soaked with my sweat. I jump out of the bed looking around the room curiously. A nurse comes into the room and I see her eyeing me up because I'm sexy.
"Oh look, you're awake." She says and I decide to turn on the charms for her.
"Hey, Sweet cheeks you're looking good in the outfit." I wink at her and I see a blush creep up her face. I smile seductively at her. I walk out of the room after I finished talking to her and walk down the hall. I walk into a random room and I spot Scar laying there. I sit down next to her and grab her hand. I look down at her pale form.
"Hey Scar. I know you're probably out of it but I just wanted to say that I'm sorry." I let out a whoosh of air. "You were my best friend but I ended up betraying that trust. I went against you, using everything that you told me about yourself. I just hope that you'll forgive me for all I've done." A tear slips down my cheek and I look down at our hands. Her hand reaches up and wipes the tear of my face. She must've heard the whole thing.
"Oh Johnny, I forgive you." She croaks out and I let out a weak smile. I rub my thumb over her hand in circles and she lets out a deep breath.
"You need to get some more sleep, Scar." I say looking into her tired eyes. She nods and closes her eyes. I reach my hand up and trace her face. Her eyes open up again as I run my hand through her hair. "Good night, Scar." And she laughs while I leave the room.
Scarlett POV
"Jooohnny!" I hear a roar from Ben. I sit up in bed as fast as I hear the roar. I suddenly ache in pain and I look around. My room is covered with flowers. Lilies, roses, gardenias and more. I inhale their fresh scent and smile in pleasure as it had filled the air. I hear the door creep open and a nurse walks in.
"How are you feeling, Sweetheart?" she asks me. She looks me over for any possible injuries that I could have.
"I ache all over, but other than that I'm good." I move around in the bed and wince as I sit back against the head board. My back feels like it's on fire. She walks up to me and pushes a thermometer into my mouth.
"Well Darlin', I'll have the doctor come in here and he'll give you something for the pain. But right now I need to check your temperature and we'll make sure you don't have a fever." She says while scribbling notes on her clipboard.
BEEP!
I take the thermometer out of my mouth and into her pocket in the apron she is wearing. I jump up from the bed ignoring the searing pain in my back. I run out and immediately bump into Reed in the hallway. I begin to fall, but he catches me in his arms.
I stand up and straighten my clothes out. I look at Reed and then tilt my head looking at him confused. Why does he have grey in his hair? He looks at me and I just change my face so my brother doesn't think there is anything wrong with him.
"Thanks Reed." I turn away, run around the building and find Johnny laughing his head off in a hallway. When he notices me he stops laughing and he walks up to me and his hand cups my face. He looks with his dancing bright blue eyes into my sea green ones.
"How are you Scar?" he asks concern lacing his features. I lean into his hand and heave a deep sigh.
"I'm good, but sore. What was with the yelling of your name?" Johnny's face breaks out into a smile and it becomes a laugh.
"I was messing with Ben!" He laughs even harder at the thought. I push him in the shoulder but I'm smiling also. We begin walking through the hallway and I feel Johnny's hand wrap around my waist. I flick his hand off and keep walking. I feel it creep up again.
"I am trained in martial arts, Johnny. I don't think you want to mess with me." I growl and his hand slips higher onto my body. This is the annoying Johnny that I don't like. I grab his hand, turning swiftly around, wrap my legs around his neck and use the momentum to make him land on his back with my legs wrapped around his head.
"I wasn't lying, Johnny!" I snap myself up from the floor and take off sprinting, not wanting to deal with anymore comments from him. As I run I just barely miss Doctors and nurses with trays.
About an hour later, I find my way back to my room and lay down on my bed. My head starts throbbing and a searing pain shoots up my spine and spreads through my arms. I hold back my yell of pain by biting my lip, so hard it begins to bleed. I notice Reed and Sue running by my room fast.
The pain becomes too unbearable for me and I let out a loud shrill scream that I hear echo down the halls. I collapse to the ground clutching my head with my hands. I feel hands wrap around me and trying to comfort me from the pain that is hurting me.
"It's getting cold in here." I hear a voice say, a female one. I let out another scream of pain and black spots dance in my vision.
"I hope she is okay. This must be the worst pain she ever experienced." I hear a voice say and I don't know if it is in my mind or someone said it.
"You think!" I growl out and I let out another piercing scream that gets louder and louder, until I finally pass out.
Johnny POV
We run down the hall looking for Ben to see if he is alright. I had caught my whole body on fire and it was totally awesome! I saw Scarlett about an hour ago before I went snowboarding down the Alps with a nurse, so I thought she'd be okay. We pass a room and then a scream echoes down the hallway.
Scar! We turn around and begin running to the room we think the screaming came from. I notice it is Scarlett's room. I watch as she crumples to the ground with her hands on her head. I run over and wrap my arm around her while trying to maneuver this hot pink coat wrapped around my waist to stay there instead of riding up.
I rub my hand up and down her arms trying to calm her down and I can feel the temperature drop to a low. I see the others shiver and I'm barely cold.
"It's getting cold in here." Sue says and I notice I see my breath in the air. I nod in agreement and look down at Scar who lays there rocking back and forth clutching her hands to her head.
"I hope she is okay. This must be the worst pain she ever experienced." I think to myself and then Scar answers.
"You think!" she growls and my mouth drops open. It's like she knew what I was thinking. I sit there holding her as she lets out another scream and then one that gets louder and louder while she clutches her head. Then she falls limb in my arms.
I look up at Reed and his face goes pale. Frost spreads across the room from where Scarlett and I are and I see Sue shaking. I set Scar in her bed and then we heard a loud crash. Sue, Reed and I rush down the hall to Ben's room. Sue try's getting the passcode, but she can't
I watch disgusted as Reed's hand slides under the door and up the other side as he unlocks it.
"That's gross." I say and Reed shoots me a warning look.
BANG!
We rush into the room to see and large hole in the side of the room. Then I notice Scar comes rushing in looking better.
"What is that thing?" I ask stunned as I see it running.
"That Thing is Ben" Scar says and walks farther into the room covered with rubble from the wall. She looks out over the small forest watching him go farther away from us.
"What's going on?" I turn to see Victor Von doom stepping into the room. He looks around the rubble and frowns.
"Vic, are you feeling alright." Sue asks curiously looking Victor up and down for any possible signs of damage. She might want to check his mind.
"I'm fine, why?" he asks looking at her and then to Scarlett, Reed and I.
"Because our buddy Ben did this." Scar answers and I notice Victor give Scar and harsh look. Scarlett shoots one right back at him and it's a very harsh one.
"Buddy?" he says shaking his head "Why did he do this?" He gets a frustrated look on his face while looking at the rubble across the floor.
"We had some kind of reaction from the storm and he's not the only one." I look at Reed. So what was up with Scarlett?
"Victor, I'm sorry I-"he cuts Sue off as she tries to speak with him.
"Just find him." He growls and I can tell Scar is about to snap. He walks out of the room and I notice frost taking over the floor. I look at Scar and she is looking at the Blue swirls in her hands. I cover her hand with mine and she looks up with tears in her eyes.
"What's going to happen Johnny? Where is Ben going to? Where are we going after this?" Tears flow down her face and it just breaks my heart. I lift her chin with my finger, I wipe the tears trom her cheek with my thumb.
"We'll figure it out." She nods and steps back away from me suddenly noticing that I'm wearing a women's coat. She then rushes out of the room snow falling after her.
